- Minecraft 1.19 has a handful of really tough mobs like the wither and the warden. Today we take a look at every boss, including the enderdragon, as well as some tricky mobs like the bastion's piglin brute, and talk about how to beat them easily! This guide was made in Minecraft 1.19 but is valid for Minecraft 1.21 too!

@@Master_Brutus yea it is not a boss they just include it sometimes as boss is because they like are mini boss of the monumnets. Evokers are even stronger than elder guardians
@9:48 I would add that a water bucket is still a good thing to have in case you accidentally look at an Enderman or three, you can dump the water at your feet, stand in the middle, and they can't get to you.

Skelly Horses are considered Undead Mobs, and as such they are easily injured and killed with Smite and Sweeping Edge. Keep a pack of Tamed Wolves around, then unleash them on the Skelly Riders. And they will pick each and every one clean off their Horses, without harming a hair on any of them, lol. Also, Trap Horses do not spawn from Channeling or within a considerable range of Lightning Rods. So be careful when using them as decorations in your builds.
About the end portal method for spawning the wither, always double check the coordinates and make sure that the 'tail' of the T shape is at exactly at 0x 0z position in order to trap the wither once she is summoned. Otherwise, she can escape. Also, make sure that there are exactly 2 air gaps between the template blocks and the bedrock blocks.

Almost like: if you cant run, crawl! You will still get there in the end, but it helps if you are crawling in the right direction at least :D)
OH... F3 AND the B-key (java) .. great idea showing those hitboxes. My bow-shooting-skill really is the worst! (At hitting the side of the mountain 50% of the time-level ;D , and that is when I am aiming for it! )

@@kenkrayzee1382 Yeah it was really chaotic. Some of the people from the stream hadn't played in a while, some had no gear, so it was just hilarious watching people getting slayed by endermen. Then a race to see who got the last arrow into the dragon...

Newish player (~1 year). I never considered using boats with the Brutes, I will definitely do that now! Never fought mounted skeleton horses before...looks fun. I have defeated everything else, though!

Personally I would take the Raid as a whole and rank it as a boss itself.

Another strat with the piglin brutes is to pillar up two blocks and dump lava on them. Easy way to kill them without angering other piglins

@@xwolf87x33 I know it worked at one point, but you had to align to a particular direction, because I did it last year, but I guess 1.19 fixed that at some point. Now I get to decide if I am going to fight the Wither in the End or just scrap the world.
I wouldn’t scrap your world! Change to ‘peaceful’ and it will Despawn.
Literally trying to do this now and it wasn’t working for me (bedrock). glad I didn’t keep messing with it and spawn it and be screwed lol
@@coreyandash4455 I lured it into the sky so high that it has nothing to target and bring it back down. It may show up one day, but probably not before 1.20 drops, at which point I will be starting a new world anyway.

There's an even easier way to kill the ender dragon laid out by ianxofour. By building up to around y148 (if I remember right) and bridging to 0 0, you can put down an obsidian or endstone with water on it. The dragon will get trapped here out of range of the crystals unable to do anything. As long as you stay out of melee range you can just bow him down. You can even punch it to death if you're careful. While bridging, the only danger is his projectiles which are very easy to hear coming and easier to avoid. If you bring bottles, you can even clear the dragons breath if it gets in your way.
Whoa, that sounds interesting. (I have never been to the End yet, because I am terrible at shooting even at stationary items/mobs.)

Don’t forget wither in deep slate with iron golums. They wreck the wither really fast and it’s hilarious to watch.
If you have gunpowder, dye, and paper, you can make fireworks and use them to kill the wither quickly too!

Question: Since neither endermen can grab endstone nor can the dragon break it, if you flattened the main island out to be just one block thick how far could you equidistantly spread the endstone out?
Follow up question: how many gateway islands would you have to then take apart to fill in the space out to all 20 of the gateway portals?
Theres another easy way to kill wither pre end, just dig down, make tunnel like 50-70 blocks not sure, spawn and just shot him with bow from the distace, in second phase just hit him with sword, you will take some dmg but he doesmt fly around so its easy to hit him
Bring some iron golems with you, they‘ll do most of the work

elder gaurdian is easy, those of you wondering. Water breathing potions, if you want, then you take out the minions. in the room with the elder gaurdian hit, then circle around a piller before your next hit, to cancel the beam. if you get mining fatigue have a milk bucket.

