- The camera of my Iphone X Max has turned into a bit of a jello and Quadlock is here to the rescue.
I was concerned that the much taller stack of Quadlock gadgetry will sit weird on the dash and wont be as streamlined but it worked out perfectly. I've been using Quadlock for the last 5+ years and have had zero issues - I HIGHLY recommend it. I find that riding with the GPS is invaluable for exploration and know when you arrive at the destination - I'm almost obsessive with the stats so a Quadlock setup right in my face is exactly what I need in my life. Hey, another question regarding the 937 and the bycicle mount. You know that the 937 handlebar doesnt allow to place a motorcycle quadlock mount in the center. I am thinking about buying a bycicle mount since the rubber bands would fit in the tiny gap in the center. Did you have any issues with the bycicle mount moving around through bumps and did you have to adjust the ange of your phone? Thanks!
P.S. I have the quadlock moto mount + dampener and it vibrates too much and it annoys me. Trying to save a few buck from the Evotech mount I guess as that would also raise the whole setup too high.
I'm actually using a Pro mount with an extension arm made out of metal - not the bicycle mount - thats why my phone is not dead center eventhough it annoys me. The vibrations dont bother me at all and the phone does not move around one bit

I would have installed the USB unit under the seat and run a USB cable to the charger. Just so you're not staked up like pancakes. You'll have extra cable user the seat but it can always be tied up.
Not a bad idea, i have since swapped the charger for wireless so the setup is even better. No USB port under seat needed.

Yea thats the purpose. I wondered about that myself and asked them. Its fine that it wiggles a bit

It needs to wiggle and counter the vibration.. and you need to keep in mind how much weight you put on top of the vibration dampener.. there is a optimal ( if not the rubber doesn't have any movement)
Had the same problem with the longer bolt… had to go to the store to get one first. Kinda annoying

What size is the thread and bolt that you needed to be longer?

Is it dampening or damping?
The correct word for reducing the amplitude in waves (such as sound waves) is "damping" or "to damp." The word "dampen" means to make damp or moist, and is concerned with liquid, not sound.
So unless you want to get something ''moist'' it's damp not dampen.
The quadlock is a damper. LOL LOL

Quad Lock Vibration Dampener does not work. Don’t waste your money. To see what happens to an iPhone 8 after one season on a Quad Lock Vibration Dampener check out the video on my page. This phone was mounted on a Tenere 700 - not a high vibration motorcycle. Fortunately, I only use this phone as a dedicated GPS. I won't be mounting my iPhone 12 to it - ever.
Meh, mine is fine. My iPhone 10 still works perfect and my new iphone 14 Max Pro is mounted on the vibration dampner and is A-ok. Sorry this happend to you, though.
