A few months ago I went to goodwill for spoons. Our seem to disappear. I found a 59 piece sterling silver set of flatware! From 1936!! It’s beautiful.
Lucky you; what a cool find!
Wow!!!
Lucky duck! I'd be happy to find decent stainless here. Congrats!
How much did it cost?
@@sothisisamerica2 I paid $3.50 for all of it!
I live in the same county where the Hewell Pottery jack o lanterns are made. They are made of Georgia red clay and come in different sizes and shapes. Everyone had one on their porch during Halloween growing up,they still make them, but they don't seem to be as popular now. I absolutely love them and buy everyone I come across at yard sales and estate sales, usually for a dollar or two. Last month I was at a sale and they gave me 2 because they didn't think anyone would buy them. I have around 30 now and put them all out every Halloween, they look awesome all lit up on the porch! My kids love them to. I have several that don't have hats, so I just drop a mum in them and they look super cute with their floral hairdos 🎃
The critter wasn’t a hamster it was a hedge hog😊
Also looked like a guinea pig too 😂
@@MamaStyles not really
Yes, definitely a hedgehog! I was at our animal shelter this morning, the supervisor had a hamster that was surrendered as found at the zoo. 🤔 It’s as cute in person as the little figurines!
Did you know that every David Winter’s cottage should have a mouse hiding somewhere on the piece. I used to sell them when I worked retail. Also they gave each store selling them a set of markers to use to touch up the chipped places since chipping was inevitable, even when new.
So very interesting. Thank you so very much for that information!!! Much love have a great day 🌷🤗🌹❣️
Talk to the store about music volume! Former retail general manager here..we often would take requests and lower the volume of music for certain customers who had children with autism or elderly customers with hearing aids.Maybe only in Canada we’d do it lol...but you can ask ! It doesn’t hurt to try, and if you’re a reg who spends good cash the manager might accommodate you Jocelyn.
Excellent idea!
For someone like me it is needed, drown out people who are loud or kids being loud. I have been in shops with no music, it is very distracting.
Glad you noticed the chip on the frog dish. I saw that when you picked it up and obviously you didn’t hear me telling you it was chipped!
😂 Thanks, Laura. It’s the thought that counts!
🤣🤣🤣✋✋
I won the bid on the blown glass clown you had on ebay. So excited can't wait to get it.
The reply is a troll . It isn’t her.🎃
The cookie things you mentioned are rosette irons. You were right it has a metal stick like handle. The cookies are very thin Christmas delicacy. The irons are dipped in a batter then fried in lard. My Swedish family made them every year. So good. Thanks for the nice memory of my gramma in the kitchen making them on the farm.
It's not only Swedish! My mom makes rosettes every year at Christmas. She's 100% German ❤️
We could get rosettes at a local w/e fall festival... yummy!
Thank you for taking us thrifting with you.
I worked at goodwill in York pa. I hope you know about the sales now. The color of the week changes on every Wednesday. From Wednesday until Monday everything is 50% off on the color of the week Tuesday is two dollar Tuesday. Any color tag with the color of the week is only two dollars. And on Wednesday it’ll change again. Happy Shopping
Your marble incident is like my incident at the grocery store. Mine was a basket of cherry tomatoes. They roll far too.
😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, they do. 😂
I've done it before with rocks!! They spilled all over the floor
💜💜💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
the little cups are not for salt but for sake - a fermented rice beverage. I didn't look at comments so I am sorry if this was already posted. As for the music in the store - they do have it up too high. Sadly they seem to do this everywhere.
I had a marble incident at my Goodwill, too! I lifted a ziplock full of swirly marbles and it broke. Hundreds, literally, a couple hundred marbles crashed to the floor, hitting the metal shelving and rolling everywhere. A customer and a GW employee helped me round them up but, I am sure we didn't get them all. 😆
Longaberger sold the lids separately. It will be common to find baskets without the lid.
I am so glad you were able to find all your marbles! Your fans would be crushed if you no longer had your superpower! Super Crazy Lamp Lady is our hero in finding treasures to buy and flip for a profit. We are now safe as you fight chips, lost lids, made in China, cracks and made to look old items. Not only do I learn so much from you, but I enjoy watching your videos as well. Thank you for all your hard work, thrifting with friends and getting to know your family and you.
Neil the frog!! But I’m not sure from looking at that it is Neil. My grandmother had almost the whole set, I wish I would have claimed it when she changed her kitchen decor but I was only in my early teens. But frogs are my spirit animal, so more Frogs always ! Thank you for all you do !🐸💜
Yvon has a great eye and like you she's very generous about sharing her knowledge
If the birds in baggie are salt and pepper shakers, they are made in Thailand… some came with sticker “ made in …” I own several pairs and place a pair at each place setting for individual use. Yes, I bought one pair from you😊
That teapot with the peppers would make a super cute planter. Nice find on the dishes. Hope we see your house for Halloween and the kiddos . I know you showed the outside a fe weeks ago 🎃
Many of the Longaberger baskets had plastic &/or cloth liners that you bought separately. Likewise with the wooden lids, and sometimes they had wooden dividers that fit specific baskets but you had to buy them in addition to your baskets
If You turn that pumpkin hat over it fits inside and you can put a plant in the top.
