Nah mane. Mario is still the dumbest coach this year… maybe ever for the GT game. Let’s not forget he shut it down at the end of the game and chose OT over a GW field goal.
@AlmightyMauMau Mario went for the OT against Clemson because number one , we had a true freshman QB making his first start and it'd be stupid to risk a costly turnover or even a pic six trying to for a two minute drill on a freshman. Number two Mario and Dawson knew Miami's OL was dominating Clemson's DL , so that gave us the better chance of winning and that's what happened.

College football is the greatest sport of all time, and it’s not even debatable.
On an individual game basis NHL hockey was the greatest spectator sport in the world until comish butman came to town. But yeah as an overall sport it's always been CFB.
Of course when your team wins, it’s great and you can enjoy rest of the game and stay up late night. Roll tide!!!

As a Clemson fan, I appreciate what Dabo has been able to do for our program but, it’s time for us to move on in my opinion. I don’t even like how Dabo talks about things at this point, I want Venables back and wish he was our Head Coach at this point. Personally, idk who is gonna be the right person to replace Dabo but, as of right now if I was a player I wouldn’t want to play for Clemson solely because of Dabo as a Head Coach. This is just my opinion, I know I’m being critical but, it’s sad to watch a great program sink like it is right now (really it’s been slowly sinking for the last 3-4 years though imo).
Dabo is not a bad coach. His problems started after he lost his assistants. If he can put together another good pair of OC and DC , Clemson will be fine.

It was his first ever start in college at quarterback...but the kid is a 5 star recruit. There is always room to grow,but he's not without experience. He's won a ton of games. NIL is really leveling the playing field and creating parity. Alabama can't just gobble up all the talent anymore. Everyone is allowed to now.. Maybe a year or so back,they were discussing getting rid of the PAC 12. Now with NIL and the transfer portal,most of the good teams are in it...and it might become the PAC 25

What’s happening to Clemson right now reminds me of what happened to us in Gainesville post Tebow. We’ve been on a slide since Tim left and are slowly finding our footing again. Ever since Clemson went 15-0 with Trevor they’ve regressed little by little every year with a small bump coming last year. 15-0,14-1,10-2(Covid),10-3,11-3, 4-3 currently
Clemson and Florida are very similar programs in terms of overall history. Both were mediocre prior to Ford/Spurrier, then had two decades of success followed/sandwiched by more mediocrity.
