- We began our adoption journey 2 years prior- This video was captured the next two days after custody, "gotcha" day with our son.

I took my first motherland tour with my daughter when she was 18 years old. A motherland tour is when adoptees tour South Korea with their families and other adoptees. We got to meet my daughters foster mom and have lunch with her. All the adoptees bonded so well during the two week trip. Some adoptees got to meet their foster parents but no one got to meet their birth parents on that trip. I’m so glad we went and got to share exploring her birth country with her.

I am just new to watching your story. I was adopted at the age of 3 from Seoul, Korea from an orphanage so I am loving to watch your story from the beginning and how he adjusts to his new family and life ❤

@@DBWorld_CZcams no unfortunately I do not, but my Mom made me a book of things and articles from Seoul that I have and my outfit I came in over from Korea in and it is framed on my wall ❤

Praying nights are going well..I remember, the first 2 weeks for our son, he would wake up in the middle of the night and cry for 3-4hrs..nothing could comfort him and looking back, he was probably grieving..loving the video!!!

Was it hard to adopt and process , or agencies that help we are looking into adoption is overwhelm so much information
The process is long.. but soooo worth it. :) I will be honest though, the process was not easy for us. Overall, it truly has been one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you for asking.
