Was with you on everything said until Joe said the schedule is light. Georgia has one of the toughest schedules this season and they can't play themself. They open with Clemson and play all 3 of their toughest games on the road at Bama, Texas and Ole Miss plus what should be an improved Tenn
Yeah they definitely don't have an easy schedule like they usually do 99% of the time. They will definitely have to work for it this year.
Hey, do yourself a favor and check out where Georgia's schedule ranks at the end of each season. They consistently finish in the top 10-15 in Strength of Schedule (SOS), and most seasons it's usually a top ten schedule. Looking at SOS in August is useless!

I think the reason Georgia will be so dynamic on offense this year is because of two running backs that they have. I mean don't get me wrong they have Tight ends and Receivers, but they have a running back that weighs 240 pounds, and Ettiene. Not to mention the fast player in freshman running back Dwight Phillips.

Make that 3 RBs. ETN , Rodrick Robinson ( he is the 240lb guy) and BRANSON ROBINSON. Branson healthy is gonna be hard to stop.

Mykel Williams played with a bad shoulder for most of the year. He’s healthy this year. Watch out

Only hole in Beck's game is the deep post / deep ball. He's just a LITTLE off with those. He starts hitting them, and good luck stopping that offense. He has the ARM to make them...just has to get his range finder honed for accuracy on those throws.
90% of Georgia play calls in 2023 were not explosive plays. Georgia has an elite offense and waste 2 quarters every game with nonsense runs that end in punts. Until they actually replace Todd Monken..they aren't going anywhere

Don't forget, UGA played a lot of freshmen on defense last year. The biggest improvement for players in college is from freshman to sophomore. UGA front 7 going to be lights out this year

More depth at TE than last year but yeah Brock can't be replaced
People don't realize how beat up we were at the RB position last year. I mean we were trotting out what would normally be our third best RB and a WR converted to play RB at certain points last season. That healthy RB room ALONE makes us scarier on Offense. It's gonna be a PROBLEM for opposing defenses.
Everybody knows yall slipped at RB. But you're right about that alone making them more of a threat and the Etienne dude was legit in Florida. I expect Georgia to look different this year and I believe they will have to with the East/West done away with

Easy schedule? Besides Florida, it’s one of the most treacherous schedules in the country. Let’s see Ohio State play Texas, Bama, Clemson and Ole Miss away.

Schedule is light? With you on everything other than that. Last couple years, no doubt. THIS year? AT Bama. AT Texas. AT Ole Miss. Clemson to start on neutral field. Now is Clemson what they were a few years ago? NO, HOWEVER, they're not Duke. Aside from Florida which has a BRUTAL schedule, UGA's schedule this year is up there at the very top. Tennessee (home) and GA Tech is getting better each year under their coach. Granted i think we beat Tech (and Clemson by double digits) but only because Georgia should be THAT good. GO DAWGS. Also i do believe if not for the Bama loss we win the third straight. FSU could have had their whole team and we would have beat the brakes off them. They didn't belong in the title game. Period. Yes they won, which is generally what you would say. However, FSU would have not been favored over ANY of the teams in the playoff nor Georgia. Kirby is building a brutal machine and it's beautiful to watch. Enjoy it while we can cause nothing lasts forever. With a brother that graduated from Clemson and several friends that did as well i get to see it firsthand. If i'm being honest i LOVE seeing them crying about their team now. Point is a few years back it was DABO/Clemson, the juggernaut he was building and now they're just a good college team. Nothing lasts so we will enjoy these DAWGS while we can.

