with the tangle grapple tech, you let go of the tangle when your initial acceleration reaches it peak which carries your momentum. holding on the tangle will cap your acceleration.

One out of my three Roses yesterday came with slideshot and opening shot. I upgraded to get enhanced perks. I’ve been waiting for this 🎉
Congrats, it took me forever to get my Rose with Slide/Explosive and 70 range. Well worth it though, I love this thing.

I didn't get two range on mine. It still only has 70 not 72 but i got the handling and stability. I got cheated. My Mercuial Overreach and Elsies got two range but my Relentless and Heliocentric didn't either. It never gave range before when crafted guns hit 20. I don't know why it is now.

They should of gave exalted truth enhanced perks. That thing is a stat monster.
I got full bore, stdy rounds, enhd slideshot, enhd opening shot, range mstrwrk, smooth grip. Stdy rounds might be the move cause of all range buff we get anyways it kinda seems redundant plus I get AE

I only got this exact roll with rangefinder back when it was good and never got the OS roll to drop sadly.
Rangefinder is still good. The only thing it doesn't affect is the damage drop off. It still stretches all of the cones and gives all of the other zoom benefits.

For Solar synergy I prefer Luna’s Howl over Rose. Also, a Distant Pull and Chaperone being in the same slot as Rose also sways me towards Luna’s here.

On hunter not positive if it works on other classes but I was able to do it in prismatic hunter
I have one with enhanced moving target and enhanced snapshot. It has 88 range, 52 stability and 77 handling. It’s a beast
88? Damn, I would be happy with 60 and something like slideshot, but I keep on getting 53 range rolls with reload masterwork 😢

How do you have 60 range with that roll? With corkscrew and accurized adding +15 range to the 43 base range, it should be 58.

Explosive sometimes can have lower damage output

i think opening shot is better since explosive payload got a nerf so its less range if ur using it, but explosive payload is still viable for flinching
It is going to largely be personal preference for 99% of players
Explosive is good with the tiny extra range but especially the screen flash on your opponents. I've lost plenty of ones from getting distracted from the explosive flash on my screen
I cant tell you how many grams i have opened trying to get this roll with 5/5 stats but man was i mad when i got it on my f2p on my first gram opening

Ive never understood why people like slideshot opening shot so much on handcannons. Both are only for the first shot and you only fully benefit from one of them because the range with both active goes way past 100. If you put the rest of your stats into handling and stability instead so you dont lose any range from slide and opening shot the gun will be ass for any shot after the fist. PLEASE someone explain if im missing something because it just doesnt make sense to me
slide shot is the best perk on any hand cannon it supports an extremely aggressive play style you literally don’t have to reload you can kill one slide into the second kill him slide into the third and so on i know it doesn’t sound that great but it’s very noticeable on top of that it gives greatly improved stability and range, opening shot i agree is for the accuracy of you are sliding before your shot but it’s better than ep which reduces range by 2 meters i think
So what’s the general consensus on Hunter resilience nowadays ? 20,30 or 40 if you can’t go higher ?
pretty sure 30 is a safe bet but 40 helps in certain situations

And it just the most snappy, quickest HC I've ever played with.
The range doesn't matter to me, being lightweight helps me with movement & positioning a lot more than I anticipated.
After range got normalized, I find myself just literally avoiding certain sections of a map with certain loadouts. So, in all... You're a much better player, I'd appreciate your opinion with that specific roll.

You noticed that after your first shot that weapon becomes a hc with 60 range right 😂 my roll at least had 73 range 🤷♂️ I get it, it’s close enough to be looked over since bungie stingey AF when it comes to getting only 7 rose as an ascendant player😡
60 range is enough, that’s the same as a max range spare rations hawkmoon and thorn. handling mw is one of the god rolls. a meter of range isn’t big
not to mention explosive payload decreases range by a meter and its one of the god roll perks so even if you get 70 range it’d basically be 60
