- MROpen is the only superconductive MRI system that provides Upright Imaging of the Spine and Joints, allowing to scan patients using a full Weight Bearing approach.
Imaging the Spine in the Sitting or Standing position, now you can see the extent of the pathology, by looking at it on Weight Bearing MR scans.
Upright MRI is changing the clinical approach towards pathologies of the Spine and Joints, by allowing earlier detection and more accurate diagnosis, thus improving overall patient outcomes.
This is literally where I had an open MRI scan in Harley Street London yesterday literally the same room ! So much better than the extreme claustrophobia of the enclosed one.. I don't know why they just didn't design them like this in the first place !

@@Win-xl7no hi ! Yes It's called the European Scanning Centre ! If you have to sit for the scan it's wide enough like sitting in a small convertible car (you can look up look forward etc) you don't feel so "entombed" so to speak. I had to lay on my right side for my scan and felt quite comfortable just knowing there was nothing above me in fact I actually sort of fell asleep and started snoring ! As for the noise they ask you if you want to listen to music or the radio (I went for LBC) and could just hear muffled voices as they give you ear plugs and earmuffs. It is still as noisy as the conventional scanner but the fact that you don't feel so cocooned more than compensates for the inconvenience of the noise. I think you'll be fine.. I hope Memphis has something like this, tried to do a MRI today laying down and discovered that I am claustrophobic when they began sliding me into the machine.... Hadn't even turned it on and I just COULDN'T do it....
same have to cancel one 3 minutes after i was inside the machine bed , now going to try the upright one ..
3 minutes ! I bailed out after 5 seconds ! 😆
I have MRI regularly and always have a panic attack,as soon as I see the machine my body starts shaking! Whish we had an open one might not be so traumatic!

Please...Can someone tell me where I can get an OPEN UPRIGHT MRI IN NEW JERSEY? I suffer from vertigo and it forsnt allow me to lay down without feeling faint...And NO I DONT NEED A SEDATIVE that's for people who suffer from claustrophobia. Please HELP! 2018

I have a brain blockage and still can't get myself into even their regular "sitting" MRI machines. This one looks so much less traumatic. Where the heck is it?

That particular one is in London Harley Street (European Scanning Centre) I was in there yesterday so much better.

@@AdrienneS1970lol ok ! 😄 though I'm pretty sure there is somwhere in America that can help you with this, it's rather more expensive than the average scan because of its scarcity but worth it for not being subjected to *the dreaded claustrophobia !* good luck. 🤞
