I have a vintage sewing machine (about the early 60s Singer) and have wanted to try this technique, but I couldn't find any information about how to use the foot. I especially appreciated the explanation about the pressure on the foot. I would like to see a video on how to determine pressure for regular stitching and see the effects on the stitch.

Thank you 🥰. Yes it's a makeshift oil wick I made out of red felt. The original oil wick popped out one day while I was treadling and fell between the floor boards 🤣 the red felt works well though.
