I ordered and am awaiting delivery. I recently changed car, up until this car I have been using Swissvax Best of Show, but with my new car I went for full PPF and Gyeon Ceramic. The depth of colour and gloss with the Swissvax product took some beating, so it will be interesting to see how this compares.
If you coat your car and put the GYEON wax on top it seems like you get the durability and protection of a coating with the less water spot prone nature of a wax.
If you are looking for spectacular waxes you should look at Mitchell and King as they specialise in Handmade hand poured waxes in Scotland. My current favorite is Cardinal which beads water as well as my Mini with a Gyeon 5 year coating that had its first maintenance wash on Thursday there. Liked and subscribed as I purchased that product on Thursday and sold the car on Monday that has the coating on it so slightly redundant but I have car coming for a detail that has a coating on it so not a total waste.
This two waxes is just the comparison i wanted to see! but sadly your test is useless, nobody is going to do that to their car after waxing, some might even reapply wax after each wash. The REAL test would be to set the panel in the sun and let it cook, most waxes actually fail when you park your car in the sun while you are out and about, heat is the number 1 cause of failure, not throwing chemical on them. Hope this helps with the content mate
This is perfect for a black car, it is honestly the easiest wax to buff off ever, you need to leave it half hour from memory to set, little tip with any wax less is more might be why you get a greasey finish
It's great on any colour tbh but met paint really does pop. Regards to durability it really is a while I did my car with it the same day as the video and its still going after 2 washes
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING I would hope so after 2 washes I have been using the turtle wax ceramic spray that was still going strong after nearly 12 months and many washes
All depends on conditions also so many factors is your car garaged etc and we're it's kept and usage to and how it's cleaned and products used to clean glad your enjoying it tho really rate it. Will be doing a turtle wax review soon on flex graphene
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING yeah it’s garaged mate only out on weekends mostly. I washed it 1st time in about 2 months since waxing it and it’s absolutely awesome mate it’s like it just drys it’s self 😆 looks stunning I think best my rs has ever looked won’t be changing over to anything else I do t think might try it in the misses daily see how long it lasts in the Aussie weather
The Gyeon applicator looks a bit too soft, is that why you prefered the usual round applicator? Is that why you possibly over applied as well? I might of skipped over it but how long did you leave the Gyeon before you started the wash tests?
Yeah It's really soft if your doing a door sill or somthing thin it will be really good but for a big panel a round one feels more comfortable but that's just my opinion. Yes you seem to get alot of product on there it being in a tube hard to tell how much was there if that makes sense. Was around 2 hours or so left in the sun after buffing off so a while.
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING cheers for the reply. Shame it’s soft, i know exactly what you mean about trying to do a lrage panel. Hate the feeling of the applicator being left behind when your moving over the paint. Nice initial beading though.
Don't apply wet coat before the wax the wax needs to be applied to a clean surface use gyeon prep 1st then apply wax. Use wet coat as a maintenence top up
Hello Kiran, I have the turtle polish and wax and the turtle ceramic hybrid protection, would you recommend a wax on top of those? In that case I was thinking about gyeon wax, collinite476 or fusso99, any recommendation?
Hi Jose I think if you have all them products already you don't really need it the turtle wax ceramic spray I assume ? but if you want to try the gyeon and yoy like detailing then go get the gyeon I really like it easy to use and gloss is unreal
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING I have the polish and ceramic spray from turtle, but wanted to add more durability, I have doubts wether to buy fusso99 or gyeon for a last coat. Would you apply first the ceramic spray and then the wax or the opposite?
@@JoseMartinez-kc3hv in my opinion the turtle wax ceramic spray will have longer durability then any wax as long as you put 2 coats on let it cure for 24hours and use a pH neutral shampoo to maintain it. The gyeon wax is a great product better then fusso. But yes you can put on top of your current coatings

I have a coated car and use this as a topper get alot less waterspots now
I used the megs for years and always loved it... the only issues was winter weather with salt on the roads seem to kill it ....
Try this gyeon wax I think you will be happy with the durability on that dude

Nice review bro was interesting this one it shows Maguires decent product
Thank you bro
I think you might have applied way too much Gyeon! It really only needs a very thin layer. Love the stuff though! And thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching Andrew 🙏🏼
I have Can Coat on my sould red Miata. Would you suggest i use Gyeon Cure or Gyeon Wax?
You can top it off with cure, yes, buddy

All depends buddy so many factors but easily a few months :)
I didn't understand very well in English, but could you tell me what you thought? Is it worth buying? I'm from Brazil
Yes go buy great product

Just put mine on today on top of can coat and it looks mint

Just a thought can coat alone is better then gyeon wax as it's more ceramic based
For the geyon wax, You have to let it set for 30 minutes before you wipe it off
Absolutely the wax was left for the 30 minutes before the wipe off. I just didn't leave it the 24hour cure time.
