A tour of Bermuda sound great
Yes please.....
A tour maybe, stuff living there.. telling me I can only have one car 😂
I hear the triangle is nice this time of year
If I were you, I’d book a cabin on the cargo ship and literally accompany it to NY and make sure no rif-raf happens. Then witness the transfer because any kind of “shit” can and will happen there! Yes, and then the final leg to Bermuda.
I want to see it all! Does anyone else want to see the whole adventure?
Most companies stopped bringing passengers onboard for cargo journeys during COVID and it's never really picked back up again, more hassle than it's worth it seems.
I'm sure matt has a couple of weeks spare to spend in a cargo ship cabin without Internet (and cabins used to be expensive).
The car will be in an enclosed container, nothing to see.
@@chrisberg7009 thanks, I didn’t know that.
@@peterd4011 I thought that was something that would drive him absolutely crazy! LOL
@@peterd4011
Oh look, water.
Oh look, more water.
Oh look, albatross.
Oh look, a sailing ship becalmed.
What a glamorous life you've led - Bermuda, Spain, California, Stockport.🤣
Haha I know… Stockport is temporary I promise
@@HighPeakAutos Do you have British (Bermuda) and Spanish passports, too, Matt?
@@dansimmons21 Sounds a bit like the Trotter family. New York, Paris, Peckham v Bermuda, Spain, California, STOCKPORT ! ?
It’s a beautiful car! It deserves a pampered, easy life in beautiful Bermuda!
Stunning little Z3. I've just put a deposit down on a 98 1.9 genuine 57k miles from new. Prices are rapidly rising on these classics, now is the time to buy one !
I bought my 2.0 in January, love it
Absolutely stunning, mind boggling
Not hating but your financing a 8k car ? How are you not buying it out right??
@@dannyjayke8695I guess it's a deposit to secure the car instead of financing
@@dannyjayke8695maybe he just can't afford 8k. Not everyone can.
Yes a Bermuda video tour sounds amazing 😊
Coming soon!
Another left field video release Friday night and a good one! 👌love Bermuda too.
Great content 👍and great car. I have a 2001 Z3 2.2i sport in silver, I bought it as a mid life crisis back in 2008 from a certain Nick Ford at a place called Romiley garage! I still own it and it makes me smile every time I drive it.😁
Had the privilege of a week in Bermuda with the Royal Navy. Loved it, and the Z3 is perfect for their roads.
Ah lovely
Bermuda??? Oh yeah, let's goo!
"No, Mr. Taxman. It was not a holiday. It was a work trip" 🙂 In the spirit of Liverpool .... "Calm down !". Sorry, I couldn't resist. Beautiful car. If you don't go to the Bahamas now, we'll all sulk
What a great new bit of content, hopefully there are 3 or 4 videos generated from this journey.
Ahh, Matt, Bermuda! Visited my sister there in 1992 . She worked there as an accountant. Flatts inlet, Mangrove Bay, Johnny Barnes R.I.P, on the Hamilton roundabout. Beautiful place.
Matt there one thing you totally forgot to do , a set of "high peak autos" number plates.
It'll have a new registration soon anyway.
Great video! Can’t wait to see it get collected on the other side 😎
Beautiful car 🤩 can’t wait for the Bermuda video 👍🏻😀
It makes such a huge difference when someone takes a proper care of their car regularly. I think it'd be your sunday car once you buy your house in Bermuda 👀 Have a nice weekend, Matt 🙂
Cracking example, and yes, it would be great to see it at the other end and everything that comes with it 👍🏻
Looking forward to a Bermuda vid Matt. I stayed with a friend in Paget a few years ago, but fell off my hired moped after a rainstorm - it suddenly turned the roads into oil slicks! Be careful in that Z3! 😂😂😂
Oh dear. Yes you have to be careful. Paget was where I lived (and was born too)
I was completely underwhelmed by these when they were current but now, a quarter of a century later, I think they look like a fun and cheap weekend toy.
It’s not always about being the fastest or flashiest.
I agree. It’s just classy. Like the old 507 BMW
Great video Matt, would be great to follow its journey 😎
I've been to Bermuda many times, my mate worked there, so I visited a lot and used his spare room as a base. Just the perfect island, unless you get nicked for speeding every time you drive a scooter when you visit 😂
I enjoyed this video a lot. Particularly looking forward to Bermuda!
