Your health insurance covers all your children and it can be renewed online once it's expired without going to their various offices. I am living in Germany 🇩🇪 but i have my health insurance in Ghana 🇬🇭 and it still covers my 2 kids back home.

The only money we paid was 2000 cos they ordered emergency medicine they were in short off outside the country from one hospital at south Africa. If i dont have insurance we might have paid almost 20k plus. God bless Ghana

I remember all the things my university mates from Nigeria used to think we have it better in Ghana and I didn’t even see it. You’re right, we must sometimes pause and thank our past and previous leaders for what they have done no matter how much we feel they have not done enough, at least they have each put some things in place. We all just hope for a better Africa. The corruption is really costing us a lot.

We have now upgraded from paper to paperless system so all ur information will be in the system. If you get treated and u recorver but find a way to runaway without paying, anytime u fall sick n u go to any hospital, the moment they add ur Health Insurance number to the system, it will pop up that u r owning( the health insurance system doesn’t cover all the medical conditions but covers up to 80% of it and it doesn’t cover ur stay at the ward. It depends on the hospital u r admitted. Some takes 10 cedis per night).
