- Yet another issue in a list that seems a mile long! I can not believe we are having to replace our entire roof! The budget on this barndominium remodel keeps getting bigger and bigger.

We are so sorry about the roof!!!
Check your walls also. The screws that are used for tin roofs have rubber washers, if they get squashed or the rubber brakes when screwed in to much, causes leaks..
Sorry for your problems and issues. It will get better before it gets worse. Go and have a safe trip with family it will help take a load off your mind. It will work out in the long run. It always does.
James, we are very sorry about your roof, as we have watched your entire project and the hard and impressive work you and Ashley did!
You are awesome to be able to say “Stay positive, life is an adventure”, because not only are you absolutely correct, but we went through some tough times selling our home and additional lot that we felt and of course told countless times by our inexperienced real estate agent, that we would “Definitely get at least $309K, but a long story short, believe us, we barely received $200K?
Those 32 years making so many things nice so a new and young family would enjoy our home that we no longer could endure using the stairs due to severe hip and knee issues.
So it “seemed” our bodies worked well and all of a sudden, we were “70” James and Ashley?
The one advice we have tried very hard to do, and believe us we are no “experts”, is to believe and trust The Good Lord!
We have been married for over 50 years, and we look back on the many good times, the amazing experiences with our 2 sons, and not what we do not have, but rather what we do have, and that is EACH OTHER!
That is our blessing from God, our true story in a “proverbial nutshell”, and we both agree you two deeply love one another and some day you will be able to look back as we are doing after watching your “part 1” video and feeling terrible for you, (and no doubt we still do guys), but you have each other and 2 simply amazing young ladies who have not even begun hardly, to make the next part of your journey, and you are still young!
A long way to go to be us at age “70”, and please just keep your wonderful and perfect attitude as we know with prayer, your upcoming adventure begins soon, and it no doubt will be filled with great big and happy smiles!
We are here with you and will pray for better things for you just as you are doing right now.