That last sentence about needing to visit the car on arrival for the sake of us viewers is the best pitch I ever heard for a trip to be allowable on expenses! Great car and you did that guy in Bermuda a great service finding it and so thoughtfully preparing it. Thanks for this video and I look forward to the next one from your homeland of Bermuda!
Glad you enjoyed it. I’m going to book it. Why not
@@HighPeakAutos Great! I'm only mad jealous. Bonus is you explained how you know the place so well. Safe journey.
The sacrifices people make!
That tour sounds awesome look forward to it.
I look forward to seeing your Bermuda trip, I last went there some 40 years ago, my father lived and worked there before I was born and we very nearly moved there when I was a kid.
Great video - unusual - look forward to part 2 in Bermuda as a lot of trust/care in the hands of the shipping operatives!
Definitely follow up on this! Meeting it at the other end and the whole Bermuda things - YES!
This is quality content. I can't wait for the next part. Bermuda looks stunning, I've owned one of these 1.9 140bhp Z3's in black. Lovely cars. So much fun. And like you said Matt what a perfect little sports car for a tropical island 👌
Brilliant !
I can't wait until part 2.
Great post! Would love to see Bermuda!
Love these videos and how they make me appreciate liberty.
Brilliant video. My favourite all-time car. Drove one all around Spain several years ago. I'm looking forward to part 2.
As excited as I was to see the Z3, I was more excited when I noticed you filmed with it in and around Burtonwood - which is just round the corner from where I live.
thats a great idea matt look forward to watching than on bermuda
One of your best videos yet Matt. Brilliant 👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello Matt, what a cracking little soft top... sure it will enjoy it’s new life in Bermuda especially if you’re there to hand it over AND we get to see it. Vicarious car tourism, like your road trips but more exotic on this occasion. Get a flight finder website on the case!! Another great content... loved the ‘pool’ subtitles 🤣
Good vid Matt, you deffo need to get that flight booked to Bermuda 😉
Great video - hope you decide to do the Bermuda trip, would be nice to see it driving on the island
One of your very best videos, Matt. Yes, please give us lots of Bermuda content. I cannot wait to see what you will produce!
Thanks! Will do!
Looking forward to seeing it and possibly you here later in the year
So interesting! Looking forward to the Island Tour 🙂
Sounds great look forward to the tour of Bermuda
Nice one Mat, another good video
Matt, I bought a 2.0 z3 because of your last video you did on the black one, great fun wee car
Looking forward to the Bermuda video!
Great story Matt. Looking forward to the tour of Bermuda, and meeting the cars new owner.
Very enjoyable and interesting video Matt, you must do the follow up, your customer in Bermuda is going to be thrilled with this one.
Genuinely you going out to film everything would be amazing to see .hopefully you can make it happen. Really looking forward to watching it.
I'm looking forward to the Bermuda episode!!
Yes Matt great idea meeting theZ3.
Have a good holiday mate.
Awesome video, Matt. Looking forward to part 2 😎
Thanks! 👍
Yes please to a road tour Matt. I lived in Bda for a coule of years and miss the place lots. Driving an NV200 van for work in the middle of the night down tiny roads....Please take a run diwn Valley road for me!
I’m sure you arranged for the weather as well!
That is a lovely example of the Z3. If only I had a garage to put it in, then I would have one. I personally would have the 3 litre straight 6 but the 1.9 would be fine and would give you so much fun. Always enjoy your videos Matt and this one is no exception. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Great video Matt. Yes please do a follow up video and see the car arrive in Bermuda. That would make a great story. Thanks.😎😎😎
Lovely car Matt. I watch all your videos and they’re very entertaining and informative. I would love to see a tour of Bermuda. I’ve been housebound for the last 6 years and when I’m back on my feet and even though I live in Aberdeenshire I fully intend to have a car with High Peak Auto number plates sitting in my drive 🤓 Keep the brilliant videos coming 🤓
Somebody has to do it Matt. It will be great to follow its journey. An excellent example of. Once had a 1st date & the lady turned up in a blue Z3 & took me to a pub nr Preston. My one & only experience of a Z3. Looking forward to te follow up(s).
Great video something different from the norm and really interesting
Yes,,, defo follow the cars journey
Look forward to seeing the island
Great to see Mike and the mechanics have gave it lots of living years ( sorry, I know ) lucky lucky car going to live in Bermuda
Classic! Love it..
Definitely do the Bermuda trip.