Huh? Why is there not more chatter about Carson Beck? He's the front-runner for the Heisman and the consensus projected #1 overall pick next season. Not sure how much more chatter you would like. That said, you know who doesn't care either way? Carson Beck. Kid seems humble and driven. Cannot wait to see what he does this season with the training wheels off. If the 2nd half of last season is any indication, those projected accolades seem very reasonable! Go Dawgs
WR Arian Smith runs a 4.2 👀 & I heard that he’s made a significant improvement in his development.
& Georgia plays away games against 3 top 6 opponents and then 2 more games against top 15 teams (going off preseason rankings) that’s not a light schedule. That’s 5 top 15 teams. But we’ll see how the rankings shake up at the end of the season to really see how tough their schedule is bc I know preseason rankings are never accurate

10:28 Mykell wasn't able to practice as much last year as he had been slowed by a lower body injury and that lack of practice time effected his play but that's not the case this year so look for a monster season out of him
Very Good stuff. What gets lost in the discussion sometimes on the Georgia defense is the young LBs had some growing pains-misfits, bad angles, assignment that also hurt the stat line.
Milroe didn’t outplay Beck 🤦🏽♂️ Beck had more total yards and a better QBR than Milroe in the SECCG. Milroe won but he didn’t outplay Beck.
Milroe made more big plays and made less mistakes ultimately won the game. So the #s you mention don’t mean shit. Beck is a better QB but it’s about wins.

As a georgia fan I wouldnt bet on any team going undefeated with our schedule.. I think we will beat bama and loose to texas. In a neutral sight I wouldn't bet against GA vs anybody. But this year like any other year there is always going to be 4 or 5 top teams that could all beat one another depending on the day.
You had my interest until you said Georgia had a very winnable schedule. Take a look at what their competition is ranked at this year.
Georgia IMO is still the best team in the country. They were last year, they would have beat Michigan IMO had they beat bama. I will say this, Georgia is gonna have a tough road this year. If they win out or just one loss even, and win another championship nobody can say anything.

I've said it for years if uga would ever start throwing more and getting those 5 star wr recruits uga would be unstoppable. Also pur rb recruiting hasn't been no where near as good the last 5 years but we've managed to clean that up thru portal and coaching so give us 5 star wr and watch uga run off 4 natty un a row that's how scary uga would be with those guys

Joe, Come on man. That last thought is crazy!!! They play #14Clemson, #5 Bama, #4Texas, #6Ole Miss, and #15Tennesse. Now of course those are just preseason rankings. But 3 teams in the top 6, and 5 teams in the top 15 is a TOUGH schedule for ANY college team. Even one as impressive as Georgia.

I love the Dawgs! Been a follower since 1966. But Ohio State has as much talent as UGA and if the QB comes around, they will be playing for a Natty with that schedule. They have a great Defense also.

UGA could easily be 10-2 this year. Their schedule is way tougher than usual. I don’t expect any team in the power 4 to go undefeated.
And with the 12 playoff spots, Georgia doesn’t need to go undefeated. Once Georgia gets in the CFP, it will be tough to take out Georgia.
It's all about staying healthy at pretty much all positions and georgia had their share of that at the wrong time last year but every team has to worry about that it's part of football . Go DAWGS!

You don’t hear about Beck bc he stays out of the news on purpose. His game against Tennessee on 3rd down was a master class.
defensive line is the big question mark and then can Beck bring it against a great team with the game on the line. They played one great team last year, and Beck didn't bring it; I questioned Bobo's obsession with running the ball in that game when it was clear that it wasn't working. They should have gone to running to offset their passing attack rather than vice versa/ Smith is back and very fast

My only Small Concern is the Secondary for Georgia they have ton of Talent you have experience safety’s with Starks and Jackson outside of that CB is concern for me Everette Humphrey and Daniel Harris they have potential but will see. Joenul Agureo is a guy you will be talking about at that star position who will breakout this season

@ruffinoandjoeshow 21, yes, 22 about 30th in country. 21 was such a loaded team on the front 7. Probably top 10 this year, but again, it's not the D they run.
I don't know why everybody thinks that Ohio state to so good. They have a trouble getting past Michigan every year, but the last few years and they're not consistent and they play in a weaker division which is the big 10 I believe this year, that Oregon is going to beat them.
