Love y'all

When you make these videos which are just taken and edited from others, I think you're missing that personal touch we appreciate from you- maybe you could take like 30 seconds at the beginning and/or end of each of that type video to introduce it, tell us where/ when it was shot [eg Elon interviewed by xyz in Brussels about AI] and we'll be happy.
Yo man are you using finasteride by any chance?
Glad you made this video. I was thinking exactly what you said in this video when I was reading the comments on the speechless video. I don't like the click baity over the top titles, but I get it. It's how the system works. You got to do what you got to do. I just don't want to be completely misled. I hate that I don't know when the interview was from until I scroll down and read the comments and somebody has to say it was from 2018 or something. Appreciate the transparency. Keep doing what your doing.
This video is prediction of speechless confrontation. 🧟♀️🧌
Actually, "speachless" didn't work on me. It made me not wanting to watch it because I thought it was a click bait.
Same.
Me too a little. But, I know Farzad and I trust him a lot…a LOT. Still, nobody including me is perfect. Free speech is also awesome! Lotsa love to all ❤❤❤
Yes, I didn't click the video because I read it and thought, what are the odds there is any confrontation in the video, and audiences are supposed to be speechless. Basically, I knew the video would not live up to the title, so it must be a boring video with nothing new to learn. Because if there was any thing new, it would be in the title instead of click bait. So I just skipped that one.
I felt the same way and haven't watched it either
I only clicked it to comment on the clickbait title, it was playing in the background, but I didn't watch it.
To be honest: i didn't even click on the video because I thought "meh, probably nothing new at all, and the title is an effort to still get people to watch it"
So yea... Personally, I'm more drawn to channels that state their case as-is. No exaggeration, no hyperbole, no sensationalism. But those channels are extremely rare.
They are rare because they are rarely popular, because of creators having to game the metrics.
Which I'll agree someone as popular as this channel should use it sparingly, the repetition of content in videos with clickbate titles will eventually lead to the fall of the channel because no one will trust the content.
dont watch it, nothing new if you watch elon interviews
Yeah same, but I don't blame Farzad for this. It's human nature.
They’re working for the algorithms…
You should of made the title
“New Elon Musk Interview June 2024, Shortened Version”
I would’ve clicked just as fast.
Definitely
*faster
So, I too am less inclined to click on certain titles, especially around Tesla, especially because of awful reporting by some media. I do look at Tesla stories a lot because I am a fan(boy?). I sat through the entire shareholder meeting and still watched to see what the CZcams community had to say about it. I generally appreciate your content, Farzad, but titles could be more helpful for those of us seeking information not sensationalism.
Should have
I would agree with the comment, but I also know that that views will be much lower. “I’ll still watch it” you say, but fewer people will actually be presented with the option in the first place.
CZcams is not always on Team Humanity, sadly.
You should title these kinds of videos, "Latest Elon interview - just the good parts". Then you'll get a lot more clicks.
Agree 100%
Yes, and the date. And what it's ABOUT.
DESCRIPTIVE titles ffs!
if you are subscribed, you don't watch the video because of the title, you watch because you know its quality content.
Yes, but… If the channel starts spamming, do you stay subscribed? I felt abused: a common sense channel can’t be clickbaiting that bad, there must be something… nope, pure clickbait…
Nope. I still don't watch clickbait titles videos, no matter who posts it. I rather take them out of the feed while thinking "Oh well, there goes another algorithm simp. Bye!"
and because they are delusional
Exactly!...but i think he may be hoping for More subbers to keep youtubby happy?
CZcams IS Changing,..& Not for the better..i know several Good people who are sinking into oblivion all cos..youtube demands they earn a certain quota or get buried..and that is crappy...youtube is getting Mega Greedy, not caring a fig for Value in content, but Advert $$$
Sure now they are blaming the platform/algorithm.. Quality content creators who stay away from these tactics may not grow their channel as quick, but it is appreciated and their subscribers will be more loyal. On the long run this is the way to go. Farzad does not need this shit.