You and your family have shared sooo many tips over the years. Thank you for helping educate our circle of family and friends. We appreciate you taking the time to do so. We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season.
Sincerely, Di.
the brown teapot on 19:49 is an Arabia Finland piece the "Kaarna" TEA POT 1960s from the designer Goran Back and Ulla Procope
I love that you & Yvon are such good friends. You two are in my top 3 as far as the reseller community goes here on CZcams. I appreciate your kindness & knowledge & the fact that you both seem to have a strong moral compass. Thank you, as always, for sharing & teaching us so much! xo
Love Yvon!!!
well said.
I share the good youtubers with good moral values to my circle.
Inquiring minds want to know, who’s your third? I’ve tried watching several that I just don’t connect with. Jocelyn is precious, not to mention her mind blowing amount of knowledge.
Love watching your videos!! Seeing what you find!! Love your channel!! Much love!! ❤️🥰🌺💖💜🦋💕💙🙏🙏😊😊
Those paper mache eggs were EvErYTHING!!!
I have the glasses that weren’t in the box...in amber and mauve. 😂. My grandma left them to me.
I couldn't help but laugh about the marbles. I hope no one falls! ... I don't think so, only in cartoons.
Its just another manic Monday! Thats a fun day when we get to see the CLL!
Always the fave🧡🧡🧡
Just want to say, I think you're awesome Joselyn and I don't mind a bit when you talk fast and loud, I think it's fun and I prefer that to a voice over. And while we're at it, I really like the crinkle paper sound too. 😊
Me, too
I like the crinkle too!
Hi, you missed an Arabia Kaarna small teapot, the one that was marked GD, but usually they are not marked in any case, if they are, it's marked Arabia Made in Finland.
Kevlar dog bed sounds like a good idea. Plus it doubles as a tornado shelter.
Always so wonderful to watch, learn and be entertained. Baby L will love your nails! The colors are so wonderful for this time of year. 🎃
You didn’t find a lot but what you found was awesome! I always enjoy the time I get to spend with you Thrifting.
Love the paper mache Easter eggs! I was so glad you picked them up! So fun to see all of your great finds!
I had some smaller ones similar to those that my mom would fill with candy for my Easter baskets in the 1960's (oops, I mean the Easter Bunny would! 😉).
I grew up in Germany in the Easter eggs you picked up our one of my favorite things for my childhood. We would always get them at Easter filled with all kinds of wonderful goodies. I usually find them at World Market and buy them after season when they go on sale.
Definitely West- Germany, made in the 50s or 60s. Greets from GER, U.
I'm always learning from you. Your videos are so much fun to watch and I appreciate you taking time to explain what you are looking at. 😊 🤗❤🙌🙏
grandma Kathy here it's so wonderful to see you hun I'm really proud of the ethics you have you just go to it and work work I hope that all is well with you and your family sending love and hugs
we love this type...learn soooo much more!
I would use the pepper teapot as a planter. It’s cute.
I think it's a pitcher, no lid.
Good upcycle idea
Plant peppers in it
@@eloisebates7827 I thot so too. But, I find a lot of such things that I buy for planters leak. Ok for outside tho.
The black and white cup at 17:05 is PartyLite. Had a black/ clear swirled votive cup and when you lit the candle it gave off a beautiful pattern.
I have three of those Bormioli Rocco salad plates sitting upstairs in my death pile for the past 6 months 😅 Now I’m gonna list them ASAP 👌🏻
Ha! Me too! I have six of the glasses somewhere! Going to have to find where I buried them in my deathpile.
What in the world is a deathpile?
@@pollydish4385 a bunch of stuff you have had sitting for some time! Some call it a profit pile!
Beautiful plates .love the jewelry box very pretty your daughter will love it .U have a great eye for finding amazing treasure ❤️ Thank you for sharing your story have a wonderful day
I loved the butterfly lamp. Have a great day.
You found some great finds. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
Fun Shop, thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
The Tim nativities are selling here in New Mexico for 35 to $40 a set. Online double that and they also have a little tin box.
20:12, asmr part of the video lol! The plastic baggie crinkle relaxes me!
Love the paper mache egg
That dear animal with no ears is a hedgehog.
I found a new love seat there for $16.00. I got lots of nice furniture there for nearly nothing. I got an nice side board there for $40.00.
I have a paper mache Easter egg. It's very pretty and the colors are vibrant. They are worth $$$$
Hi, is this where I claim my prize? I have no clue if this is the right place. Lol
Here to claim my prize.
Hi I just love and I look forward to seeing your videos every day. I also love little laurel and OBTW she looks just like her dad.. ...Please show more of Laurel and the kids ... I enjoy seeing them with you, having fun with mom and day...Tu amiga Estella
Should have grabbed that paper sack ceramic vase!
