I always looked for signs when I played in high school and college. If you can get them great, baseball is a game of wits. Houston shit on the essence of baseball. 🤯
You can steal signs but you can’t use electronics to do so.
What would be really interesting, the Astros lose their tv deal for televised games. In turn, this makes the fans mad. The front office loses money and can't pay their cheaters. Two three years down the road, the whole roster has flipped into something that resembles the Marlin's. Former players are essentially boycotted from the game and forced to play overseas. But it won't ever happen, because tv wants their money more than doing the right thing.

@@matteorotelli4693 Jomboy Media was one of the first CZcams channels to do a breakdown of an actual event of them cheating. He went and pulled up some old games, and boosted the audio so you could hear the garbage cans being hit and gave a little narration of it. His video really blew up.

Im from Houston and Im a Braves fan but I like the Astros, I was so happy to see them win the world series and it really united all of Houston, and it pissed everyone to hear that they cheated, worst of all, the guy who got blamed the most, Altuve, didnt even cheat and was an amazing guy who was respected a lot before

I don’t know if altuve was cheating, in my unbiased opinion there’s really no way to tell. My biggest annoyance with this whole scandal was the lack of punishment and the lack of accountability. The astros acted like they weren’t cheating and that really pissed off a lot of people. Is it ok to be a fan of the astros? Yes. But you kinda have to admit that they did something wrong.

The Yankees and Dodgers both blew leads because they can’t pitch, the Astros pitching rotation and staff were so far superior to the Yankees and Dodgers they blew their leads. However, the Nationals has a good pitching staff and rotation and good batting lineup and look they won in a game 7 contest for the ages
While Scherzer and Strasburg are incredible pitchers, the Nats also went into the World Series knowing that the Astros were cheaters. They prepared multiple sets of signs in order to prevent sign stealing.
Corbin too. Nationals pitching was insanely good. Scherzer is one of the best in the league as well
SN Drag Race Completely agree the top 2 staffs in the league were so clearly the Nationals and Astros its not even funny and voila they played in the chip and no one cheated that year. The Astros probably wins by a hair because Gerrit Cole and Max Scherzer is push, Justin Verlander and Starsburg is insanely close but I got Berlander by a hair, and the real reason the Astros pitching staff was a little bit better is Zack Greinke is quite a bit better than Corbin Martin who is good as well but not the Ace Zach is.

I thought their roster was better than the Nationals overall... I'm a huge Capitals fan in hockey, so I gotta cheer for Washington teams (Nats included) I'm just happy they got it done, but it seemed like they were the underdogs. Either or, I agree with your stance; the fact there were signs and all and they still couldn't get the best of Scherzer (and Strasburg/Corbin) shows how good of pitchers they are and how prepared Washington was.
Kershaws response was spot on. He could’ve blamed them for his and the teams performances and he didn’t. He like all of us want more transparency. Respectful, objective, and professionalism from Clay.

After his team lost the World Series, I think his press conference was subtle but more telling of his feelings towards the organization. I can’t recall a time where a player washed his hands so quickly with being part of a team. He change out of his uniform quick. It looked like passive aggression at its finest.

In that year he was trying to come back and making strides in his delivery. He went to the Cubs my feeling is to start fresh. Imagine if Dodgers had won in 2017. Trades, contracts, etc all changes. The Astros did not just cheat against the Dodgers. They cheated against the Cubs, Yankees..all major league teams. Trophy needs to be nullified. No winner for 2017. The entire team had to know what was going on. It is strange that someone did not step up and say, "Hey we are not going to get away with that."
