Honestly, this doesn't look like African government school at all.
I'm surprised this is just government school.
    It looks like a university.
Wow! No wonder education is really seen in Ghanaians.

In Ghana, Governments Secondary Schools have better infrastructure compared to Private Secondary and most of the best students go to Government Secondary Schools. The children of thr extremely rich, poor, politicians, labourer. Professor and all others go to Government Secondary School.

It's absolutely satisfying to know that here in Ghana, public SHS and universities are the go-to and more cherished than the private ones. Same cannot be said for the lower-level schools though, in terms of quality.

    • @jwills3347

Government destroyed the basic schools by letting private schools take over. From 40s to 80s...public schools reigned. Most of our politicians never attended private basic schools. So, what changed? The quality has dropped tremendously. The irony is ...those who go through the private basic schools fight for spaces in the public senior secondary schools.

There are so many of our children who are not in school. I am also sadden to know that the situation in Nigeria is not much to write about. For Africa and west Africa to succeed, we need Nigeria to be successful. Nigeria is such a crucial part to Africa that we wont go far with a successful Nigeria. Thanks

Ghanaians don't appreciate their government is understandable because of corruption here and there, but one thing is certain when they come to power both the NPP and NDC will invest our money into education if your child doesn't take advantage of it he or she will be missing out. That is the only thing am proud of in the Ghanaian government, all other things I'm not. I bash them if they go wrong and I applaud them if they get it right. In Ghana nobody goes to a private senior high school, everybody goes to government SHC, including the politician children. We are all mixed, the poor, the middle class, and the super-rich we all go to the same school.
