Thanks Emrat, some great arguments were made, very useful. Your logic puzzles me though. In the article, first you tell us there are 6 types of handles, then you want us to choose from 3 different types (ST,FL,AN), then you repeat there are 6 types, then show a list of 5 types. Then a table, also with 5 types. This could be more clear.

Very useful video, i play mid distance with a flare handle with edge tape on, my question is about the size of the hand, i have a rather small hand (short fingers) what is best for me coach ? does the size of the hand is a key factor too ? i've been playing for 7 years and always with heavy racket (Andro Treiber Z) 90g blade, maybe i should try something a little bit lighter too

Hi! Thank you for this video. In connection to grip type, what does the word "Master" indicate? I've noticed it when browsing blades. I believe it is some kind of wider, flared version but I'm not sure.

It's all about personal preference, it's not for sure one handle style is only good for one certain play style. Me have big hands with long finger playing FH looping more often, my hand feel hollow with FL handle, so I stick with AN handle blade and it gives me a great feeling when looping. Kong Linghui, whos expert at counter top-looping and choper-killer, is another example who plays with AN handle but can loop really well. So you have to try and feel it before you judge.

I am a new player. I have a flaired handle, but I tried a straight handle at my club and it filled my hand better. I wish there was a flair handle that was thicker (stiga offensive classic). Does grip tape ruin the feeling of vibration on the blade?

I use st handle with a loose grip but it doesn’t fly away when I loop the ball, I have good control over my game and looping with st handle. I’m forehand dominant but I still prefer st handle because it feels right to me.

I learned a few things (especially about size). But I feel better a FL handle for serving. The ST kind feels like it slips...
I agree about the ST and changing FH to BH, I guess playing styles may affect the desired effectiveness.

Does anyone know how the handle of Nittaku Acoustic ST LG or ST SG compares to Stiga Offensive Classic ST? I want to order Nittaku Acoustic online, but I dont know how it feels in my hand. The Stiga Offensive Classic ST fits me well. I havent met anyone in Norway that uses Nittaku Acoustic yet.

@Pratyaya Mandal I'm a hybrid player, i play on both shakehand and penhold to confuse the opponent. When i used a penhold raclet, it was very uncomfortable when i was using the penhold grip. My thumbs were numb, and my middle finger felt as if it was bended the other way around

If you doubt about your handle, chose ST, that one is the most standard for all kind of hands and grips, it won't be bad at any kind of grip and playstyles.
