They are both great games. I love fifa for its online gameplay and the fact that it has got a variety of modes that can mix things up also added is the fact that they have almost all relevant licenses. PES is great because it takes the most important elements seriously. I believe the gameplay here is unrivaled and the graphics speak for itself. The sidelines are alive. No more cardboard camera men. The atmosphere is great. The rooster for National teams is much biger than that of fifa.

I was a huge Winning Eleven fan since PS1. I loved everything about it. I always rooted for it and supported it while I hated FIFA. I just didnt like anything about it so I never even tried playing it in PS2 and PS3.
But its been a few months, I've been playing Fifa 12 with my friends and now Im starting to like it.The only reason I've started playing FIFA is because they didnt have PES. The more I play, the more I wanna play.
My view has completely changed. So now I cant choose just 1...

i wish both these games had the teams from south america... at least all national teams and not those that went to the world cup. Europa Cup, Copa America, Copa De Oro, should also be inclueded.... still waiting which team will prove best.... anyone that can help me decide which one to buy. more interested in the teams i could use also if there are from South America based teams...

Back in the days the PES engine was revolutionary and it was of a good standard but nowadays PES cant keep up with FIFA because FIFA has grown with the times and evolved in many ways, Gameplay, Options and even creation suite.

The graphics are getting a bit better in Pro evolution though, but since Winnin Eleven games it became Pro evolution. Fifa came out first but just look closely in the old fifa games the ball is always stuck when they are running. In Pro the ball goes every direction. Looks cheap but feels realistic.

if pes had the game engine of fifa but with most of their features (like master legue and stuff) then it would be beast ... in my opinion
i play pes...because my computer does not support fifa.....but now i've bought a new computer and i will definitely play fifa 12 in it and i think you're right!

FIFA is awesome because of how offense and defense take a realistic turn. But PES does have some better graphics. I'd say that if they both collided into one, it would be the best soccer game in history
