In the HUB Essentials Checklist you listed it did not support "Deep Sleep can be Disable" I am currently using a MSI 321URX monitor and in settings you can change the power button to "Standby" which makes the power button only turn off the panel and backlight instead of the default setting OFF which turn off the whole monitor including the KVM switch.
When using this setting I believe it provides a option to disable deep sleep or a similar behaviour to having deep sleep disabled where it prevents issues I have when the monitor is turned off such as HDMI hot-plug detection issues when using dual monitors (Windows 10 disconnecting the monitor ) and my USB devices on the KVM switch turning off.
I consider this a useful feature on this monitor especially for OLED monitor to be able to turn of the screen without having to reposition things on Windows and also not having my keyboard and mouse on the KVM switch turn off when the monitor is off.

    Thanks Tim.
I would buy this over the ASUS due to the flat base. The Asus monitor legs block my keyboard. The superior burn-in mitigation is also very important. My Samsung S95B had a line running from top to bottom within 1 week of purchase but Samsung replaced the panel for me within a week so I would spend the extra and buy from authorised dealers rather than ship the unit from US to Singapore.
I'd be switching screen off within 3 minutes so using this in office app should be fine and I don't need Dolby Vision since I only use AMD GPU. Let's see what other brands offer. The UI for all my devices are dark mode anyway so power usage for OLED should be fine.
Once the screen lit up, the purple tint is not noticeable for the Samsung S95B so I'm hoping this gen of QD-OLED monitor will be fine in bright daylight. I sit beside the windows but I think 400 nits should be fine.

Another great review. I already bought the AW3225QF, but it's always nice seeing these reviews. I know Reddit has a hard on for the ASUS monitor, but a lot of the added features it has over other monitors are pretty niche for most users. The price premium for the ASUS monitor just doesn't make sense for most countries it seems. In Canada it's a 400 dollar price premium for the ASUS over the Alienware. I just can't justify that much more money for a few features I genuinely don't care about. And with MSI only being 50 dollars cheaper and longer wait time, Alienware was right up my alley.

hi, thank you so much for the review
This will be my 1st OLEd and 1st HDR monitor and i am a bit lost with what i have to do.
    For what i understand :
    -Turn on all brun-in protections
    -Activate sRGB profile
    -THEN turn on HDR
-Chose the 1000nit peak brighteness setting
And then i'm good to go ? And whrn i disable HDR in windows it will go in sRGB mode, and when i turn on HDR in Windows it will switch to the HDR mode ?
    Am i missing something ?
Also, is there any good reason to use the Gaming Intelligence software besides just having easier control of the options ?
    Thanks

Prices in Europe for those monitors are really weird right now.
For example, the Alienware AW2725DF costs 889€ on Dell's website but the lowest price I could find for the MSI MPG 271QRX was 999€ which doesn't make any sense.
And it's the same thing for the AW3225QF which costs 1120€ vs 1350€ for the MSI MPG 321URX.

May I ask if you could add recommendation to hybrid users ( gaming and productivity)? Things like how text look like, and burn in for someone using word or excel or coding.
In that regard would you recommend oled monitors? or should I seek for a IPS-Black or another type of panel for the best quality in gaming and media posible?

For an extra 50 dollars, I went with the AW version. MSI has a history of being weird in terms of customer service and I've had zero issue with Dell's customer service. And Dolby Vision while hit and miss right now, is at least an added benefit and a firmware update is coming in March anyway. The only thing Dell sucks at is packaging. It's embarrassing that they don't ship these monitors with a screen protector. MSI does.
