Don’t worry man I jumped my first time watching that jumpscare
In super bear adventure you can go upstairs and find a Lego tower the mouse inside references minecraft
Damn you. You owe me a new phone. That jumpscare at 6:25, made me throw my phone up high in the air and onto the ground, cracking a corner of my screen 😱🤣
Okay I'll agree that I was expecting the jumpscare (since you warned me) but I did get startled when an unexpecting loud scream came blasting at my ears.😂
That jumpscare made my cat look up and look around lol
That jumpscare really got me, and I was expecting it. Wasn't expecting the super loud scream with it. That one was louder than a normal jumpscare!
I normally don't get hit by them while watching on mobile but that got me hard
I had my volume on 5/15 and it still pierces my ears
I was falling asleep 😭
Me too, I had headphones on too
I died of heart attack
Regarding Hitman, is actually a very common easter egg in most if not all maps, the majority of them have some objects really far in the distance that will trigger the same dialogue when shot!
Oh really? Any other examples?
The thriller dance at the end is top tier
Omg i laughed so hard at it haha
Indeed the best
The jumpscare got me but it was lessened by your warning and the footsteps just before it
The ending of Deppart is an absolutely amazing way of releasing all that tension built up during the game.
Just from the title: If you drive the DeLorean DMC-12 in Project Gotham Racing 4 during the thunderstorm setting and you reach 88 mph or more and lightning strikes, you get an achievement with numbers towards the film.
BTW, that game was so ahead of its time: rain, snow, even ice, great driving feel and motorcycles and cars on the same tracks. Iconic cars and bikes like the Callaway Sledgehammer, GMC Syclone and the MTT Turbine Bike make this game - that I got for 50 cents 12 years ago - one of the best I have and will ever play. It was also the first game to feature the full Nordschleife and GP Circuit combined, and it was called the "Ungeheuer" (monster) in the german version.
I used to live on PGR 3 as a kid. It's the game that taught me how to race and my first experience with online play. Jumping into an online race, no one was toxic. You hear a little kid on the mic nowadays and they get flamed but not in PGR 3 x360 lobbies, people taught me how to race manual, use proper racing lines and the gears you need to take certain corners. I think of my PGR days fondly, I miss that game.
@@kualajdm Awesome. I played that too :)
Also some very unique cars you rarely find in games these days.
@@LexusLFA554 Yes, never seen a turbine bike in any other game. I don't think I've seen a Sledgehammer since PGR either.
@@kualajdm I haven't seen the MTT in other games either, and the Callaway Corvette only exists in very few games. Could be only PGR 3+4.
PGR4 was awesome, probably my favourite racing game of all time
I don’t know if you’ve done this but here’s one. In The Division during the underground phase “recover the report” at the last section of it you can hear the JTF officer screaming for help, one of the lines he screams is “Agent. Agent! AGENNNNNNT!”. It could be a reference to metal gear solid
I think a Dark Souls Bonfire with an equip-able Sword in it would be LOADS better.
And it's an extremely powerful sword as well
It could be perpetually on fire when unsheathed & burn enemies. That would explain why it was in the fire in the first place.
my Dad, who is re-learning Morse Code, found that the radios that lead to treasures in Farcry 6 are a real message.
Another from Blue Shift is that while you are waiting for the door to open after getting off the train, you can look back to the tracks and see Freeman go by on the next train. You're playing as the guard you see banging on the door when you start a new game in Half-Life.
"SUCKERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!" - Freeman's Mind
That sound sold the jumpscare. That was truly spooky
Amazing Video!🙂An indie time-travel game I found, which has a lot of movie and game Easter Eggs and references, is called "No Time". For example, Clint Westwood is a character from the game, who is named after the famous actor Clint Eastwood.
Somehow your videos always make my day better thanks for posting
Glad you like them!
Weirdly enough I still get excited when I see a dark souls bonfire or a red balloon in these videos.
I love being able to see just how many games are willing to put enough effort into an Easter egg making me appreciate that game more. And how many games are willing to do the bare minimum when putting in Easter eggs.
Amazing video. I really appreciate the hard work you put in to each video. So thank you for keeping me entertain with all you videos
Glad you enjoy it!
