If you guys having a macbook error which says support.apple.com/mac/Startup. -1008F you can follow the video step by step and you will be able to get in the recovery mode.

EDIT: If your mac is listed in your iCloud account this error is thrown! You need to delete/remove your mac from iCloud and then you will be able to proceed. Not only that but when you recover your mac you need to use option+command+R, otherwise you will still see 1008F error even after removing the mac from iCloud! In my case i get the -1008F error Then I power off, black screen, I turn it on and hold "options" key. Mac loads but I do not see the icon for the hard drive. Only I see is "network", I connect to wireless Then I hold option, control and R at the same time and I am redirected to a screen where I see a blue sphere /planet. I do not see the black and white 'world'. No progress bar or nothing. It is just a blue sphere with white lines around it.

I had a mac for a while, gave it a try, but didn't really like it and sold it. Hey Gab, I do understand that you are having a problem installing the OS but in your case the software or the hardware isn't the issue the problem is the internet connection. if you have problem in internet please call your support or the alternative way is that you can go friend house and download it or any public library that will solve the issue of internet connection.
GUYS I'm now getting it to work via a bit adaption from Chaudhary's case for Monterey! It seems that you gotta quickly press opt+command+R as soon as you are connected to the network, before the blue Internet recovery entrance shows

There is problem with internet connection on your side try checking the internet or connect with a different internet connection it will solve the problem

I booted to activation page but due to some reasons i rebooted the device from that time it never boot to activation page again

Repeat the steps. Sometimes, you just bypass the drive to store or other steps, so if you repeat the steps, I think it will work

There might be problem with internet connection. Did you try another internet connection just make sure if there is a problem or not.
