    This program actuaply seems like it could be fairly effective. I know some programs require like 2 days where you do the same thing, but when you have to give them a window every day it makes it much harder to ensure you are off cycle should a bloodtest be done. I'm actually all for doping, but only if it is in a federation where it is allowed. It is fun to watch how crazy people can get enhanced. But I think it's even more interesting to watch guys like Bryce who are crazy strong drug free, and a more stringent program such as this is about the best that can be done to ensure that people are on the level.

      IPF Registered Testing Pool - www.powerlifting.sport/anti-doping/registered-testing-pool-rtp
      IPF Testing Reports - www.powerlifting.sport/anti-doping/national-doping-reports
      IPF Sanctions - www.powerlifting.sport/anti-doping/sanctions
      That is only a portion of the lifters since National federations can also do their own testing and have their own pool. So like the CPU and USAPL have their own out-of-competition testing pool that they test plus they test some of their own lifters at their own meets.

    I scrape the publicly available failed USAPL tests and sell it to health insurance companies. It doesn't pay me much but I sleep well knowing the actuarial tables to establish insurance rates are more accurate. More accurate tables, higher profit margin.

    Dude I'm curious how would this go for someone who's got stage fright when they pee? I could literally have to explode BY MYSELF and sometimes can't do it for a while. I can't imagine having to have someone behind me while I take a drug test.

      That would be tough. Also - they don’t stand behind you. They stand to the side and make sure you’re “passing the sample” naturally.

      We habe this regularly at work for different substances. The nurses are pretty casual and give you ample time. I get stage fright usually have to down a massive load of water until something forces out.

    Can you make a video on how likely is it for any ipf record holder to not be natural? How would someone like russell possibly get tested 14 times and still be not caught(if he is cheating which I dunno if he is).

      I mean just do the maths. 14 times in a year equals 1 or more tests per month. So either he has been extremely lucky or maybe yknow, he’s not on the gear?

I don't know enough about PEDs to really make a statement, but are there compounds that aren't being tested, or ones with an extremely short half-life? People say shit like it's easy passing drug tests, but no one has made a video on exactly HOW to easily pass one.

      If you look at how many times he's gotten tested in total, which is 16 times in like 4 or 5 years, he's not getting tested monthly. Max like 4 or 5 times a year to as low as twice a year. Not as rigorous as they make it seem

      Many countries have a WADA affiliate (CCES in the case of Canada), and interestingly, the CCES has been contracted to help in oversight for the entire IPF because their practices are so good.

    I don't know why it matters to anyone if someone takes steroids or not..... Though I am a beginner in game but I believe, if you love lifting weights - you will focus on yourself only. It's good to watch other lifters journey and their lifts. World records are by product when you have been training your ass off for over years.
    Thanks Bryce for bringing this video... I will be competing sooner in APU so this is good to know for beginners like me.

      It's year round untill you drop off the map and isn't regarded as suited for the whereabouts program.
      At a vacation in Mexico? You can get tested.
      Heck, I've heard about athletes being tested 3 times the same week in an off season lol

      Yep it’s year round. Like puff says you can be tested on vacation (I haven’t had it happen personally). You either need to retire, or they take you off the list for some reason. Those are the only two ways it’s not active. Oh and COVID. Testing was basically... cancelled for the first bit of COVID as they figured out how to do it during a pandemic.

    ok you're obviously not aloud doping in the federation you are in but that "drug tested doesn't mean drug free" voice got me thinking are you aloud regular dope? like we are in Canada right if that brew was a joint would you not be aloud to compete?

      Pretty sure there's a list of PEDS (performance enhancing drugs) that aren't allowed somewhere online. Honestly doubt that weed is on that list lol. On the other hand, I've heard some people get better indurance from weed, idek. Stimulants (coke, speed) are probably on the list.

      WADA only prohibits marijuana in competition. It is not banned out of competition, so as long as you aren't being tested at a meet, having marijuana in your system wouldn't constitute a doping failure.

      Honestly, if somebody really thinks a lifter is on steroids, I doubt anything is going to convince them otherwise. Maybe some people really know some inside information, but I think it's usually more of an emotional reaction than a case of ignorance.

    So long as you test under the 1 in a million genetics for test levels you pass. Most natural lifting and body building is all about taking less steroids, but still taking steroids. I'm not saying this guy isn't natural, but this is the norm.

      @@calgarybarbell Oh I didn't say as if I'm angry, I'm just pointing out the obvious. You sign up to compete in drug tested = you get drug tested as often as possible to eliminate cheating. I just thought it was weird that anyone can think it is an infringement on their rights, that it is a horrible thing, that it is scary or whatever. I'm surprised people didn't know!

    how is drug free competition fair? its all about genetics then. So u can permit yourself to compete drugfree becouse you have awesome genes. Meanwile us normies wil never have that chance and its got nothing to do with work ethics. I know ppl who are busy training all their lives and never even get close to top 10%
    In my opinion untested makes the playground fair(er) for everyone!

      Genetics still play a dominant role if you're on gear. One could even argue it's a bigger factor since you need to start with solid base strength and on top of that have a strong response to the drugs while being able to tolerate them. There are plenty of people who work hard and take drugs and never get near top 10% either

      This is the same logic as saying "How come that guy in the NBA is 6'11''' and I am 5'10''? That is unfair. Where is my drug to be 6'11""? People are different dude and that allows certain people to leverage their differences to their advantage. Same reason certain leverages play to different strength in different lifts. If you have t-rex arms, your deadlift may be sub-elite, but your bench may be monstrous, depending on your technique and strength. Drugs wont change your leverages, so the guy who pulls more than you will probably still pull more than you if you both are on PEDs.
