Those painted countertops will last about a day. All that will scratch off. Should have scuffed it primed it then painted

after watching the TV show American pickers and pawn stars. I learned to not throw away old stuff. Half of the items you consider junk I would have snagged up in a heartbeat. You'd be surprised at how much old junk can be worth.
you do realize those shows are somewhat fake. Are you going to buy an old pedal car for $2000. Antiques are just that. If you have the space and money more power to you sir. Are you going to buy an old 1920 Stanley corded drill motor or a new battery powered one to actually use often. Don't get me wrong - old tools are cool as hell - how they were built, the looks, etc. Just most people don't have the money or space if that makes sense.

Old tools are cool as hell to see how they were built and to use them but they are hassle to store or use space on. You must have a large garage/shop sir. I have run across old machine tools and thought - that's cool I want that in my garage or I can sell it. Ends up gets tossed in the garbage because I either have better machines or just not enough space for how often I would use it and nobody wanted to buy it. How much would you pay for it.

I think the same thing, but who wants it. I have run across old machine tools and thought - that's cool I want that in my garage or I can sell it. Ends up gets tossed in the garbage.

Hey HD and Chase it's been a long time since I talked to y'all.... well the reason being is... my mom got diagnosed with colon cancer in it's metastasis stage which is the deadliest stage of that cancer and it hasn't been easy..... I took a break and a little disconnection from social media and Internet itself..... 2 days ago we learned that she's in her last moments in this world 😭😭😭... Thanks to y'all and the vids it has helped me get through this moment... the vids help me disconnect and therapie myself..... Thanks to y'all both and the gang for making me get through this sad and horrible moment.... bc indirectly without y'all this rough stretch would've been easy for me I can promise you that..... thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart..... thanks for making me get through this moment.... I love y'all too to death and the rest of the gang too ♥️♥️

Not sure the floor was prepped right. Mine started cracking and flaking off because I just cleaned the concrete, needs acid or a diamond sanding disk.

Welder torch plasma cutter go under stairs… left hand corner under stairs you need lathe an bridge port milll an drill presss plus a horizontal bandsaw goes under stairs probably lowest setup to fit under there… even harbor freight one for bandsaw be decent an even big drill presss… miller welder millermatic plasmas cutter be miller also 625 duty cycle need be 60% or more cause it will piss you offf…
Put umm a walll on the right side of steps to the underside of loft for where you got a back to store stuff under the stairs…
But all rollable fabrication equipment goes under the stairs…
Between lathe mill an drill presss on left hand under loft no room for table on left hand side..
Right hand side of stairs under loft 2ft table from walll 33” tall… good wood build an then put stainlesss metal on for tops about 1/8 thick run around the back of wall also but not down the walll that matches up with stairs you put in that’s a backing wall to fab tools on other side no leave that wall open an make that where you put your tool boxesss that roll around… tall box with maybe then at end of walll you put in there be a table that comes from back of the right hand side under loft on the left side matching up to tool box depth…
That be where you can mount a vise an dooo a metal small but heavy table that bee bolted down to the ground an honestly if you do vise there on mini table of coming off right hand booth under loft down left side against walll that is on right side of stairs you need tool box to not block the vise soooo um tool box on right hand side of right booth under stairs…
The bench area an tool box area..
Vise table down new wall on right hand side of stairs be metal made with half inch metal top for it an bolted to floor.. k run that down the length of that new wall no more then 2ft out from new wall ann yea ending the length of the table on right side of stairs at the first pillar of the loft the. Have that area there for bench grinder to sit that’s moveable but with solid heavy waited base..
