I very much hope they do Donna Noble justice this time. Even if she dies - which IMHO is typically a lazy way to wring pathos out of a script - then at least have her go out saving the day. And if she doesn't die, then let her become an unstoppable force for good, in the way that a brave leader can change their community.

I'm SUPER nervous about not liking Donna's goodbye this time around. Also, I'm really glad they took all the Asian slurs and stereotypes out of NPH's character. And Wilf's last outing. I'm gonna cry I think....
How is celestial an Asian slur? Words can have more than one meaning and celestial means anything to do with space/the stars or anything mystical etc, which is incredibly fitting for the character. Also, there have been characters called celestials in Marvel AND Doctor Who itself in the last few years.
@@IlikeTrainsguy100 If he was called the Celestial Toymaker and dressed as anything BUT an Imperial-era Chinese palace official, then you might have a point. But it's clear the character is dressed Chinese. And "Celestial" is a slur referring to Chinese people from the first half of the 20th century.
They really got a bigger budget for this new era I'm looking forward to the specials when they arrive, personally I'm not hyped about David Tennant returning I think he's had his time I am however looking forward to the Ncuti era I'm ready for something new but never the less I think the specials will be fantastic I hope.
Not really hyped about Tennant's return tbh as I've grown a bit tired of him over the years. More interested in the return of Donna, Sylvia and especially Wilf as Bernard Cribbins filmed his scenes before he passed away. And also this new take on the Celestial Toymaker.
