Short Video: Getting Rescued off a Broken DART Blue Line Train

[Taken December 2, 2023] Ever wondered what happens if a DART train breaks down between stations? This scenario happened when I was with a group participating in the "All Station Tour 2023." The train suffered an air leak and stopped about a mile northwest of Mockingbird Station. Dispatch decided to send the train behind us on the adjacent track to come pick us up instead of waiting to be towed, so we got the rare opportunity to step foot on the bridge.

Must have been an interesting experience. Not everyone gets to tranfer trains outside of stations.
Then again, not a lot of people use transit. Just means that experience is even more rare.
