Yeah I just do a slight little combo with my feet and just hangout until the board lands back down. Some people really be off the pre-workout trying a damn 360 flip😂
Some people are good skaters but horrendous teachers. Sorry Matt, you don’t scoop backwards, you scoop to the opposite side and forwards if anything, then pull your foot back. Your front foot also has next to no bearing on a tre flip, as you can see in this video, you scoop vertically and forward THEN move your back foot back slightly to catch. Watch how he does a tre flip, but don’t listen to him if that makes sense 😂
Dude, there are a lot of ways to Tre, but this guy is not wrong. P Rod has this same kind of video and says the same things! You’re describing a pressure flip style of Tre, this is the flicked style. People should try both to see which works better, I can get the flips better and more popped the way you describe but I can land this style more consistently!
@user-dj9iu2et3r nope he scooped forward, which is how you should, but some people think the are scooping back when you really are scooping forward with the snap of the ankle
What's the trick to getting the board to not fall behind you. When I don't land them usually it's because it's behind me and my back foot lands where my front foot should
BEAUTIFUL FLIP

Hip extensors or abduction
They always say "scoop back" but then they clearly scoop forward in a circular motion
He clearly scooped in get direction of his backside I don’t know what you’re confused about.
