Glad I actually kept the 14pm this year. The pics look better on it. I’m also glad I got gold still it’s still so beautiful. The only thing that I wish we got last year was the usbc port.
The pics and videos look 10 times better on the 14!
The USBC port is the main reason I don’t want to upgrade to the iPhone 15 PM.

Great video. Thanks for reviewing these two. However, the biggest difference would be for the ones taking videos amd photos. 15 pro max can take brilliant details when shooting videos in bad light/weather conditions. So, of course, not much difference but to some a huge one.
Sticking with my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
I thought the same. Used a 15 PM for a few days. And you can tell a difference camera, especially in low light is miles ahead and the phone is noticeably faster, better data connection also.

Your videos are always on point! I watch all your Apple videos! I do the iPhone upgrade program solely so I can upgrade every year because I love getting the latest and greatest! I wasn’t going to upgrade this year but the usb c is what got me. My husband has Samsung and it was annoying not being able to share chargers or having to get back out his car to go to mine for a lightening cable to use his car play and vice versa! Now I can hop in his car plug in my phone and go about my business! Also now I have the same charger for all my Apple products so the upgrade was a win for me.

iPhone 16 gotta be an evolutionary design for next year. I currently have a 12PM. If I’m going to upgrade a phone, it has to look different from the one I’m upgrading from. That is why I haven’t upgraded my 12PM. I’m giving Apple one more shot to give me something worth upgrading for iPhone 16 series. Otherwise, I’m going with the S24 Ultra.
Apple re-designs their iPhones every three years (iPhone x - iPhone 11) same design and iPhone 12 - 14. Don’t expect a new design until the 18
14 and 15 pro looks nothing like 12 PM

Upgraded from a 13 Pro. Now, my phone won’t ship for a couple more weeks. But I’m hyped for the USB-C, using the Dynamic Island, the weight reduction, and the Natural Titanium to match my Watch Ultra.

Can you upload files to a ssd hard drive on the iphone 14pro max? Im a photographer and dont care about that camera so much on the iphones but that transfer to ssd on the 15pro max caught my attention since my iphone 12PM got full real quick with photos and videos.

I pay in full every time I up grade but I didn’t upgrade every year after the 12 pro max I took a 3 year gap because I felt I was getting the same phone with very minor up grade. I hate hearing about all the power the iPhone has when Apple don’t give us anything to take advantage of that power.

I wish I just would’ve waited until next year for the 16. Got my 15 Pro Max and compare it to the 14 Pro Max, to me personally the 14 Pro Max feels more authentic, or luxury if I’m saying that right. I actually like the stainless steel band because it’s a contrast on the frame. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s less prone to scratches. But on my 15 promax black titanium the titanium band and color of the frame is all seamless. There’s no distinction. And I don’t mind the weight of the 14 Pro Max. Honestly, there’s not a huge difference. But, though like the smaller bezels on the 15 Pro Max, those slight, it’s nice.
Does not make sense to upgrade from 14 pro max to 15 pro max unless you into photography and use usb C 3.0 daily, most of people don’t so there is no need to upgrade every year

Camera not that important to me and I don’t game on my phone. USB- C, I don’t transfer files so, sticking with my 14 PM.
I’m on the Next up program with AT&T, if I wasn’t I wouldn’t get the 15 pro max, but seeing I’ve been paying for it over the months; I always just upgrade.🤷🏾♂️
According to MKBHD the usb-c is the biggest change and id have to agree.
If the file size for recording in log was more manageable from the phone, i would definitely use that more. Way better than how apple processes it.

My man CJ never misses 💪🏽 my 14 pro max has been having terrible battery/overheating issues during the iOS 16 update and I’ve seen a few clips people were saying the 15 is the same way so I’ll hold out for a while.
I’ve never had a heating problem with my 14 pro max even when in updating. I have the new upgrade 17.02 but it took quite some time to do, but it loaded just fine and it’s new features are amazing. The key board is better and the swipe texting majorly improved!!

Car manufacturers do refreshes on vehicles every 5-6 years. In between they may do minor changes… wheel base extended an inch or 2. Change the offering package… the SLT pkg is now standard but missing a safety feature. Thats what this years iPhone and Apple Watch are. If you have a device a few years old then of course buy. But to go from a 13 to a 15 is not much. Same for the s7 to the S9. Or the AWU to the AWU2…

I thought you had to buy a different cable to access the USB-C 3.0 speeds? The cable in the box is only USB-C 2.0?

The cable in the box regardless of the phone is 2.0. The capability of the pros are 3.0 and you do need an additional cable.

I'm one of those people who upgrade every year, but I go back and forth between Apple and Samsung, depending on what phone I'm feeling that year. I do pay in full for all my phones tho because I buy them unlocked. I dont like the idea of paying monthly for a phone when I can just pay in full and get it out the way. I have enough monthly bills as it is lol

Ok: 19 grams lighter but more fragile, 3X vs 5X zoom and some minor updates to camera, USC-C, slightly rounded edges which has some meaning if you do not wear a case. Faster chipset and better for advanced games. And will set you back a lot...

USB C is a game changer because I keep a fold and a iPhone and now I only need one charger. Action button was huge, software improvements great, lighter weight is good but Stainless steel was better and more Premium. Battery Life was better on 14 Pro Max and this is coming from a heavy user with every TV App including Hulu and Netflix and CZcams TV. I guess the upgrades outweigh the cons of upgrading the phone.

Same with me have spent all day and night looking at it and enjoying it, wow what a difference from an old iPhone x to the iPhone max pro is just amazing, dont forget to protect it, I bought a ESR kickstand protective case straight away with overnight delivery from Amazon and Anker charger, also a protective screen protector, I'm so careful and appreciative this phone will last me very long time.
