    Love Nemophila, Band Maid and Lovebites. Marata Tamu such an incredible drummer. Saki and Hazuki great guitarists. Mayu so good on vocals. Try song Raitei. These women are all part of other bands, they came together late 2019 as freinds. Raitei is thunder, and it has a thunderous finish. Sorai, Oiran, Fighter great songs. Life is a beautiful ballad, between Mayus beautiful vocals, and the incredible guitars soloing, interlude, I can't get through it without tissues. ( but also drummer Tamu, just came back from giving birth and time off to play that live stream, virtual show, last august, and her holding back emotions while drumming, is just incredible)

    There is a reason why the Japanese bands so technically good. Training from an early age is one. Another is the "music market" is really tough, Japanese audiences are expecting excellence and bands/performers who are so-so don't make it. Also there are many venues for the bands/performers to build a following, some fully equipped, so the bands only need to show up with their instruments.
    Japan in the #2 music market in the world, Kpop's biggest foreign market, bands forming, dividing, reforming and totally new creating a dynamic that gives us Western Barbarians some really top flight bands.

    • @outwest1014
      @outwest1014 Před 3 lety +3

      @MeRoX Official Not a surprise, Japanese corporate culture is sexist, women have it tough within the corporations. So the creative ones go into entertainment as their outlet. The infrastructure for arts put us to shame. Sakura Gakuin is an example.

    • @Vitericus1
      @Vitericus1 Před 3 lety +5

    You pretty much have a band made up of nothing but vets from past and current groups. There's Saki (guitarist on the right). She's still in a metal band called Mary's Blood, one of two guitarists (the other is Frederic Leclercq) in another side project called Amahiru, and Destrose. The guitarist on the left is Hazuki of Disqualia fame (another Japanese metal band). The drummer, Murata Tamu (or just Tamu for short) has been in the game since 2013 as a solo artist and a former member of a band called Soramimi. The bassist, Haraguchi-san, came from a band called HöLDERLINS. Last but not least is Mayu, the vocalist. She was a former member of a band called LIPSTICK. Y'all should check out a couple more originals from them called Raitei and Oiran. You won't be disappointed. Trust me!