Yes, it was quite interesting. Looking forward to the follow up video
Glad you enjoyed it
Appreciate you putting yourself through all of this Matt , you are an absolute Martyr, love this type of content, looking forward to seeing you roughing it in Bermuda 👍
Haha I’m dedicated to the cause
yes lets see the island and the auction thanks
Hello,
I enjoyed your Ford ST, video. I drove a Ford Festiva, in Paris, France. I found the shifting difficult.
Ok viewing your vids.
Great, video, great cinematography, audio and great product knowledge.
All the best,
Shaun, of New York City 🗽
Tour of Bermuda, including the Motorfest? Yes please!! 👏👏👏🤠
A once in a lifetime find, so yes please go and show us Bermuda
Definitely go to Bermuda. Want to see what its like!
great video Matt - tour of the island and the car show and who wins it
Amazing video - a great buy, shame you couldn't keep it for yourself. A tour of Bermuda sounds amazing. Great content as always :)
I loved the way Bermuda made u brim with pride & love
Good idea getting it waxoiled, as it will pretty much be in a salt air atmosphere for the rest of its days.
awesome video
Absolutely stunning car. Well saved Matt
Great video Matt you should definitely follow it to Bermuda. It would make great content.
That's the plan!
A nicely different post Matt and to be able to see this project through plus a look at your birthplace sounds great 👍 No backing down now, you’ve got to do it 😁
I will. I won’t let everyone down. Thanks 👍
Old man colour?! 🤣🤣🤣 Did Mike get subtitles because the sound was ropey or for the international audience? We love Bermuda, lovely island.
Tour of Bermuda sounds awesome. If you need someone to carry your bags I'm down 😉 on a serious note this particular Z3 is stunning and can only increase in value. Lovely "original'' car.
When we lived there my dad was a mechanic at the Esso garage opposite Port Royal Golf Course. He went to the port to pick up a brand new car for the man who owned the garage at the time which he'd just had imported. It was "too wide" due to the 1970's huge sticky out door handles. Luckily the car was collected, door handles changed and it was then OK. It was a bit posher than the Hillman Imp we had! LOL! Looking forward to seeing the island again on your future video.
That’s interesting
Get your flight booked...see you there.
My best mate died a few weeks back & had one inherited from his father. It was his pride & joy weekend driver. Lovely 2003 2.2 straight 6, iconic motor!! ❤
Great looking car Matt. Good to see one being saved and cherished rather than supercharged and turned into a bloody drift car! 😢
This was one of my favourite HP videos - original and entertaining. Well done! Next is a video of you sipping cocktails at your clients gaff with an update in due time! 😅
Haha that would be nice
Brilliant video
Oh I hope you do make that video, Yes it would be very interesting.
Such a pretty car heading off to such a pretty island. My sister-in-law had one of the first 2.8s in the UK back in the ‘90s, but sadly sold it when her first born arrived. Always loved the Zeddie.
Yes I think it would be a great follow up video. Had a z3 in Boston’s green 1.9. Great little car.
Have been thinking about this project and would be very interested in the costs involved and the result of the auction.
Triangle bound! Let’s gooo!!!
What a lovely car, from the Goldeneye era! You should definitely meet it off the ship! Deliver it personally!
Yeah! Show us Bermuda! We might like to got here.
You doing a tour and meeting your friend when he collects his Z3 would be a great video.
They always used to be derided as old farts' cars, but they are starting to look good now. I've had all versions of the Z4 over the last ten years and currently have a 20reg MSport 30i, but I wouldn't mind a Z3 now (as well of course! ;) ) especially a minter like that one. Yes - Bermuda - get yourself there and meet it! Great vid as usual. :)
Been to Bermuda a couple of times, absolutely love the place. Last time stayed at Cambridge beaches. Hired 2 scooters and buzzed round the island. Z3 would be perfect for the place.
Now you have got us at it!! We might just go back.
Lovely, that’s where David Bowie lived
What a minter. Nice vid, thanks Matt 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
See you on Bermuda😊👍
Sounds a plan !, I'll come with you!
Bermuda sounds perfect, the Z3 looks amazing 😍♥😍♥ great content as always, so could we have a tour of Bermuda please? Yeah fly over there, be great content
Can’t wait to see this over here. We do have one or two z4s and an SLK on island. A few old boys have the old triumph convertibles. Would love to know the costs to import.