Title for this video should have been: “Farzad Confronts Fans Leaving Them Speechless.”
The title on this video has left me speechless
From a scale of 1 to 10, how speechless are you.
@@farzynessTechnically it should be 0 if you are speachless. SPEECHLESS. SPEEEEEEECHLESS.
The comment on this video has left me SPEECHLESS
@@emerica187 I read your reaction on this comment and it left me SPEECHLESS
@@farzyness I literally can't say
I sort of agree about the speechless thing but I very much appreciate you posting these. You and your channel are great and have a lot of respect so no need to lure watches. Keep it up!
Sounds like a moral choice between truth and money.
I unsubscribe. Click bait is dime a dozen of dozens.
@@VilleWitt I don't get it. You want him to do all this work for free? That's not how life works unfortunately. You guys are acting like the title was ELON SAID SELL ALL YOUR SHARES. Speechless in the title was too click baitish??
@@trina2100There's obviously a HUGE difference between 'doing it for free' and maximizing profit BY LYING.

"SPEECHLESS" TITLE LEAVES VIDEO VIEWLESS!!
Appreciate the explanation, Farzad. And your videos. It was pretty obvious to me that using the words "speechless" or "shocks" in CZcams titles must raise viewership as they appear all out of proportion to the numbers of videos that actually shock me. Or leave me speechless.
As always, when it comes to advertising, we viewers have the power to end this trend. I have largely stopped clicking on videos with these key words in their titles. Similarly, I steer away from videos showing their creators staring just off camera with surprised or shocked looks on their faces.
So, how did I come to click on _this_ video? You've built enough trust with your audience (or at least me) that even if the title doesn't turn out to be particularly accurate, it will still be well produced and contain worthwhile content or analysis. And I was interested to hear your insights into the "speechless" phenomenon.
But to get back to my main point, we viewers can put an end to this annoying trend by simply avoiding videos with these bait words in their titles. By now, we all know they are unlikely to be all that shocking.
💯
Well Said
Nice to see you addressing this...I Hate clickbait and I think most people are tired of being duped by many CZcams videos. Using all caps also is what makes people expect accuracy of the title. Keep up the good work and let your content drive the views!
I appreciate the effort that goes in to those supercut interviews - get all the content and save time for the viewers
...and put a DESCRIPTIVE title on it.
Sensationalism and shock has always driven sales in reporting.
we kinda just get more disappointed, dare I say, disillusioned when trusted sources resort to these techniques for manipulation’s sake.
It’s a conundrum indeed because the metrics apparently validate this action.
Sucks for us
I rarely comment and post but I did want to say I appreciate the honesty and sincerity with this video, thank you for the transparency and looking forward to your future content!
"speechless".... so it's a 20 minute video of silence then?
Yeah just make sure mute is on.
@@farzyness😂😂😂
I assume every video title is playing to the algorithm, I didn't think anything of it. But this video shows the process works (mostly), thanks for the transparently. Thanks for the hard work, and keep up the great work!
The interviewer was a bit confrontational or direct at the start, but Elon was not. He was calm and collected.
Thanks for taking the time to address the controversy.
When we saw the title, we said ‘oh no, even Farzad has fallen into the clickbait trap’. SO disappointing 😢
We appreciate the content Farzad. Don’t stress too much
Yeppers!
I have to agree that your use of speechless today is more honest. Your audience is intelligent enough to understand your motives but collectively we deserve better. Hats off for breaking down your motives. The algorithm leave s me speechless 😂
Thanks for listening to the comments. Your viewers care! Great to see you do2
The 'engagement' came from the fact it was an Elon Musk interview, not the click bait title.
I unsubscribed because of the clickbait. Too many creators to stay for the clickbait.
Love your honesty and the reality of having a successful You tube channel. I appreciate your effort in bringing great content to my world.
I appreciate you addressing the feed back.
I didn’t love the title either, but as a whole I love your content.
I wonder if posting some shorter(less than 10-20minutes) might give your channel a boost.
