I have been riding electric scooters for the last 2 years over 3000km and all of these accidents, definitely rider faults, especially the first and last one. Also, 2 people in one electric scooter, that's asking for disaster.

It’s people being ridiculously clumsy. I’ve only been riding for 2 months by now and I haven’t crashed at all. I’m not the overly careful slow 5kmh driver at all.
You're on a tiny vehicle, if you follow the road rules and drive like the entire planet is going to kill you you're going to be fine. That guy making a turn in the middle of the road is just pure stupid.
The last one I do not agree. It's strictly forbidden to pass a car when approaching a crosswalk or crossroad --> 100% idiot car driver. I agree for all the other ones. It's like if riding a scooter would disconnect the brains for most riders nowadays.
the person in the last one, yes, they are up for a Darwin award, but the car that hit them sped up so that it didnt have to wait for the two pedestrians. The car should have been slowing down at that point.

The problem with E scooters is not the scooters, but people's waftalong brain in control of a vehicle. It seems that awareness goes out the window with scooters for some reason

e scooters have a terrible turning radius and no way to see behind themselves, total fad just get a bicycle

C'mon now. Two people riding on one scooter? This is one of the many reasons why E-scooters haven't been completely legalized in the UK yet.
Once legal then you'll have the morons take to the scooter. It's almost better to keep the strict laws in place and do a soft enforcement, that way more riders are careful.

I always been wanting one of these to save money and make life more convenient. My co worker and I had a discussion about this and told me don't always try to cheat the system because your safety is more important.
i have had e scooter for 2 years now, and i havent been in any single accident. I go 50kmh on straight roads, and whenever i see someone walking past me i slow down, and i always stop at the zebra stop or whatever it is

@Landver E is absolutely right 50kmh is absolutely Ok, if you go with the traffic. I live in a very small town and in a 20mile radius there is nothing. So if I go over a completely empty Country Road nobody gets hurt. If I'm driving my "big" scooter in the city always with the 25kmh speed limit and on the bike path. I almost had one Accident when a biker drove on the wrong side of the street around the corner. But learned from that.
the system is a cheat by defenition. Just don't get caught is the key.. because rules for thee but not for them.

I had a nasty fall when I was 9 and I was bleeding EVERYWHERE esppecially my knees, it hurt so bad but I didn’t give up riding.
same i fell on a curb and there was a brick wall so i hit my knee on there it was bleeding so much i stopped riding for 2 months because i was traumatised but i’m good now and im still riding

I'm almost 50 years old, disabled, and writing a Kick Scooter is my only form of transportation in the last 3 years. A combined of almost 50,000 mi. One accident because someone in the van was looking at his phone instead of the road. It's just like with motorcycles or anything else. There's always going to be a few idiots messing it up for everyone else. And you're always going to have a state or government trying to extort money out of you anyway they can possibly that's what it's really all about . How dare you do something in your life without giving us a cut of money for it LOL screw the system

E-Roller sind auch nicht zu unterschätzen ist halt so einige können nicht fahren oder fahren wie die gestörten und dann werden alle in den gleichen Topf geworfen beim E-Roller fahren musst du voll fokussiert sein du siehst nichts mehr außer den Verkehr
@@CcCPostalDude zu zweit oder zu dritt auf 🛴 ist nicht unbedingt das gefährliche die können nicht mehr so schnell fahren weil man eben nicht mehr so stabil steht wenn mehrere Leute oben sind aber die sind auch Spindel dürr sonst würden sie nicht drauf passen dann redet ihr es sich die Gefahr etwas aber trotzdem schwankt alles bei mir Personen drauf sind
Das wirklich gefährliche sind die Leute die sich einen das erste Mal leihen denn die Teile sind nicht so unterschätzen ich habe zum Beispiel den Ninebot G30 Max ich mit 120 Kilo brauchen da Stufe es gerade mal zwei Sekunden von 0 auf der Höchstgeschwindigkeit dann kannst du dir ausrechnen wie schnell eine Person mit 50 oder 60 Kilo die volle Geschwindigkeit erreicht du kannst gerne von Fahrrad das E-Bike umsteigen kein Problem bleibt ein Fahrrad aber hab so ein Teil da musst du erst mal fahren lernen ich habe meine erste Fahrt wenn ich ihn gekauft habe am Fahrradweg den Fluss entlang gemacht wo du von der einen Stadt in die andere fährst heißt die Kilometer geradeaus wo wenig Ampeln wenig Kreuzungen sind und erst wenn ich diese Fahrt gemacht habe habe ich es am nächsten Tag gewagt in der Stadt Industrie zu ohne und überall doch zu fahren wo spielt Verkehr und Kreuzungen sind und das ist leider das Problem dass sich jeder einen ausleihen kann
Aber wenn du es mal damit umgehen kannst und richtig fahren das sind die Teile viel sicherer als ein E-Bike oder Fahrrad weil du bei sehr viele Situationen besser ausweichen und regieren kannst vor allem durch die eingebaute Motor Bremse das viel angenehmer unsicher fahren ich fahre selbst die 15 km bei mir von Berg täglich zur Arbeit weil du hast keinen Bremsen Verschleiß mehr so wie beim E-Bike du brauchst einfach das Gas loslassen und dann bremst es dich extrem zurück öffnest du das Gas leicht ein Millimeter erreicht du eine maximal Geschwindigkeit von 35 km aber Ablass ich das Gas wieder los Remmers auf 20 oder 10 km h zurück je nach Steigung und das ist einfach das Beste deshalb sind auf nur deine geeignet ist halt geschmackssache die eine Motor Bremse besitzen nicht jede Marke hat einen stark motorsense da ist Ninebot der beste Anbieter wenn man sowas sucht ich werde mir im Laufe der Jahre noch zweimal das Premium Modell kaufen das ich zwei Stück davon habe zu hast du immer einen der funktioniert wenn der eine Ausfahrt und der hat dann vorne wie hinten scheibenbremsen plus Motor Bremse das du alle den ich habe der hat zwar vor nein du eine trommelbremse und Hintern die elektromagnetische funktioniert aber trotzdem extrem gut weil die Motor Bremse immer extrem stark ist wenn man das Gas loslässt ist sie schon mal aktiviert und wenn man den Bremshebel drückt dann greift sie noch mal deutlich mehr aber das musst du halt in der App auf die maximale Stufe stellen das sie eine gute Wirkung hat

big difference between an electric scooter and an electric bicycle is that the bicycle does not move itself, it's just an assistance, while an e scooter doesn't need you to give any mechanical input, which makes it way more dangerous imo.
E scooters, bicycles and e skateboards don't need license like cars do.
Bicycle riders DO have a licence. But just like others we make mistakes as well.