Here's an easter egg in Mass Effect Legendary Edition: If you go to the local cluster (our solar system) in ME2, and check out the positions of the planets, it's an exact match to the position the planets were at in real life when the original version of the game launched on January 26, 2010. (The map in game says the date is January 26, 2185)
There is one easter egg in Plants vs zombies battle for neighbourville. Behind rux’s shop on the plants side, you can find a shelf that has an garlic that activates something.😄
An Easter egg I found in nobody saves the world is.If you join the thieves guild one of the missions you can do brings you to a place that has a lot of things very similar to fallout. This can all be done on the left side of the map btw
In Zombie Army 4's Ragnarok Part 2 DLC during the first "Survive the Ambush" objective, one of the characters, when giving story exposition about the beginning of the universe, says the line "In primordial space, timeless creatures made waves."
This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.
Speaking of zombies doing the Thriller Dance, if you're playing the original Typing of the Dead and type along to the game's credits, the zombies will start doing the dance.
Really digging the new type of Thumbnail Capt.
100% expected him to dash toward you at the end after the dance lmao
That jump scare had me flying back and I almost tipped over my chair.
Man, I'm happy I decided to turn my volume down for that jumpscare near the end ... That was freaking LOUD
Thanks for another fantastic video Captain
Thank you for watching!
Love these vids
When I first played Deppart that jumpscare nearly gave me a heart attack.
The jumpscare got me
God the Deppart jumpscare fuckin hell
I’m glad it wasn’t just me haha
yep, that jump scare made throw my mouse
I saw a Sunset Overdrive hidden detail you may or may not have seen! In the second dlc when you’re fighting the Fizzco training sword bot, if you try and leave the are the game warns you with a message that says “Trying to leave? Training bit will tell everyone you’re a coward”
I love your videos so much lol
6:26 OMFG!!! Luckily I lowered my headset volume because I already know that jumpscare warning LOL 😂
In Bioshock 2 on the Dionysus park there's a room full of ice, and if you melt a certain piece of ice that's against the wall, you can find a cat named Schrodinger that was concealed in the ice
Ghoul at the end, 2 steps in, my first thought was: Thriller Dance.
There's a little bit more to that Worms: Ultimate Mayhem BTTF easter egg.
The building on the map is shaped like the Hill Valley Clock Tower from the film.
Your videos are absolutely brilliant keep your chin up just seen your tweet there absolutely fantastic
Hey cappn I havent seen ur vids in a while cuz I got a new phone so I procrastinated now I'm binge watching
6:24 got my keyboard almost in the celling
Jumpscare warning at 6:26!
Should have skipped that part
Damn that really get me bruuh 😂😂
Deppart looks really cool tbh, that jump scare got me good af 😂
Pretty sure the guy that says "Nice Shot. Really." Is Bill Murray. Could be a Happy Gilmore reference. The house kinda looks like the house that Sandler rocked two people with golf balls with in the movie, and Bill Murray i believe had a cameo in the movie? I could be super wrong though.
love the easter eggs❤
especially DeLorean clip and Thriller dance
in the last of us part 2, when abby and yara are looking for lev, theres a moment where you play with alice (their dog) to throw her toy, when youre about to leave if you get colose to abby and crouch she will growl so that you dont grab her toy
You lost your chance to say "When this baby hits 88 MPH, you're gonna see some serious sh*t" :D
Besides that, lovely episode, as alway

In Ghost Hunters game in the library is there a book called Tobins Spirit Guide ? I figured that book would be referenced in a ghost game somewhere ?
CoD MW3 while reloading 1887 shotgun, the character starts to do the satan horns subtly.
CoD BO3 (perhaps BO4 as well) multiplayer: cyborg characters see blood when unnured, while entirely-robotic characters have a red hexagonal grid, implying they don't bleed actual blood.
Seeing a red Countach with a spoiler makes me happy.
If you've seen 80s cartoons; you'll know why.
the noise it made is what got me.
Not sure if it's an Easter egg or a detail but I noticed while playing marvels midnight suns that the smashed window at Agatha's alter is conveniently broken in a way to look like the fantastic four logo
I don't know if this qualifies as an easteregg, but in Hitman when you step on a scale it will display the number 47. I know there are scales in the Club 27 level in the hotel rooms. I thought it was pretty neat.
That jump scare fucking broke me that was so loud. I don't even have headphones on or anything
I knew the jumpscare was coming after seeing IGP's playthrough.
I'm not sure if you've already covered his but in the new fall guys season you can unlock a banner title called "1.21 GigaBeans" which I think we all know what its referencong but if you didn't it's from bakc to the future
Love this guy
Not sure if you covered this one but in X Men Origins Wolverine there is both a Portal easter egg and World of Warcraft easter egg
Already covered :)
jumpscare still got me. i knew that was comming but the scream along with it threw me off
7:16, bro didnt have to get sturdy with it
@CaptainEggcellent there are quite a few easter eggs and small references in the Rat Souls-Like: Tails of Iron. Many easter eggs can be found referencing the Witcher games. I'm sure there are more than the obvious ones I found throughout my playthrough. But I mean the narrator is voiced by Geralt himself, so it's not that surprising either.