Just add an asterisk at the end, so that you regular audience knows to take it with grain of salt
3:08. Yep, that's what makes it "click bait." It's not that the word describes the situation, it's that it "works." But here's the thing, the more it's abused, the less it will work in the future.
Clickbait is effective like petrol is effective, it's a dirty fuel, you may not notice the impacts right away
What a poor analogy. Clickbait isn't dangerous
@@jamesengland7461Extremely dangerous, Farzad can/may/will lose the viewers trust and credibility, if that is lost you are toasted.
THIS
@@jamesengland7461 I'd say the extreme divisiveness of our society, caused in part by the distortions of media platform algorithms, is very dangerous.
To complain about this only means you don't have real world problems. Be thankful!
now that you mention it, i actually remember asking myself "why this title? i don't get it?"
this content is very boring to me though
Thanks for addressing it openly.
I dont know about you guys, but whenever I see “dropped bombshell” in the tittle, I never open it 😂
Dito!
it worked because everyone clicked on it to comment that they hate the title.
This. 100%
Props to you for addressing this openly and for the insight into crafting video titles. Seems like you have a choice between your viewers hearts and minds (ie trust & credibility) or the algorithm. One is long term authentic steady growth, the other is viewer churn and a dog chasing its tail.
We all err from time to time, growth comes on trying to do better. Love your content and your personality Farzad.
Respect to you Farzad . As an old uneducated timer I’m starting to understand your intricate world.
Farzad - as a content creator, there's always a fine line in finding what works and what doesn't... what people engage with and what they click off quickly. We have the ability, as creators to see when people click off, the viewers do not. Your title was clickbait "ish", but your content overall is freakin' great and you get grace from me for that. Keep up the good work.
Facts
Nice job Farzad. I was one of the complainers about the title. BTW I won 2 Cannes Golden Lions so know that session. Really appreciated you listening and responding. Best to you and mommie and the family!
Haha, the one time I was like "whoa, Farzad... I'm not quite a fan of this." you made a video on it :P
The cuts in your video took out the tension when the confrontation happened in the interview, there was definitely a confrontation. But when I watched your version it didn't seem like there was a confrontation, no wonder people got mad, lol. You're doing great, I appreciate your work.
So glad that you created this video, Farzad. Clearly, you have a lot of fans. By taking the criticism and addressing it directly, you have underscored your value to the Tesla community. Bravo.
Thank you for explaining, I now understand why the whole Tesla community have started using "click baits" type thumb nails. Don't like it but understandable. No harm done. Carry on your good work.
Hi Farzad, I watch your videos not because of a specific title, but because I like your presentation and arguments a lot. The CZcams algorithm can be "strange" sometimes, so from my perspective using a "catchy title" is fair game, to get more visibility. by the way... It was very heart-warming to hear your son is "perfect" ❤
Please stop being apologetic for scummy behaviour. It's just pathetic. Be better.
Really appreciate your edits. It’s awesome.
Thank you for the transparency Farzad. I had no idea myself that youtube worked in this way for creators.
I think the only time Elon legit left the audience speechless was when he told advertisers to go F themselves. You could hear a collective gasp go out when he said that.
Yesterday's "Speechless" headline was unwarranted. Today's is hysterical... and why we love you -
Thanks for explaining how creators are incentivized to act unethically, and why they’ll likely continue to do so.
This is a great tutorial on how YT works and what YT creators do to get info out on this platform.
This is probably one of my favorite videos of yours, I love seeing the thought process and the analysis.
Thanks farzad. Very cool of you address this openly.
I love your channel Farzad, I appreciate your attempt to be more genuine with the titles of your videos.
it was the interviewer that “confronted
“ elon about his GFY comment
not other way around
The honesty and transparency and sheer will to continue to better yourself/channel and being unafraid to explain all of that publicly... I'm subscribing to you right now my friend. well done. People love authenticity.
Farzad, I appreciate how open and honest you are. Thank you!
