Just retwatched the trailer. Not sure I even care anymore that it didn't have any big reveals, it's just such a cool trailer!
At this point, I don't need any more reveals. After so many amazing moments from the Moffat era that got spoiled in a press release 6 months before, I'm more than happy with them showing us very little footage other than the stuff we'd already seen being filmed.
True RTD is making us think that Donna is gonna die. Maybe she is not. Donna deserves happyness

@@TheNerdyBrit definitely a series them, interlinked with a story like the Dalek cut away segments in more than 30 years.
The trailer was amazing indeed is far beyond Jodie's era in visual. Look like big budget movie in some parts. Ncuti era will have a big budget so the show is gonna look stunning. But sure I prefer a good writting then just a beautiful look is a bonus. I'm so hyped for this specials

this is my theory on the 60th Anniversary Specials. The reason 14th Doctor has the tenth doctors face is because of Toymaster is creating his celestial world around Donna why Donna because she had energy in her after "The End Of Time" If she see me she will die ?
The getout is he the 14th Doctor not the 10th ? but with the Ten face on but this all illusion created within the realm of The Toymaker. What the 14th Doctor works out in "The giggle" is being played the whole time in the World and if he wins the game he destroys the world which obviously include Donna and everything in the Toymaster realm.
It truly thrills me to see people reacting to that exquisite trailer.

I just keep reqatching it, it's so amazing, I absolutely love it!!! I really hope Russel pulls the rug out from under us at the last second though, and like, maybe it looks like Donna's gonna die, but then 14 somehow saves her anyways, cuz I really don't want Donna to die. This thing where companions have to die is only a recent thing, like as recent as Adric, and now it feels compulsory to kill the companion, people even throwing a fit about Clara. Before, it wasn't like that. Ian and Barbara didn't die, Jamie didn't die, Sarah Jane didn't die, nor did Jo, and I'm pretty sure Liz didn't die either, Tegan and Ace didn't die, Mel didn't die, why in nuwho do they all gotta die? Rose aside, Martha became a soldier, iur Donna essentially died, until now, Amy and Rory died, Clara died, a ton, Bill died, Nardole died, River died, 13 didn't kill off too much, but that was probably Chibnals doing, being a classic fan. I dunno, what do you think Nerdy Brit? Do companions have to die, and should we expect companions to die, or do you think it's ok to have companions that don't die, and what do you think the peime frequency of companion death should be for the show?
Yeah Donna dying wouldn't be satisfying at all
The only companions in New Who to die are Amy, Rory and Clara, none of which were tragic. Two of them died of old age after living full happy lives, the other is immortal until she decides she's ready. Bill and Nardole didn't die. If you're referring to Twice Upon a Time that only indicates that they will die eventually because everyone will. River lives on in the Library. No New Who companion has died in any tragic way without there being a, 'but wait, there's more...'
I'm not begging for all companions to die, but I would like one writer, just once, to just allow death to bee a tragic permanent thing. It's the backpedalling that annoys me more than the lack of death. If you're going to kill a companion, either go all the way or don't bother. Companion deaths may have been rare in Classic Who, but at least the writers allowed death to be tragic.
We've had to endure some crap for a few years, and now FINALLY proper Who returns. Can't wait!

Nah...the trailer was awesome, Tennat is my favorite "new" Who and I have always liked Donna as a companion, but I won't be catfished back into the show only to get gut punched again. I've been watching Dr Who since the original Tom Baker days and they have destroyed it for us old timers. You newbies can have what it's become.

I'm sorry, but I can't enjoy the trailer when you show it backward. It takes me out of it, having already watched it the right way around. I've been watching Doctor Who since November 1963, and I need to see my show as good as it can be when someone shows footage.