I noticed that you often have trouble getting a signal to look things up inside of goodwill. Idk if Pennsylvania does it, but our goodwills have wifi. You just have to sign into it. No password needed, just agree to the terms. Then you can look things up without any problems!
Only do that if you have a VPN!
One of the Goodwill's I go to purposely jams the Wi-Fi so you have no signal there.
Oh Honey that pun was totally intended... lol
🐸 Neil is the frog from Sears RoebUck.
The round clay animal looks like a hedgehog 🙂
Not salt cellars, sake cups
Came to the comments to say exactly that 😂
Those paper eggs are priced well. I bought 2 smaller ones at a garage sale, made in west Germany, and comps are amazing!
Hello Jaslen, l love your and your friends like Dagney and Gorge, I can't wait until the new videos come out . 🤔🤗
A cute frame with mesh pulled across it in the frame..cute earring holder
Thank you for the video
Baggies are always my favourites, quite the variety of interesting things in them, LOL
Wouldn’t it be funny if you found a glassy baby in one of those hanging bags!
I thought the same thing!!!!
If only that Whitehall box actually had the original glasses in it!
I adore the West German papier-mâché Easter Eggs too! I collect them and they are getting harder to find, especially in the larger size. Great score Jocelyn!
Can be found at World Market early at Easter season. Hot seller.
I’m having to play catch-up and keep up. We’ve been gone for two weeks. I love the baggies. ❤
Poppies vase at 17:33!!! ❤️
I think the chili pepper pitcher is ClayArt; it looks like ones I saw in New Mexico
I will never not be envious of your goodwills!
OMG! I need the poppies vase
I think that was a Caboodle next to the golf- themed ice bucket. Might have been vintage. 🤑
I think that was a hedgehog, not a hamster.
There is some amazing pottery that comes out of Gillsville, GA. You'd love the face jugs from there (Bobby Ferguson's face jugs are fantastic!!)
Pampered chef cookie molds from the 80's can be worth $25-$45....
what about offering the manager five bucks to temporarily turn down the tunes. It would be cheaper than the time (=money) it takes to re-edit these things. :)
We have a small male dog. He used to tear up beds too. We used blankets and when he got older maybe 2 or 3, luckily he stopped chewing them.(theyre not cheap)
2 Lady Gaga songs in a row! Your Goodwill rocks!
I like your bracelet. It reminds of one I got from Mexico years ago.
Tracy Porter makes really cute tea for one’s.
Bormioli Rocco is a good glassware brand, made in zItaly as one might guess. I love the blue swirls and have two sets of their glasses. A!azon carries them and the plates.
Amazon!
Oh my gosh I have that same silver tone jewelry box! It’s weird seeing something I own on a CLL video. I just use mine in a cabinet to give height to a photo frame.
I would keep the clay pumpkin! ❤️
The box with the styrofoam you broke is a ceiling fan motor 😂😂😂😂😂😂🇨🇦
First of all I enjoy your videos and learn so much. I just went to Goodwill in RI (where I live). I didn't realize that after a while Goodwill throws away alot of product that they don't sale. So not always when you see someone pushing a cart it not always new product coming out. It could be stuff they are taking off the shelves and might be throwing it out
Most Goodwills send product to their bins unless it's glass. It gets thrown out because it's too hard to ship out.
Love the nails!
Sears Roebuck with a “u.” 😊
That frog candle burner you missed at 3:41!
The black glass vase with silver
That silver I Mica, which as a rule is Murano
Kilpatrick is a popular last name in the south. My Kilpatrick family neighbors run a dairy farm for years.
????
I found 7 bowls to match your Murano plates at my goodwill in NC
Those eggs in the bags are expensive and very collectable. Nice grab!
Joselyn, talk to Danni, she is using a newer mike that doesn't pick up surrounding voices, even when Kari is talking next to her, we can't hear her. So maybe it could help you.
I want the poppie vase at 17:34!!!
I’m in Taunton MA. Sometimes CA Woodworth pewter has a good resell.
Neil the frog, I can always remember as my dad's name
Hi Joslin, 😅 they have very neat furniture at that store..😅😅😅❤❤❤❤ take care 🙏🙏
I was at the grocery store a d had a large container on blueberries in my cart. It slid on to its side and popped open. All the blueberries went through the holes in the cart and rolled all over the floor.
It's finally happened...you've lost your marbles!
🤣🤣✋✋
You need to tell Jessie to check out the knives when he goes Goodwilling! Cutco knives have a good resale.
Yes! I have sold 4 sets of 4. Each set sold for over $100. I paid about $3 for them.
@@bunchielove6893 something resellers overlook. Cutco knives have a lifetime guarantee with them. You can return to Cutco for sharpening. Oftentimes they get donated when cleaning out a house after death, eviction. I only have one knife, paid full price for it and I love it.
Your nails are so cute!
The Tiffany style butterfly lamps bring good mny on eBay unless they aren’t selling really good now love your videos an you 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I LOVE your beautiful fingernails!