Clearly you're not speechless
Your openness actually made me subscribe 👊🏼
Thanks for explaining. Personally, I thought the title was a bit over the line but I didn’t comment as such. I was also surprised by the strength of some of the comments, they were obviously far more bothered by it than I was! Keep up the good work :)
I didn't really fully understand what you were talking about when reading your comments on the spechless video. However looking at the analytics as you were reading the other titles, Its shocking how much more attractive those speechless titles are. Glad you're reaching a bigger audience, getting a good response and growing your subscriber count. You do you Farzad, continue to love the content. Amazing edits.
I will admit, the previous title was the first one I read the title of and did think it was somewhat misleading,. But I am sure it's a balancing act you can fix. :)
This is a great practical lesson in marketing anything... The metrics that you choose to measure may shoot you in the foot and cause you to miss what your audience/customers really want. Thanks, Farzad, for your transparency and honesty. I think the lesson is more than just what's broken and what works for CZcamsrs, but all of us who serve customers have something to learn here. I appreciate you even more after this.
A very thoughtful response to a delicate issue! So tricky to get right.
No, not at all tricky. Just stop prostituting yourself for clicks and views and focus on your content having DESCRIPTIVE titles.
Could. Not. Be. Simpler.
Speechless yet talked for 19 minutes… 😂 j/k love ya Farziness :)
You spent a lot of time apologizing for a crime you did not commit.
Love your special family. You are one of the good people.
Thank you Farzad. I enjoy your "edited" interviews with Elon. You also post the link to the full, unedited speech/interview. So I recognise the hard work you did to cut down and make the interview more concise. Yes, I just ignore the Titles and base my view on the subject ie Elon and hopefully, the date of the interview. Thanks again. Cheers.
Love your channel Farzad! My honest take: when I saw the "leaves audience SPEECHLESS" tag on the title 3 or 4 times the last few months, my thought was " C'mon Farzad, you're better than this!!". Thanks for leveling with your audience with transparency.
Keep doing what you are doing. Your content is the best.
Good on 'ya, Farzad.I think the main concern was that you and your channel present as fair, positive, honest, genuine. The title may not have been in line with it. Having said that, we watch because we trust and like you. I just got my THE ROBOTS ARE COMING t-shirt in the mail. Love it! LFG!! ⚡🚘🚀
I give you tons of credit to bring this up. Thanks for being professional.
It must suck having to juggle your livelihood and making people happy. Keep doing you Farzad. I listen to your content for the content and honestly don't even look at the title. You bring a great POV. Support your influencer people, he's got a newborn. ❤
You're chill Farzad, thanks for your contributions.
Not a CZcamsr, but I did appreciate your explanation of the metrics used to evaluate video content (especially from CZcams's perspective). I certainly did enjoy your entire video of the interview. But, yeah, I sure did not see much "confronting" or "speechlessness" either. Honestly, though, I have wondered why so many content creators paste their own pictures (with fake surprise or mouth-open) in the video icon. Often, especially if it is an interview, it is nice to see the people involved (looking serious, not silly), but otherwise I would prefer an icon accurately depicting the content as well as a good caption.
PS / Funny, though, I didn't realize you had edited the interview. Good job. I remember thinking, "Elon was feeling good and so well-prepared for this. He and the interviewer were talking just like people do, seriously and with little hesitation and few asides." Reminded me of Lex Fridman's interviews.
The irony is that CZcamsrs in this Tesla sphere criticise clickbait headlines in the mainstream, yet do the exact same thing, sometimes even worse.
We don't need clickbait headlines. We don't need any more help being dumbed down.
Content is king. Quality over quantity.
I love your content. I need your perspective. Please don't worry too much. To be fair I didn't care for the last video since it felt like click bate. You are awes😅me and value your insight. No one compares. I was disappointed and will keep following.
