Put some towers on the ceiling for the best Atmos😅😂🤣

When SVS Prime Elevation speakers are placed as Hight channels, the tweeter is below the woofer angled toward the setting area, not sure how you are installing them Joe. But they are fine for Atmos speakers in the Height position on the wall.
Can't wait to see Techno Dad's Focal setup, its gonna be a BEAST!!!👍

I made a video when I installed mine. I ceiling mounted mine and pointed down towards my ears front to back. When I reset them up in the next few weeks, I will angle them from the sides so I'm horizontally off-axis rather than vertically.

@@joentellOn the ceiling, that's interesting, never thought of that, cool!! I'll definitely check out your video, you got me curious now with ceiling placement, nice!

you guys should do a test and settle the issue instead of speculating.

I've been thinking about this topic. I have tons of space between my TV and couch, but there's a ceiling support beam right behind the couch with no actual wall till I get to the other side of the house. Was wanting to mount KEF Q350's up high on the front wall and then maybe in-ceiling speakers above the couch as my 4 atmos channels. Thoughts?

Or put them on a Shelf pointing up and ideally box them in with thin 6mm ply leaving a 12cm slit at the top put a 45 degree corner piece pointing down in the box at the top. that will give you tremendous bass from the smallest speaker easily can get down to 20 Hz flip the phase swap the wires on the terminals what will bring it in phase.

im about to mount my book shelfs from the ceiling right where the inceiling ones would go i th8ink it will be better than flush mounts because the angle can be exactly where you want it

Hey, did you end up mounting the bookshelves? I was thinking the same exact thing, while the elevation speakers may be easier to place on the wall, you can’t angle them towards MLP the same way as a bookshelf with a bracket. Would love to know how it went for you!

@@usmankhalid990 like a tard comment below towers on ceiling would be the best option for best sound but that's not realistically Gina happen for most due to cost of matching towers the high end atmos setups you see have just that but really my book shelf's are pretty good can handle what my amp can output no problem hard to place them perfect I've moved them once so far had them to far apart so many diff guidelines to follow all diff seams

There are plenty of bookshelves that have screw holes in it from the get go...
I have that, with a wallmount that alows me to angel both in height and sideways...the bookshelf is about 12 kilos, 6.5 and 1", ported box...clean down to 45 hz....

Atmosphere speakers are a ridiculous ripoff. You are absolutely getting less for more. These are for suckers

Just put the speaker against the wall pointing up and put a box over the top with the lid open of course
Yes you don't really need a tweeter single driver we better
