Wattles is The Man, but might I recommend watching Prowl8413 also. His Bedrock Guide Season 3 is perfect for beginners, but is also full of excellent useful information for more seasoned players that have been around for years. His live streams are what drew me to his content, but he is funny, charming and good at what he does. He isn't scared to admit when he makes a mistake and make fun of himself a little too. Plus, if you go to the comment section of his videos you will find tons of other tips tricks and useful info that comes from his community as well. I only watch 3 MC Content creators... Wattles, Prowl and IBXToyCat of course!
Your Nether portal looks good. I use a bucket of lava and short acting button (stone) instead of water to break the portal. Lava flows so slow in the overworld that it is retracted before getting anywhere. This frees up the build to not have to account for overflow.

Flying machines are cool for bamboo and sugarcane farms.
Make a big field of one of these and put flying machines to harvest them, you will have more crops than you know what to do with.
One thing you can do with the clock tower, is to install a bell so that away if you aren't looking a the clock tower you still hear it.

for the respawn anchor one, you could make it cheaper by replacing the redstone dust above observer with a solid block.

Love the Nether portal, Wattles; that's one of my favorites. I actually use Powder Snow Bucket in the dispenser, it's waaaay less messy. ;)

In bedrock, you can actually place chests in flying machines to deliver your itens!

What about a skulk sensor for the water release (on nether portal) that is near the door/exit to the portal room. That way it will close the portal as you leave the room, no need for a button.
There is actually a lot you can do with chiseled bookshelves, I'm interested to see where we will see this in contraptions come 1.20.

You can use furnaces instead of obsidian to stop flying machines
Definitely like the second one. Ideally for a bridge to cross an open section of space between a build I think is how I'm gonna use it.

Flying machines dont work anymore they just move back and forth now just fyi for anyone trying to build one like this from now on (noteblocks dont even give off a signal when you hit them anymore)

The flying machine will be great for my realm with my buddies. We got a bit of a cruddy seed and everywhere we go aside from the plains we live in is endless ocean or ice biome and even using the nether 1:8 truck we cannot seem to get past the ocean no matter how far we go. This will use less obsidian and digging and as we fly, albeit slower than running down a nether hall, we'll we able to see around where we are and where we're going
Season 3 was the best ngl. As much as i love the current series theres something about the previous one that i really liked.

The way the redstone circuit behind the bookcases work seems so arcane, with how it counts lines of redstone dust and all...

First build is common sense wattles
Oh I get how the circuit works. So if you go over the require redstone signal, the torch is off but the repeater will get a signal and send it over to the piston which keeps door lock. If you go under, the torch doesn't turn off so there is still a signal going to the piston. You have to hit the required signal exactly to have both the torch off and the repeater untouched.

Mr. Wattles I'm having an issue with making the iron farm. I've got everything set up just like in your videos, but my villagers aren't scared of the zombie in the center. They all have beds they have slept in and I've tried 2 different zombies, but still no dice. I'm not sure why it won't work. Please help
You could use powder snow instead of water also

Wattles, I'm struggling a little bit. My flying machine seems to be incapable of functioning in life. It will reverse for an odd reason, and 1/10 of the times actually make it to the other side. Heck it's rare if it goes to the middle of the two obsidian blocks. Any comments?