I liked the video, didnt think it was click bait, because you always give good content 😊😊 keep up the good work 😊
I truly appreciate your honesty 🤜🏼💯🤛🏼
You are trying your best, Farzad. Be proud of what you do and that you're tryin to hold to your ethics. Your edited/trimmed interviews are so valuable. You ensure that I don't miss any of Elon's interviews and you help Elon to get his message across. I'm subscribed and will stay. You should also mention again your charity work and that you're a newly minted father (respect, sir).
As someone that commented about clickbaitines, I must say your comeback and explanation is huge.
Also, I would apreciate if you try to pack in some datum info, because sometimes I get confused if I am watching something fresh or 10 years old...
Love your work, keep on!
Your channel is very invaluable and your work bringing us information on Tesla is appreciated
I never really thought much at all about the title of your video. I just saw you posted a new one so I watched it.
Just want to say, I love the cuts/condensed versions with improved audio that you do of Elons interviews. I apreciate it :)
You just showed me your a man and not a boy. This is really genuine and keeps me enjoying your channel
Respect for listening and responding.
I don't blame content creators for clickbait thumbnails anymore. It's really a human thing, and is ultimately the fault of the audience.
I forgive you. (briefly crossed my mind at the time then didn't care)
Your honesty made me subscribe... congrats!
On me, I must say, the "confronts" worked, up until I realized there was no confronting. Then it made me angry, that I fell for it. Still a good interview and good on you for shortening it. That's a lot of work - even with ai support. Thanks for thinking this through!
Very interesting dilemma, but I didn't even click on the video because I realized it was click bait with such a title.
Just give us dates. I have no idea when these interviews were done.
Dates are in the comments and description.
@farzyness not all the time, man. I do look for em. In the title would be kosher so we dont have to search. But i understand if that will hold back the algo. Just feel like i should have to search hard for it.
Agree here, some idea of the content or interview date so I know or not if I missed it or not
@@farzynessPut it in the title. I don't want to open every video suggestion to figure out whether its recent
Be descriptive about the content, please.
Your work is awesome dude
I am glad you made time to read, reflect, and respond to your audience's comments. CZcams is infested with misleading information about Tesla. Any serious CZcamsr should be wary of losing their credibility if they still have one worth protecting.
Farzad, the content of the video was great, nice job on the editing of the interview. Metrics probably would have been better with an accurate title. At the end of the day, there was no real confrontation between Elon Musk and the interviewer, and the audience wasn’t left speechless about anything. Using speechless in this context is almost like using “shocked”, which isn’t the case.
Like your channel, Farzad. Keep up the good work and catchy headlines. As far as I remember, headlines have always been somewhat sensational and should attract interest. Take this actual sports headline, “Tiger Woods plays with own balls, Nike says”. Imagine how many more read the story because of the amusing headline. 😊😮
Well explained, Farzad. It is nice to have someone explain openly the complexity of running a YT channel. I liked that video, but I have to admit the title was a bit incongruous to the content. Keep up the good work ... which is cherishing your family. I went through the family/self-employed balance battle some years ago, and know the difficulty. Good on you and yours.
I have to say that I generally enjoy your content. You are knowledgeable and friendly and present well. With regard to the titles you attach to your videos - I kinda run them through a filter in my mind. The CZcams algorithm affects everyone - everyone - so I can understand that you are motivated to use titles that draw attention.. ..I can respect that. I don't feel insulted. I hope that you can understand that there will be some folks who just don't complete watching a video that seems to not deliver on the promise made in the title. I hope you can respect that and not feel insulted.
Didn’t watch the video because “speechless” was in the title 🤷
I really appreciate your channel and the effort you put in cutting these interviews. While I understand that you want to grow your channel as fast as possible, you also need to choose if you want to be part of the click bait media or not. That decision will act as filter for your future audience.
Much love and respect ❤
This is the great irony of social media
Farzad, since you are genuine, its likely that most people trust that your videos are good even if the method of getting us to the video isn't due to youtube algorithm requirements.
This is one of the many reasons we love you. Rock on.
All your editing of videos is helpful and appreciated.
The title was misleading and felt clickbaity - but thanks for explaining. Your content has been good.
