Sleds keep getting more expensive while the snow keeps melting.
Snow isn’t the problem here. Money is the problem.
That’s where I’m at. Don’t want to pay 17k for a sled that I have to trailer every time I want to ride.

Excellent review Mark. The quality coming form Ski doo is top notch. I just hope they can keep it that way. That left control cluster appears to be high quality and has a good quality feel but could use some ergonomic work and yes the start button needs to be colored different. I love that sled.

I think Skidoo should add the limiter strap knob for even more adjustability. I know it’s for the Xover / mountain but still , I would like that Skidoo .

MHM, maybe not a sledge hammer but a rubber mallet or plastic ball pean is most ideal on the over nighters parked in cold storage 🥶 🧊 😂 great vid and looking forward to the season ahead!
Biggest take away for me is that build quality and quality of materials seems to have improved. Hard to say for sure until I see one up close. Colors on the metals and plastics look excellent. Everything seems to fit together tightly.
A man of knowledge is that and much much more. I still like the elan .250 1972, also, I enjoy your introduction of the Arctic Cat, Thunder Cat crossing " Kevlar " Lake. i am still with " old " snowmobiles as I do not believe I can even access a spark plug on these new machines. My 1997 Arctic Cat,

Great walk around Mark. Thanks for starting the engine, the Ski-doo starter sounds so nice compared to my Polaris ( I believe you called the Polaris starter ball bearings in a tin can sound a couple of years ago). So, how does the Gen 5 handle compared to the Gen 4 on the trail?

I agree. The gen 5 does look nicer. LED lights are long over due and the dash should be a TFT. Doesn’t need to be as feature rich as the 10 inch. This day we should be past single colour screens. Looking forward to ski doo releasing more gen 5 sleds.

I can't agree on the styling but to each their own.My opinion doesn't mean it's not a great snowmobile, but there is something about that styling I can't get over
was the oil tank mounted over the drive belt any issue with the belt coming apart and hitting oil tank
I don't know if you guys are open to video suggestions, but how about a "best for your buck middle of the road sled of the year." Comparing the sleds that most riders can afford or seems more reasonable, rather than the top of the line trail sleds. I think this blizzard would be a good example or a Polaris XC. Not the XRS's, VR1's, and XCR's.
Either way I can't wait for the next video.
I like it! It's just getting these sleds all on the ground at the same time that's tough. I do like the idea though...

Was/Is the G4 shaking an issue with the ACE 4 stroke engines?
I think Ski-Doo needs to do lots more color options for spring check. They shouldn't assume everyone is just going to throw a wrap on. Polaris does a better job with this.
Like you said most people will do a wrap so why bother, I like ski doo colors yellow or black . I think Polaris over do it with color's look like a rainbow chart

I think the rest of the big engine power packs(900s and 600r) will be G5 for 2024
saving the video and waiting for someone to sit on it to see leg positioning , start it , drive it , tell about fuel consumption and demonstrate deep snow depth limitation irregardless of it being a cross over sled . what can it do if it had to . dare to dream seeing a blizzard line with tundra monoshocks rather than costly exposed control surfaces . and for the love of god lose the over pricing .
