Danni, I've been flying alone since I was 12. I'm now 67. My married cousin lived in LA and would come home every summer to Southern OH. I'd fly out with her and stay for 2 wks and then fly back alone. I don't think anything about jumping on a plane alone n flying to Maui, or Germany, or Vegas to see friends n family. I wish I had a dollar for every mile I've flown in all those years! I've met some really cool people that I've remembered for a life time , even though I only spent a few hrs w them. Chill girl, enjoy the ride. It's quite amazing how that tin can does what it does!
The pictures of the blonde boy and girl are called Gary and Gretchen...Home interior sold them..my grandmother, my mom, my 2 sisters and me had them hanging in our houses..my 4 year old nephew came to visit, he pointed at the pictures and asked "Do we know these people"? I love going shopping with you Danni...so happy I found your channel...
That’s too funny! 😂 We had them growing up, but I didn’t remember they were Home Interiors.
My Grandson flies from Anchorage to kodiak alone, it's about a q hour flight ✈️ and he is 5. We pay extra to make sure he is turned over to us when he lands and they allow Mom to put him on the plane. It's 365 1 way so close to 800 to fly up and get him. He gets lotsa extra attention on the plane and loves it💗
When I was a tiny kid I went to boarding school and kids worldwide flew in. They had a stewardess assigned to them. I often think how odd it was because for them it was second nature. I'm not sure I'd have put my kids on a plane alone though. Guess we are all different.

I'm not a flamingo person, but really love that tray you found. The vintage holder is from Pisa. Besides the Leaning Tower, it also shows the Pisa Cathedral and Baptistry.
My first solo flight I was 11, flew from Tampa to buffalo. Love that flaming tray even though I'm not into them. Safe travels.

I always take a book when I fly. Knowing that I'm going to see my son and grandchildren helps. Knowing when you get off the plane your in another state is a strange feeling. A wow feeling.

Right at the 20 minute mark there was a game called “eye spy it”. It’s a Disney floor game & my granddaughter and grandson absolutely love it! I don’t remember it being cheap when I bought it. It may have been a good thing to look at. 😊

I fly across country twice a year to visit family. Flown by myself internationally several times. I don’t like flying, makes me nervous if I over think it, but I REFUSE to let that keep me home. I love traveling and experiencing new places way too much! ❤️ So, I bring a book, take my anti anxiety med, and go! 👍🏻✈️

Hope you can enjoy the clouds in flight. Look up artist James Ingwersen when you have a chance. He painted Boy Reading Book and had an interesting life until his recent passing in late 2022. Mother must have had that print hanging in the house for a long time, because I recognized it before you picked it up. It has no particular value, only $10 or so, but as you said "sweet." Sure enjoy watching - I could be your picker :)

Danni, use a downy sheet to get the static out of your hair. Just take one of the downy sheets and rub it on your hair and it should take the static out
