looking good man a tip i have for you if you haven’t heard it already is try pushing the board backwards on the ollie and try pressing your body weight into the board more for the snappy pop also having more pressure on my front foot helped my ollies get better much love and the dedication you have is admirable
@@jorgyspeed6 yeah sorry for being so late to reply but yeah push down hard with both your feet to get a stronger pop you can feel the board a lot more
If that doesn't work for you, try to think of it differently, but basically the same advice. jump forwards to stay over the board, this same thing will apply when you move on to kick flips and shuvits, jump in the direction your pushing the board/push the board in the direction that would keep it under you.
keep it up bro! i also have a small tip, try to focus on keeping your back a little more straight and basically just squating! an ollie and many other tricks are literally all in your legs, it’ll end up being easier to do if your not getting your whole body as involved
I'm working on that.. it's a horrible hard habit to break.. I have improved on that since my first video (I hope).. thank you for the tip.. every bit of advice helps 🤘
Hell yeah man, a couple friendly tips for getting comfortable on your board, try standing on the bolts and jumping as high as you can until your knees are at your chest before you land back on the board, then do it moving, then over small obstacles.. also like bracing one or both hands on a hand rail and practicing your technique is a good way to get the feel of how your feet should be moving without the support. Keep it up dude
Im 15 and started 4 months ago and I already know how to ollie im not very good but a tip i suggest is lifting the back foot up more then sliding the front foot
That's awesome.. congratulations.. thank you for the tip.. I'm slowly getting there.. it almost seems that re-learning is tougher than initially learning because you know you should be able to pick right back up, but it's tougher.. skate on 🤘
I found out recently the trick to Ollie’s is literally just sliding your front foot up. Use your knee to bring your leg up, and not your foot. I let my foot limp until it gets to the top, then then put weight on it
@@jorgyspeed6 idk if that works though. It’s kinda what I’ve just noticed improved mine. And to put weight on the heels, then flick with your back foot to get a better pop.
hell yeah dude, now just slowly start to get higher and higher. try riding around and popping random ones to get really comfortable with them. my only issue i see is youre not jumping high enough for full potential. so just slowly incorporate that and learn how to bone them out better and they will be beautiful
also remember to keep that weight center. i had a similar issue when i started. you kinda shift your weight to your back foot sometimes. dont stress on it, just keep it in mind when practicing. last thing, remember youre just jumping off the board. your back foot isnt going down with the tail, instead you should be jumping off of it and flicking your foot down for the pop. practice and in around a month or two they should look better!
@@jorgyspeed6 bruh wheel bite and primo have been my only two injuries 😂 the primo seems to come back the moment after you recover. I did a shuvit off of a 1ft tall concrete block. I thought I would be alright to do 3 feet cuz I didn’t feel scared too. Turns out you can’t control your board as easy in the air. Who would’ve though 😂😅
I've been noticing that.. every so often (only when I am not being watched/recorded) I pop a really good one.. just gotta stop trying to impress the camera and do it as if nobody is there.. 🤘
right on time man, this inspire me..
I'm happy to hear that.. skate on brother 🤘

More pressure before you pop?

@@jorgyspeed6 you gotta put all of your weight, and spread it evenly on the board to avoid it

Just need to jump up with that back foot, brother. That's the only thing keeping your board low.
