For $299, that 12 minute Benchy is pretty dang impressive.
It's $398 with shipping
@wolfi19680 it wasnt at the time. Now it is.
The Flashforge 5m is an awesome machine. I am glad you mentioned that! 😊
Just found out about this machine yesterday and here you are with an unboxing lmao. Thanks! Great as always.
shipping is currently 100$! i finally decided to buy it, and was sad to see that gotcha.. hope when their US warehouse is online that will change, but for now this is a 400$ printer...
Does anyone know where to find more information on the MKS SKIPR Mini? My online searches are yielding me limited results.
After going through 8 different brands, I standardized on #IIIDMax PLA+ for my prototype mechanical parts. Using Sovol SV06 and SV07 printers with near 0 failures. If you guys are looking for a stable product line, IIIDMax is definitely a good choice.
i've been using and loving their white. i like one or two of their colors, but the rest i find a bit bland. and their black discolors more than other brands when printed at different speeds: narrow layers are noticeably shinier on prints. I will probably buy another 10 pack, but it might just all be white..
@@Voidroamer Try the Space Gray if you're painting the prints. I also like the Candy Red for standout assembly parts.
For the price? WOW!
Ok, I did order one of these printers but this is a general 3D printer question. Can I lay down a printed circuit pattern on a blank PCB, wash the excess conductive material off 😮as usual, then wash the 3D printed material off and have a finished PCB?
That’s a great question. I have zero clue. 😂
I ordered one of these printers a week ago, and since I haven’t heard anything I sent an inquiry. This was their reply:
“Hello Dear, Happy to received your order, and Dear, your order will send within 15 days by UPS. sincerely sorry for your wait.”😂
@@Sonny_Eclipse how did it go?
How is the noise of the TX compared to Bambulab P1S and A1?
Judging by images on their website, it looks like the same extruder FlyingBear printers are using, is this correct? How would you rate the extruder? And how does the whole assembly seem to you, as in, would it be easy to change/upgrade parts? I'm highly intrigued by this printer, but there almost not videos on it...
This machine IS a FlyingBear machine. It’s under the sister company name Infimech. This is their upgraded extruder with new gearing and a lighter extruder motor.
The chassis seems extremely robust and has channels on it for mounting. Accessories and replacement parts are available of their site. It’s VERY intriguing.
Im still testing it as Ive only had it for a few days.
@@3DPrintSOS Thank you! I hope you'll make a review video of it, I tried but can't watch the whole live stream video, even though you are presenting it quite well. FlyingBear really deserve more spotlight.
@@astrumrocket6556 I will definitely be testing the machine and making a review. I need to spend a few weeks with it to really get a feel for what it’s about.
What is the deal with it extruding/purge filament out the front?
$299 is a real challenge. I am impressed.
I knew flying bear had something to do with this
What new camera system are you running? I am starting out, have an old Canon M50 but am saving up for a Sony IV.
For my Live streams I use OBSBot 4k gimbaled cameras and a LUMIX S5II as my camera for videos
I am looking for a desktop core x/y printer for PLA. The website list the "TX Dimensions: 490*490*590 mm³" is this the actual dimensions of the machine or its packaging? If its the machine size the K1C's packaging would fit inside it. Its almost 6 inches wider and deeper then the K1C? That would be a deal breaker but I cannot confirm
That’s the packaging. The machine is very compact. It’s taller than the K1C but slim. I don’t have either in front of me to measure, but that dimension is VERY padded shipping box.
Thanks! I took a look at the 5M dimensions that are close to the K1s so I figured it must be that package size. Going over their site, it's no surprise they don't list physical size . Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts as you run it
Wow....impressive for the price😳..."Shipping method
Shipping not available
Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address...." Bummer😖
Dang. That is a bummer. :(
Also I see that flying bear launched the reborn 3 any news on that?
I didnt even know about Infimech when I messaged them about the Reborn 3 but they basically said, that infimech was going to be for the US market and the Flying Bear was going to be for “world”. So they sent the TX instead.
@@3DPrintSOS hm ironing out logistics I see. Thanks for the great videos, wish you all the best.
What kind of nozzle does it have? I may have missed that. Somone said it has a Volcno nozzle. Is that true?
This is also the FlyingBear S1
That’s correct. It’s only been available via their AliExpress store though. Unless they did an official launch.
Now that you've had this for a bit longer any new thoughts? This vs. Q1 Pro vs. Adventurer 5m?
Q1 is more capable. The heater and its great UI are big pluses. I’m not mad at the TX though. Tge 5M not being enclosed is a bit lacking in that regard. But for PLA and tpu it’s great. So I don’t think you’d do bad with either.
@@3DPrintSOSthanks! I'll probably go with the TX since it's only $300 and I don't love the concept of the more proprietary parts for the flash forge.
You'd say same quality between them all once tuned/calibrated?
