- A woman who was stabbed Monday morning at a Metro station in Studio City has died at a local hospital, officials announced.

I’m happy that I moved back to the northeast. I mean I miss LA a lot, but man, it’s nice to not have to worry about stuff like this.
There's murder where you just moved to as well. You only hear a lot more about LA killings because it has way more people then where you're at.
It sucks. I LOVE visiting LA and spending time out there with family but its ridiculous at this point. Homeless and criminals run the place. No one will do anything.

I bought a car as soon as I could because I used to take the metro to work everyday. I saw how bad it is,the smell, listening to mentally I'll people talk to themselves. Too many people with mental health problems live in the city

LA City Council approved a $54M boost to fund LAPD officers who police on Metro last year...yet I only see a handful of them sitting in cars or texting and chatting outside the stations downtown (I take the metro to work 5 days a week) Metro ambassadors walk around and do absolutely nothing except call 911 which anyone could do if an altercation happens.

I take the metro everyday for work in LA and today i was pretty spooked. Had a guy threaten to kill and stab us, really crazy, yelling and all sorts of stuff. It was a long ten minutes till the next stop, but then he got off...
Maybe it was the same crazy guy. Or a different one- there's plenty.

I took LA metro twice, the first time I endured 30 minutes urine smell for a train (I drove 10 minutes from home to metro station and called an Uber after I arrived cause too far and hot to walk to designation), the second time a guy yelled at me while a police was in the cart and did nothing. So, no more metro for me; and my sincere sympathy to this victim.

Never take mass transportation, Metro, and MTA. Driving one’s own car.
