What happened to Yasushi and Meru u asked: apparently they broke up after they left the restaurant and blamed each other for their downfall after realizing that Haru became president and married Natsumi the daughter of a famous chairman. Yasushi was fired from his tv station company because he messed up his work, made too many mistakes and harassing 3 female employees and what one of Haru's friends said is true, Meru tries to find a job but due to her terrible personality, its became useless. And unbelievably, both Yasushi and Meru both got themselves arrested when they tried to trespass into Haru and Natsumi's house to steal item as revenge but they're too stupid to realize that there's security cameras installed the house. The police arrived to arrest them and what's more shocking is that when the police investigation the incident and found the book that has evil plans written in Yasushi, it was discovered that both Yasushi and Meru were responsible for Haru's previous company have gone bankrupt by embezzlement, so they were charged for obstruction of business, fraud and embezzlement, they're sentence to prison for 6 months.
Sentence for life in prison is too extreme for fraud and embezzlement crime. Besides, it's more like homicide if you ask me.

Is the male seiyuu's mic broken or something? His voice sounds distorted. Also, he needs to change it up. Haruma, Yasushi, the old man and the male classmates all sound exactly the same (it could be his mic).

There must be a way of lowering that guy's voice a little bit? Nice story, I'm pretty sure I've heard it before. A couple of funny things to add to the story would be the main character telling his father-in-law about the betraying couple,, and since it's not appropriate for me to wish her any ill will, what would you do father? Or having an event planned for the betraying couple on their wedding day,, with strong dose of explosive laxatives!?

Is it just me or one of Haruma's classmates in the last scenes look like a red-haired Shinji Matou from the Fate series? (Well, at least I think he's more normal than Shinji...) Well, it's an anime-based place, so...
The formula seems to be repeated a lot in romcom mangas like this. I've been so familiarized with this format thanks to especially AoHaru Manga Library (and sometimes Romcom Manga-Chan), but it's always a good thing to relax and watch about this story of 'Unlucky man & wholesome girl vs Gold-Digging ex and GF-stealing smug 'best friend''.
This channel seems to be at least use more varying names, so I believe that Haruma is the only Haruma in this verse, instead of having a Multiverse of Haruma as with the Multiverse of Kent Honda and Keiichi Sato. I remember watching another video with this, and I think the protagonist might look similar, but he's not named Haruma.
Still, the one thing that catches me on is that Haruma goes through a relatable crap in Japan, I think they take 'work background' more seriously, so that's why he gets rejected a lot just because of the Sukatto incident. Getting dumped was just icing the cake for him.
Overall, a different flavor of the 'Unlucky man & wholesome girl vs Gold-Digging ex and GF-stealing smug 'best friend' kind of story. It's like eating your favorite food in a restaurant: You have your favorite restaurant and the one you think has the best favorite food, but you keep looking for new restaurants to see how others vary.

Yasushi and Meru may be a couple, but they’re a couple of scumbags for doing what they did to Haru after his former workplace went bankrupt. Once those two found out that Haru became the president of the company that Natsumi’s dad was in charge of(thanks to Haru and Natsumi getting married), they were literally kissing his ass just to do business but he said no. What a bunch of kiss asses.

Bad ending: Yasushi and Meru burned down Haruma’s house. They mocked him because Haruma did not give Meru a job. His actions had consequences. They laughed at them. Meru gave a punch to Haruma and they both left.