I also forgot to mention, if you decide to play Tails of Iron, pay close attention to the character names (inside and out of the arenas) and their designs. I think you and anyone else will be pleasantly surprised.
The last game's jumpscare didnt got me but your shoot the dancing zombie? did 😭
Concerning the jumpscare:
I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect it.
Worms 3D and Mayhem was the ultimate and best worms games ever. I miss those games.
bro the dance was too funny lol
in watch dogs 2 i know lots of people know about the side mission where you hack into the ubisoft offices and theres a big assassin's creed banner on the ubisoft building. but if you go into one of the few pawn shops and look at the shelf behind the cashier you can see game cases to far cry 2, ghost recon and a bunch of other ubisoft titles
In Super Bear Adventure, if you go to the cave near the snow place and go in the water, you can find a hole leading to a place where Baarens brother made the purple honey.
I think the aerial Easter egg is because it may be hard to hit because it is quiet thin but I don't know the voice.
The Horizon Corporation in Trepang2 uses PC's and Monitors from a company that is not Dell. Also in Trepang2 at the bottom of an elevator shaft you can find 3 plush bunnies sitting around a candle.
Also, there's some references to Half-Life (there's a HECU there) and even Resident Evil (can't spoil that, though).
i knew it was coming and scared the sheep outta me
just like supraland, there’s a similar minecraft easter egg in one of the Borderlands games with creepers inside of a hidden cave
Already covered :)
I knew it was coming because I watched the Markiplier and JackSepticEye video, but I still got jump scared.
In Doom Eternal, there's a room in fortress of doom (Doom-Guy's Spaceship) Where you can inspect weapons, and when you inspect the chainsaw, You see a Dopefish from Commander Keen
The end one is amazing I wish games would do funny stuff like that more 😂
There is a good DeLorean Easter egg in burnout paradise
You can race around on the the ground or hover if you want and if you boost you'll see the blaze trails on the ground
4:18 those white eyes, pretty sure that's Herobrine, not steve
In RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, a VIP park guest named Clint Bushton will sometimes come to your park. He's an obvious reference to former US President Bill Clinton, accentuated by the fact he will sometimes say in his thoughts "Your name is Monica??"
I've completely forgot about NFS Unbound lol. Didn't even know the game already release.
i think that wasn't steve, 4:00-4:20, maybe it was him, thw forgotten legend.
Herobrine.
I will find the inverted Dark Souls reference to make!
Hey while I was playing borderlands 3 in sanctuary I found an NPC with with a white helmet with ears that looked like pig ears witch I think it references IamWildcat
If that final Easter Egg is indicative of how the rest of Deppart will be, even just a little bit, then I think we could have a new indie horror classic.
You should check out the memes/anime poses in cyberpunks camera mode
I mean with that jumpscare you can hear footsteps before it happens
im too exhausted to be scared atm. but that would have gotten me if i was rested lol
I love Back to the Future easter eggs, even if they're over done.
I think that's actually Herobrine at 4:17. Given the all-white eyes and the sudden silence.
In DRIVER San Francisco if you reach 88 mph in a DeLorean you will unlock a new mini game where you have to redo the first mission from the very first DRIVER game and yes it's still this hard
even if i knew it was coming... i still jumped lol
wow that was very cool
Please, I’ve stopped counting but I hope you check out body of evidence! It’s has a lot of Easter eggs and is a super fun cleaning sim (trust me)
i always be the fan of delorean vessels.
Glad to see NFS unbound in the video! It's a great game!!
tbf it was but for me it got a tad repetitive and lack of support killed it for me 🥲
In Batman Arkham city you can find hush in the tower where jokers sniper is (the identity thief)
On the 6 Inches Under Easter Egg, that's not Steve. Note the all-white eyes- that's Herobrine
That jumpscare was no joke
I remember in worms Mayhem as soon as I saw the DeLorean and shot in my 10 year old mind was blown and I started shooting every other thing that looked like it could be in a movie.
3:32 is that not the same theme as 20 minutes till dawn
I guess you're right, I did hear it's footsteps 😂
idk if youve covered this but in payday 2 you can find left 4 dead action figures in the counterfit heist
The ending was an hilarious Easter egg 🤣🤣🤣
