You'd have thought in today's market that every conceivable market niche would have been filled. Yet in the rush to deliver every conceivable kind of SUV, one segment has been ignored; that for a truly affordable 7-seat family car. And who better to fill that niche than Dacia? If you want seven seats in a family car these days - even in a converted van - you'll need well over £20,000, which Dacia thinks is ridiculous. So the company has taken its Sandero hatchback and lengthened its platform enough to insert a third seating row, so creating this car, the Jogger. At the same time with this model, there are Crossover-inspired looks a world away from the dull conformity of the forgettable Dacia compact estate this contender effectively replaces, the Logan MCV. The Jogger has even been engineered with the option of Dacia's first hybrid engine.

If a one star NCAP rating basically means that a car doesn’t have electronic shite fitted into it, I think I’ll start actively seeking those cars out.
Yet another thorough and detailed drive..this is an excellent Chanel and the only one I would trust for all the details…this Dacia Jogger is and excellent affordable vehicle one that I will seriously consider when changing my car although I have to say I shall be forking out for the top model which is very much more appealing than this model …and I found this model very appealing…well done Dacia I think this last range of models that you have produced shows up the top end brands that ask double and often more for less….all I can say is WELL DONE

Bang on with the handbrake, my Kuga has it as well as most new cars, I hate it, you need the feel of yanking up to feel safe that it’s staying there.

the 3rd row seats can be folded up also which would give a more even storage space or removed completely quite easy.
You could have made it a bit clearer that the bad safety rating is mainly due to the lack of advanced electronic driver assist functions.
Electronic driver assistance that makes a car safer. It doesn't have them. So it gets marked down. The cars that have the electronics are safer. They get more than one star. I hope this simple explanation helps you understand.😂

@@davesmith60A 2015 VW Touran that got a five star NCAP rating would get a similar rating because of its lack of the latest whistles and bells. And you’re here trying to convince us that these cars are somehow dangerous. Because bongs aren’t going off every five seconds to remind you about something inconsequential. Losing a star because a seat doesn’t go “bong” when the seatbelt isn’t attached? Because you can’t just look and say “stick your seatbelt on”, can you? Give your head a wobble.

1.2kWh battery is good for starting the petrol engine but anyway considerably interesting value for money i admit.

Pity they focused on fitting the 7 seats but didn't optimise the booth space too.
Can you take out the middle 3 seats and leave just the 2 back seats.

Remove the spare wheel and the seats and you get a 1000 kilogram van.
Hmmm removing spare tire might be a bad idea if You get a flat on a long journey in the middle of nowhere.
Good video as I like this car. However quite annoying you have to keep showing us the green Dacia sign every time you say Dacia.

Not worth at all. There is practically no real warranty service. If something breaks...... there is no repairs. The reason is very simple - factory is not sending spare parts! Think twice before buying, because you are buying a new car without real warranty service. And ... surprise, surprise, every new week comes with something new that fails..... Dacia does not cares for its customers. Go and buy it. It is the perfect car for throwing your money away !!!
