Livingston take on Ross County this afternoon on a day where the home side could say goodbye to their top flight status after six seasons in the Scottish Premiership. David Martindale knows that his side must not lose today or their fate will be sealed come 5:00 p.m. this evening. However, in reality, a draw will also leave Livingston needing snookers with them 12 points behind Ross County with only four games left after this one. Ross County, well, they've been on a bit of a mini resurgence of their own under the third manager of the Season, Don Cowie. Recently, they've taken notable scalps picking up points against Hearts and Hibs as well as that result that sent shocks waving through Scottish Football last time out, beating Rangers for the first time in their history. Will Livingston be able to pull off the greatest of all escapes, or will Ross County consign the Lions to championship football next season? It all gets underway here today at 3 p.m.
    Livingston FC fans reaction transcript:
"Tough ask, like. I think a lot of the Livi supporters have come up here. We're basically here for a relegation party because I think we all know what's been going on around the club at the moment. But I'm sure the players that are out there will give it their best, you know? But, uh, I think we left that bit too late, and we're already planning for next season, you know? The supporters, you know, and I would imagine the people upstairs, you know. So fingers crossed, you know, we have a good account today, and hopefully it's not too bad for us.
We're obviously glad we need a win, and Ross County knows they come here and get a draw at least, that will probably do them. Ross County been playing well recently, got a good result against Rangers recently as well, and they'll be up for it. And so, our form's not been great. It's pretty pessimistic about it, to be honest with you. I think it's only a matter of time before relegation comes, to be honest with you, and then probably more hoping towards next season. I think Livingston have definitely got to win it, but if they don't win it, I'm not too concerned because we can rebuild for next season in a lower division. Well, I think it's massive because Dav's already said that there's at least what, 12, 13, 14 players are going to be leaving the club.
So hopefully, you know, we can rebuild, you know, and you know, we've done it before. Hopefully, we can do it again. But, you know, it's so tough, you know, this league. You know, as I say, we've been here for six, seven years and you know, we've got a good, you know, punched above our weight, you know, most of the other supports that come here know that we've done that. It's a tough league, everybody knows it's a tough league. It's probably one of the most competitive leagues anywhere in Europe. On any given day, anybody can beat anybody.
Yeah, it's going to be a tough one. Not many teams go down and then bounce straight back from the championship. If they do, it's a remarkable feat. But, you know, you can only hope. I do believe that's going to be the case. It'll be more exciting football instead of getting beaten almost every other week. It's going to be tough, you know. I would imagine it would depend on what's going to happen during the close season, you know, the various players that are going to be coming in. Obviously, there's going to be a lot of people leaving. Like, you know, I thank them, you know, for their services, um, but, you know, it's going to be tough because there's a lot of few teams that are, you know, bigger teams than Livingston, to be fair, you know. But, uh, you know, haven't said that, like, you know, we'll be here, you know, the loyalty, the support this year, like, we're loyal. We follow, we back the team, like, you know, and back the club as well."

I actually applaud fans of the smaller clubs tbh. Must be so difficult trying to get people to the stadium when Celtic and sevco are just down the road! Saying that but, I will not miss that abomination of a pitch or wee rab mglinchey in the dug out! 🤣🤣🤣

Bye bye Livi. You won't be missed in the slightest. You are everything a club should not be. Disappear into oblivion and give us all a break.

Get youngsters in the area supporting Livi but they auld guys must have supported another team then just jumped . Weird behavior but I hope relegation doesn't lead them to falling off their alcoholism wagon
