Christ. I’m so happy my truck paid off. I remember when I was at prime the damn weekly cost was damn near what I made every week.
I gotta tell ya, If I was only bringing home $1366.29 per week home before taxes, Hell even if I was only bringing double that home, I would be local…period. At that point who needs to buy a truck. I’d rather be home daily. That’s not worth logging in for weekly.

A darn railroad spike blew my '21 Pete's steer out on highway in cactus TX , whole light assembly gone w/some body damage. Made it to springfield during day hours after new tire put on. 17K insurance claim, yikes, but first guard & springfield pete were great to work with, took 3 weeks all said & done. Leasing loaned me an older lightweight w/NO payments on that little thing. Sure was good on fuel, made $$ with it, prime was really good to me thru that whole ordeal. Sounds like they're trying their best in your case as well.

Freightliner in Springfield doesn’t run 24/7 anymore. Unless that changed. I took mine there last year and it was closed. It was late Friday night had to wait all weekend.
We just know a few months ago we were sent to KW and they were working thru the night, but that’s the body shop, not sure about actual dealership

Well yall, i got hit yesterday at the flying J in Jackson GA. Guy parked his truck by the scales and went inside to take a shower and forgot to set his parking brake and the truck and trailer rolled down hill and hit 6 trucks including mine. He plowed into the truck parked to the right of me and pushed that truck into another schneider truck. He only grazed and clipped me to where my tie rod is bent and the passenger side corner is hit with the deer guard bent inside. No injuries or fatalities thank God. I was in my bunk with the curtains pulled when i felt the impact and heard the crunch and jumped up to get a picture cause i thought it was someone pulling out and cutting it too short and i was gonna get a pic of their truck when i saw the full extent of the damages and he wasnt going anywhere. Well there was nobody behind the wheel cause he was in the shower. Lawenforcement showed up 15 minutes later and the cleanup took 6 hours. He side swiped two trucks on the way down and ripped their hoods off. It was chaos and mayhem crazy shit.
Now i gotta get the tie rod fixed at a dealership so im mobile and then ill bobtail to SPRIMO to get into the body shop to get fixed up. Im glad this is a end of lease short term lease deal and i didnt sign up to purchase it. Thankfully this all happened at the truck stop and i didnt hit anything on the side of the road. Wondering if i should get a loaner but i may just take some time off at Sprimo and check out Branson. I bought into the time share stuff and there are some resorts down there i can get into without any upfront cost cause its part of my time share. Trying to make the best of this.
Wow Aqua! I had a video of that incident sent to me by somebody! I’m glad everyone was ok! I can tell you this, Jerry Claxton at Prime Body shop will have you fixed up in 48hrs or less I’m willing to bet! But definitely take some down time if you can afford it! Enjoy it Aqua! Stay safe!

You got a loner Volvo wtf mines been sitting in NC for the better half of the year my student got t-boned . This international is driving me crazy . The main problem is it reads every speed limit sign and attempts to slow the truck down and no I’m not speeding
Evidently it’s not smart enough too read signs like when workers are present or when flashing or between this hour and that ……but I’m not banking on that truck ever being on the road again the frame is bent

Hey I have a random question. Idk if you remember but you were walking out of the door at Pittston, and I was like hey I’ve seen you on CZcams and then my husband asked you about the truck and stuff. I just took and passed my permit. Do you have any advice for when a trainee should drive ? Like once I get my cdl and we start teaming and what not, would it be better for me to drive at night? And is the money even worth it to be driving team? With what he makes now (practically nothing), am I wasting my time?
your husband shouldn't be making "practically nothing" driving truck. makes no sense. as far as team driving goes, yall can make bank, IF YOU WANT TO. if your new probably better for you to run nights as its less traffic and whatnot. unless you have night driving problems. (seeing or just get tired) etc. if yall run while the other sleeps you can keep your truck moving way more than solo drivers and you each get paid for sleeping.
@@zoftazkid5331 uhm. Well, considering team drivers are sometimes making little to nothing, that means as solo, it’s the same if not worse, being the industry isn’t all that great. So thanks, but I was asking for advice, not for someone to tell me what my husband should be making. There’s no such thing as “making bank” with the industry being what it is. He works for prime just as the person in the video. Hence, why I asked for his advice or input. I figured I’d drive nights because of no traffic, but I’m generally awake during the day so it’s going to take some progress to sleep through the day without wanting to get up.

It would seem that way but a team truck can gross 9000-11000 a week. And it 2 more years it’s paid off
Well is it really? Let’s do the math. 24’ Peterbilt with $6000 in extra Upgrades + $9000 down + $1366.29/week for 156 weeks + $100 Title transfer fee at the end of the 3 years and trucks paid for.
Total cost of ordered truck after 3 yrs = $228,241.24. I can’t find any dealer or bank where I can
#1 put that low of a down payment down on a Brand New Truck with no extra financing or interest fees. Its a flat rate done deal
#2 let me order my truck with all the extras of my choosing and finance it during the order process with no extra interest cost
#3 have my truck paid off in 3 years all the while giving me a platform to generate good revenue while doing it with the resources this company offers its operators.
#4 have a 600k mile warranty on all engine and drive line components with the option to purchase an extended warranty
#5 have options to purchase equipment this fast with absolutely no credit checks or hard credit pulls
#6 purchase a new truck this cheap overall. $228k all in?! I can’t find a basic new 24’ 579 with no extras added for less than $191k before financing. This also requires a much larger down payment and ridiculously high interest financing especially due to today’s truck market.
So ….hopefully this quick explanation helps some understand why many people here feel this is the best, quickest and safest way to purchase a truck. What works for me won’t work for everyone else. I understand that. It’s all good, to each their own👍
