I am in a similar situation as you, mid level hearing loss (service related). I went with the Oticon Real 1 Minirite R. I have only had them one day so it will take some time to get used to them, but my initial thoughts are these are amazing. The straining, the missing out on conversation, even the stupid little sounds I was missing, wow what a difference!! I started out considering the OTC cheaper models, but I'm so glad I went with the high end units!! BT phone/tablet streaming, BT phone talking, they are configurable to my own hearing (I've lost mostly the highs). These things are amazing. Thanks for your video, you helped me to make the right decision!!

If you buy from an online site, who will then be servicing you regarding after-sales settings, configurations and potential problems? Why not just buy them from an audiologist office at full price which includes all the after-sales services for months/years?
