Mates are mates but they need to appreciate the money they save by having you do work. Asking for your mate to cop the amount for clocks maybe not so much but absolutely for fuel/time/labour pay out/use of your knowledge, unit etc. Not much to ask when you compare it to standard charges from another garage! I don't comment to much but I really enjoy your videos as it feels like I'm just hanging out watching you work and learning along the way. Thats exactly what its all about. You are a natural youtuber/presenter, very informative and engaging. Thanks for your time, effort and knowledge. It's greatly appreciated Nathan. Also to note. It's nice having a spotless garage/unit but rarely does it happen nor stay that way and as long as you're happy, so are we. Stay safe. AHH YEAHHHH

I do have the milwaukee angle impact. It's a great tool to have however I feel it is not strong enough for the tasks I needed it for. I guess it is what it is, the compact size limits the hammer weight hence it limits it's possibilities and power. 2,5s can give real headaches, so those are the engines to avoid. They have sh1tload of unique and new solutions (for it's era) that VW did not implement in later engines. Aluminum block with about 120 micron of sprayed on steel coating in the cylinders, gear driven timing with the aircon compressor, water pump, and generator if I recall correctly, unique PD elements which is different from any other PD engines. They can have issues with the cylinder lining wearing out and obviously there is no way to overbore them. They have sometimes the exhaust manifold cracking, camshaft wearing out, hydraulic lifters wearing out, numerous oil leaks from the timing, etc. They they are good they are fun to drive, but when they start to have issues it could be expensive to fix. Get it fixed asap and let it go :D
Hey bud thanks for the feedback on the Milwaukee tool 👍 I have also read many horror stories about the 2.5’s but it sounds like you know plenty more than me, it does run and drive nice now but it would be on my mind if it’s going to let me down in the middle of bo where.