@@3DPrintSOSeither will be a huge leap over my ender 3 V2 lol
@@peterspinuzzi9695 they are pretty damn close. The TX was overextruding a bit. With the flow at 92% it was printing way better smoother.
What do they mean by VAT excluded ? On their page
Tell them to send one my way lol, looks pretty legit...
Received mine today 30/4 door was smashed , packaging was very inadequate. Single wall box zero protection in front of door ???
Be warned if ordering your glass may be broken . Quality otherwise is pretty good .
Oh man. That sounds like the same issue Creality had with their glass doors. Sorry to hear it. Hoping infimech can send you a replacement!
They are going to send a new one , not hopeful it will arrive intact.
So far can’t complain about print quality.. equal to my old bambu.
it gets worse, went to replace nozzle with hardened steel and snapped hot end right off .... no replacements available yet.
Probably would have printed even better with the calibration done first. Impressive for the $
Well the resonance was just fine, the first layer was near perfect…so the calibration it needs is for flow and maybe rotation distance. Since it didnt hold my hand through a walkthrough like some manufacturers do, I thought it was appropriate to SEND IT. ;) haha
Yes understood
This one or try to buy SV08 for early bird price?
Cant speak on the SV08 because I dont have one. They are quite different. 350 open vs 220 enclosed. Do you need to print larger?
Larger not on regular basis but it’s way better to know that you can make it then not. Also right now I’m only using pla and petg so no need for enclosure. But my main question is it adequate to pay 200 more for extra features SV08 have. I mean flying gantry, 4 z motors, linear rails and as far as I know sovol toolhead is superior to flying bear
Little concern with SV08 is inductive probe but I really want to try Cartographer Probe v3 so no big problem
@@BeegeBOOs Postage on the Sovol is likely to be much less so factor that in.
I mean for $300 before shipping and tax that's kind of a hard machine to top.
Id like to think of us more as Milking Buddies rather than fedorites im not a spawn of ferdo but i do enjoy some good milking.
Chad is back in his bag
What bag? i quit smoking 3 years ago i swear. I gave up the lettuce and went hard in the milk
$99 USD postage to Australia spoils the deal.
Ordered a 5M for 240 and I see this video. Should I regret😅
Has anyone else actually gotten their printer
Never heard of this company. Interesting? Worth a look.- OOPs Ok flying bear I have heard of
Yup. Sister company to FlyingBear focused more on the “west" market vs global.
Shipping is $100
So its a good deal for the $300? I dont need another printer but seems this seems almost too good to be true
I know right. that’s why I had the reaction I did. Seems crazy for 300. makes me wonder about the upcharge on other machines!
@@3DPrintSOSI've actually even emailed them about the accessories, as I would like the camera and they emailed me back in 2 hours. That pretty good! Honestly tho, I have grown to absolutely love my Qidi Q1 so I might wait and just get another one of those. Just worry that sometimes these printers get discontinued if they don't sell many and coming from a new company. I'll see if anyone else has one for review. Love the videos!
WOW A CORE XY FOR 299!
It's 398 with shipping
why you dont have a bambu printer?
For many reasons. However, I have the A1 mini combo and X1C Combo to unbox soon because my subscribers so often ask about them.
I used to watch all printer reviews but since I got my X1 Carbon the cheaper machines no longer seem to interest me, however, this piqued my interest!
You might want to start watching again, your $1500 X1C is now falling behind machines 1/3 that price. And once the K2 comes out, your machine will be antiquated and blown out of the water 😂
@@anthonylong5870 Its not, still havn't seen one single printer that can match X1C/P1S in the full plug n play quality (and with MMU) experience. That is what you are paying for, not having to do any modifications by yourself, just print. And no, I don't own any bambulab machines a.t.m. but I like tinkering.
@@anthonylong5870Sounds like someone’s not a fan of the X1 Carbon? X1 Carbon still on top.
@@anthonylong5870 But how many iterations of the K2 will it take before Creality get a working machine?
Do you think Bambu Lab are sitting idle?
Which printer 1/3 the price of an X1 Carbon has multi colour & multi material capabilities?
@@AndrewAHayes Ill play this game. Can you tell me 1 Bambu printer (including your X1C) that has a heated chamber, 300mm build plate, can go 600mm/s , has live motion remote camera, a motorized nozzle wiper and hardened gears??? Yeah , like i said Bambu is antiquated and being left behind. The ONLY thing they have is the AMS and they are living on that. They have no upgraded machines being developed and in 3 weeks other companies will start coming out with AMS units that are IMPROVED design.
This guy is drunk.
C’mon now.
This one or the Flashforge Adventurer 5M?
If you want more open and less proprietary, this. If you don’t mind buying only from the manufacturer for parts and wearables, Flashforge.
@@3DPrintSOSwhat about print quality, it looked like the adventurer had better prints
all the accessories are sold out in their eu store :(
