    What are your thoughts about this TV? Do you think “lifestyle” TVs are going to become a thing with manufacturers and consumers shifting in that direction?

      I do. I feel like with interior design becoming more popular, people will want a TV that more encapsulates their style, whatever that may be. And this SERIF looks like that perfect fit for any style.

      Found it!! While viewing the show, click the bottom circle on the Serif remote, a menu appears which includes subtitles options. Can access subtitles for each app this way.

    Nice review, my country Indonesia is currently selling the 50 inch variant at around 630 USD. Still choosing which soundbar to pair with this TV.

    Just bought a 65 inch one.
    Lovely tv. Put the sound bar on top of the TV.
    What decision led me to get the tv was that it had a solid WHITE frame around it. Everyone else is committed to selling black bordering tvs, and I am sick of it. Delight to use and to watch.

    How is the bass response from the speakers? I previously had the Frame 2020 and I was pretty impressed with its bass response from the tv speakers themselves. According to the specs, the Frame 2020 had a 2.2 channel design that included a "woofer". I think this means it had 2 regular speakers plus 2 woofers. Unfortunately, that tv died on me 2 years after purchase. Luckily, my extended warranty covered the cost, but I was left with selecting the Serif 2022 as its replacement. The specs on this one states it has 4 speakers, but no mention of any woofers. I also see that the new Serif also had Object Tracking sound. I am thinking that the 2 woofers from my previous Frame 2020 were replaced by 4 of the same speakers in order for the Object Tracking effects to work... but I am wondering at what possible cost to the low end or bass response? Even without a soundbar, the low end on the Frame 2020 even on Spotify would periodically vibrate my floor or couch! Do you have any thoughts on this? I am hoping the Serif 2022 in 55 inch will not have a thin sound. Thanks. 😃📺

      Hey thanks for watching and apologies for the late reply..
      I do not like the screen edge bleed (Typical with LED panel TVs). Unnoticeable unless you've seen what OLED TVs look like as they don't have this problem since each pixel is self-illuminating. Other than that the, TV has been a gem when turned on or off.

    Thank you for the full review that I needed to know before I buy. do you think all this feature is on the frame TV as well? I like the serif because It has ambient mode while playing music. However, it seems too short. Do you think they have extension legs? For the frame TV, I like its look better than the serif and the downside is, it cannot play music while on an ambient mode like the serif does. Lol. plus the studio stand is an extra 300. Still deciding which one should I buy. Do you have any recommendations?

    How easy is it for this to topple over if just placed on a surface - toddler concerns

    • @ITechedUp
      @ITechedUp  Před 2 lety +2

      I tested this for you my friend as I have a 3-year-old toddler...The answer is it will not topple over easily! Unless you place it in the center of a room and have the toddler jump on it.
      It's flat on the bottom and the base is long and wide(more than 10 inches wide except towards the left and right of the base slightly thinner).
      In fact, I didn't have use for the other 43" Serif I have and it sat on the floor next to a wall for months and we all pumped into it and it never toppled.

      Looks like the 2020 model based on the remote. I just got a 2022 model a few days ago and it ships with a newer, slimmer remote with solar panel charging on it.

      @nowa9346 Před 2 lety

      The edits need to be clean and seamless, your edits and transitions right now are super obtrusive and make me flinch even(not really but you get the point). There's a ton of content to watch to learn about certain things like cinematography and broll that will also elevate the quality as well. Tech channels I would look at for inspiration would be Marques Brownlee, RandomFrankP, and Optimum tech.
