Time to experiment with mixed drinks again! I'm not a huge fan of mixing my whiskey, but to try and expand my horizons, I'm going to occasionally attempt a mixed drink. Here's how to make a whiskey ginger!

Rye and Ginger is a Canadian favourite. You mixed your drink too weak if you can taste more ginger than whisky. 1/2 and 1/2 will give you the taste you're looking for.
A little bit of lime will bring the whiskey through
Not a big fan of mix drinks either but give it a go with a subtle Japanese whisky and just a touch of a better quality ginger ale like Vernors. Pretty refreshing of a warm day. Cheers!
Have been watching your channel for a while...outstanding content!
Old Forester 100, a little ice, some ginger ale, and a slice of lime on hot day it pretty damn good.
i love hiskey and ginger ale always drink it this way.
This recipe with regular Seagram's and Maker's is my goto
The real art of Whisky drinking. Thanks
I just got into whiskey recently in the past 6 months I've really only been drinking crown Royal to be 100% honest because of how smooth it is I was recently given a bottle and I'm not sure exactly what it was I'd have to check but it's so much less smoother than the crown Royal I'm not used to it I drink the crown straight just on ice put this stuff I was having trouble getting it down but with a little tiny bit of ginger ale on top it really smooth it out I would recommend if you don't particularly like the whiskey your drink but I wouldn't mix it with good whiskey
If the sweet vermouth you used in the Manhattan is still good and you're willing to pick up a bottle of Campari, I'd love to see how you like the Boulevardier. I only learned of it recently even though I had all of the ingredients to make it for over a year. It's supposed to be equal parts, but I make mine bourbon-heavy (Campari is a bit bitter). Either an ounce and half or two ounces of bourbon, one ounce of Campari, one ounce of sweet vermouth.
BTW...the outtakes are gold...
Use a better ginger beer. I like Cock N Bull because it has the ginger spicy kick.
Can you make a review for Cavalry Last Stand Bourbon?
Ginger ale is good with scotch but I try to save that for the cheaper bottles.
I want that glass
I don't know if you have done a old fashioned on your show would like to see that in the future good stuff man !!
Thanks! I have done a video on an Old Fashioned, but I'm from Wisconsin... I found out very quickly that we make an Old Fashioned different than most other places! There will be an updated Old Fashioned video soon to represent a more traditional version, but here is the original I did... czcams.com/video/YvSfvV9zXCQ/video.html
I prefer ginger beer since it adds depth and spice.
it tastes better with extra smooth brandy
It is much better with bourbon
charles redhead bourbon and ginger beer argue with eachother, scotch and ginger beer actually work together, so yeah ur wrong, even tho I like bourbon more than scotch, it doesn’t work with ginger beer, ginger ale is shit btw
Bourbon is probably too sweet for it. It’s usually Canadian or Scotch, or Rye with this, and even the Scotch is usually mixed with plain soda water. Rye would work, I just think with the sugar in the Ginger Ale you want a dryer whiskey
Why are whiskey snobs so against mixing? I just got in to the hobby and God forbid you don't drink a certain whiskey or brand and you better drink it straight.
The background music almost sound like breaking bad intro
Why wouldn’t you use Ginger Beer?
Did you say Irish Block? The sound on my computer leaves a lot to be desired due to age. I've had mules, but never a "block".

You need to do a video, how to drink whisky like a gentleman. There are a few videos, on you tube would like to see you do your take on it.
I'll definitely add it to my list!! Thanks!
Not a fan of mixing. A chaser of ginger ale opens a world of flavors when tasting neat pours though.
Whiskey with splash of ginger beer
Ok so what’s I it?
i hadnt heard if this bevrage but i did start making making somthing i called a gingershine. no i wasnt using irish whiskey.
It's probably not that good to be drinking it with coffee
i love how you tried to be nice to your friend's wife. how you held back from saying 'bleh' after tasting it.
I wouldn’t use an Irish whiskey.. Jack Daniels works well.
What a silly duesch this guy is... The ice cube is the only thing good about this clip.
I clicked off once you stated you didn’t like Irish Whisky🤦🏻♂️🥃
Sorry dude HFCS or diet chemicals don't touch my whiskey so you lost me.
You really need to switch up the music.
I disagree... it’s very fitting to his channel. I feel like it’s perfect. It has a very bourbon-i-ness to it.