In early game if you want to take out a skeleton in a horse then if you have a dog with you the dog will attack the skeleton but won’t attack the skeleton horse and during that time even if you get closer it won’t attack you and you can also hit it.This is also an another method to kill a skeleton horse

Fyi that wither trap doesn't work consistently anymore, in fact it doesn't work most of the time now, as they can phase through single layers of bedrock sometimes
You should probably have specified that half of these strategies are java exclusive especially the end portal wither thing. It would not be a good idea to try that on bedrock

Bedrock made Warden fight easy. Eat one god apple and one strength pot, with protection 4 netherite or diamond armor and spam warden while walking backwards

Gotta admire that even in a guide tutorial video, wattles still ignores the sheer existence of shields.
Shields really restrict your field of vision, so not good for filming tutorials I guess?
(I usually play without because I cannot see enough.../ also: builder, not a fighter or speedrunner, so differrent needs)
@@muurrarium9460 you're not missing that much. I've been getting more into the adventuring side and ticking off advancements. Only used the shield for its advancement, then dumped the thing in the server's user shop. A good set of armor, elytra, and tools, mostly netherite, and most threats aren't that big of a deal. As Wattles pointed out for the dragon, patience can be a better tool than charging in.
Also, for both adventuring and building - Optifine dynamic lighting with torches in the offhand!
@@VoltisArt That souds like fun too :) (the adventuring part) I started playing java not too long ago (and have had many months of no play in between). Right now my worlds are on a harddrive that is being "rescued" (fingers crossed) from certain death after my computer died (had powerissues, blackout and it went *poof*), but I will try it your way :)
(had just found my first netherite/ the nether really scared me!)

Nah, the easiest way to deal with piglin brutes is iron golems. They attack all types of piglins on sight. Bring a stack of iron blocks and another of jack-o-lanterns. All you have to do is knock down any barriers then get out of the way.

Please do the bed method to finish the dragon... I once saw a player did that (not Dream) and it's really fast. He did not even need to destroy the crystals and with only 6 bed he destroyed the Dragon... Please show us.
Honestly Minecraft is starting to get decent,they should replace the ender dragon bossfight with like for example: a synx bossfight
To kill the wither but actually fightning with ityou can go to the nether roof: it wont be able to destroy anything and itll be much easier
What about beds to kill the dragon it takes only 5 or 7 to kill the dragon

i don't play on bedrock, but would making a long-a$$ tunnel not work? that's how i used to do it before i started cheesing.
@herbalt It likes to go vertical on Bedrock, and I believe the end portal method was patched out.

Others have tried and now have a very angry pet. The version used may make a difference; I'm on Java and haven't looked this up.

The wither farms never work for me I don't know why it just spawns outside the trap

-Spawns without player intervention (a big rule breaker for boss mobs)
-No boss bar
The Elder Guardian is NOWHERE near boss levels. Mojang probably meant for it to be a miniboss, cause thats what the Elder Guardian is: a miniboss, but barely one due to how weak it is.
Same for the Ravager, its a miniboss as wel.

***AN EVEN EASIER WAY TO KILL THE WARDEN???***
I happen to have my own warden killing solution. Put a torchlight path between you and where the warden spawned. The torches are something to follow during darkness effect. By the way, when I said "between you and where the warden spawned," I mean "you," as in a little built structure, big enough to hold a bed and a chest. A little hut I guess you could say. One purpose of this hut, you need to get a little bit of distance from it's spawn point, it turns out, other wardens can potentially spawn as well. The other more important purpose is, the warden cant fit through a regular one by two doorway. All you actually really need is that doorway, your bed spawn point next to said doorway, and a really strong weapon and no need for armor and anything else. You just simply set your spawn point and let yourself get killed as many times as it takes to kill the Warden. This way all you need to do is pick up your sword from wherever it dropped (since it's literally the only thing you have) and continue killing. The warden doesn't regain health when you die, so no worries. Just make enough noise for him to come back so that you could continue killing him.
Make sure your not in it for the exp. when doing this procedure. Exp is redundant for this particular activity anyway, that's right, I said redundant. There's no point in trying to keep exp when all it gives you is a skulk catalyst which literally breeds you more exp. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you could even execute this procedure early game, as long as you have a really good sword, a chest to keep your belongings, and also as recommended, food, and your bed to continue respawning, then your good as gold!! Oh and a hut with a 1/2 doorway and a torchlight path between it and the warden spawn. . . . . . . Good as gold!!😃👍
i did something similar in my last world, except i had stumbled into the city from above by tunneling straight down with a water bucket. it opened into a big cavern right on the edge of the city, so i built a little room right in the bottom layers of the "ceiling" with a portal, bed, and chest for my stuff. once i summoned him i just floated halfway down the water stream and shot him with my bow. He couldn't reach me, but i was still in range of the sonic boom. So i would just get one-shot, respawn back up in the room, rinse and repeat, probably dying 5 times or so. I also replaced the floor of my room with glass after the first time i died so i could look down and figure out where he went and if it was safe to come down and grab my bow.
@@herbalt So it was basically the same thing, only you used a bow and I used a sword. I guess the exp really doesn't matter when fighting the Warden, as long as you can get your stuff back and spawn right there and keep fighting. I call this method IDFIG (I'll die for infinite gain) since all you get is catalysts, only enabling skulk exp farms, but it's basically dying for that farm. Of course you could just silk touch natural spawned catalysts and find them in ancient city chests but that's still limited. This is an infinite source, plus it's kinda fun just torturing the Warden.
