For those having thermal issues and jet fan noise, you can do a simple trick with turning on "Whisper Mode" from NVIDIA, and to set your processor load (in power plan) to just 99%. Mine magically turned down the temperature up to 20'C (from 85-90 to 65-70) under heavy load (with sacrifice of few FPS though)
There is a tutorial out there in CZcams, you can search it yourself
Thanks for sharing
It is not magic, when you turn the CPU load to maximum of 99% that means that it wont turbo boost. For example the Ryzen 5 5600h is default 3,3GHz and boosts to 4,2GHz. If you set the CPU max target to 99% it will only go to 3,3GHz
Hey bro can you show me where to watch or how to do that cause this is the first time i use gaming laptop
Pls help me
Anyone interested in Nvidia's whisper mode should open the Geforce experience app, click the gear (options) in the upper right corner, and then click the whisper mode button under the about section to enable it. Once enabled, all games should be optimized for whisper mode.
To change the power plan, type "Control Panel" into the search bar, click "Power Options," choose a power plan, and then click "Change Plan Settings" and "Adjust advance power settings." Go to "Processor Power Management" and then "Maximum Processor State" in this window. From there, change only the plugged-in number to 99% from 100. If you adjust below 90, you risk running into problems. just 99% should be entered. This will turn off the processor's turbo boost, which makes the fans sound like they are taking off for a flight. :)
The transition from my old 10 years old Asus to this beast is going to be radical! Mine is going to be delivered tomorrow, so hyped for this one

Hello, where did you find the B roll for the laptops in your videos specifically?
Hey, is it possible for you to do a video about the ASUS Tuf Dash f15 (2022)?
Ive had the computer for a few months and its always had problems…
Detailed video with no wasted time with real-life tests. You didn't leave anything 😂❤️
You really convinced me to get it.
What do you think about it and ROG Strix G15/Zephyrus G14?
I know each have their own uses. But like futur-proof. If I'm gonna buy sth, i don't want to keep upgrading every 1/2 years. If it would last 5-6 years, that would be perfect!
In my honest opinion, this laptop is future proof for the next 5-6 years. Its fast, uses DDR5 RAM, 4th Gen PCIe SSD, RTX 3060 and fast 12th Gen i7 processor. Comparing against ROG Strix G15, I will definitely pick this laptop over Strix G15 especially if you're not a gamer and don't want all the bells and whistles of RGB lightening and prefer a slim form factor.
It can be closely compared with Zephyrus G14, but TUF Dash F15 offers more screen space.

Can i buy a second handed 'asus tuf dash f15' (i5 11300h, 6gb rtx 3060) for 550$(2 years old and in good condition from my friend) or should i go with the new 'acer aspire 7'( i5 1240p with gtx 1650) for 670$. I mostly do programming and designing and will only play games occasionally. Since money is also a big concern for me, can i go with asus tuf (which have bottleneck cpu due to its 4 core 11300h) so i can save like 100 bucks or should i go for the latter which has the new 12th gen processor with a decent 4gb gtx 1650 ? Is a 2 year old laptop good enough for future uses? Pls reply. Thanks in advance!
Great review, I am using same leptop but never knew you can change keyboard color as red or blue. Can you share how have you done it ? because in AURA I can't see any colors.
It doesn't change I think
I have the same model its QHD but no keyboard colour change
I have the same laptop. I've tried to install about seven different versions of Linux on it with no success. On each Linux OS I tried to install, it always fails at the point that it installs the grub bootloader. There's always an issue. Any ideas as to why?
I've installed Ubuntu 20.04 successfully on it
I was also getting issues while installation of grub bootloader but with lots of trial & errors I found a way through it
Thank you for this video. I purchased mine in a hurry and without researching it first. Not the best way to purchase a laptop. Your video has confirmed I have made a spectacularly great choice. My previous laptop was an 11 year old ASUS U36S i7 that worked perfectly until very recently. I will always get an ASUS for their durability.
Glad I could help! And thanks for sharing.

Hello my friend
Do you think this model Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZC-HN063W with i7-12650H rtx 3050 (no ti) 16gb ddr5-4800 and 512gb nvme is good enough??
I was planning to get the msi gf66 11UC for a little cheaper with i5-11400H rtx 3050 8gb ram-3200 and i will add one more ram stick with 8gb and also 3200mhz and 512gb nvme
What is your opinion???
Hi fam,
I'll personally go for TUF Dash F15 because of the following reasons
1. Faster modern 12th Gen processor as oppose to 11th Gen Processor in MSI
2. DDR5 RAM with 4800MHz as opposed to older generation DDR4 RAM with 3200 MHz in MSI
3. Slim form factor
All in all, you will get more value for your money with Asus TUF Dash F15.
This is an excellent video! Ordered a 3070 with a 12650h.
Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.
Hi, I want to buy also with RTX3070 and 12650H. Don't you have any problems with overheating? Because now I have Zephyrus G14 with RTX 260 ad Ryzen 7 6800 H and it overheats a lot... so I don't want to make the same mistake... Thank you very much

You have to lift the laptop. Otherwise it sucks in hot air which isn't good for cooling.
Hi bro, i have the same laptop and I am facing an issue. My laptop is not charging after connecting to the charger. It only start charging after few minutes (5 to 10 minutes ). Is this an issue or it is normal?
I think its an issue, mine charges immediately. You should notify ASUS and probably return it.
Do you guys recommend this laptop cuz I've been thinking about ZenBook 14 oled but i don't know which is better
Btw i don't want a gaming laptop
This is a great laptop. ZenBook 14 is equally good. It depends entirely on what you want to do with the laptop. The TUF Dash F15 has powerful internals that can play all games at highest settings but it doesn't have the bells and whistles you will find a common gaming laptop. It can easily pass a business or content creation laptop.

It turns out that the Lenovo is much more expensive compared to the asus, and although I would prefer a smaller computer, the Asus sounds really great and have many same features
Yes it fits such purpose.
I recently upgraded from the Acer Nitro 5 and I couldn’t be happier. I mainly upgraded cause the Nitro 5 could barely run New World on low settings. And if I couldn’t even run New World then there’s no way I’d be able to play Starfield. I got the i7 3070 version and I’m able to run New World at high settings with little to no stuttering
Yo , how are the temperatures tho? Cause I have trouble picking between nitro 5 and Asus tuf f15

f15 2022's price is 20,000-30,000 more here than a15 2022
what should i choose?
Both A15 and F15 will give you high performance for the workflows you listed. However A15 uses AMD CPU which is more efficient (battery lasts longer) than F15 which is Intel. But do note that F15 is a little bit more powerful in terms of performance but the battery doesn't last as long as A15.

I bought the Asus TUF F15 FX507ZE (i7-12700H RTX3050TI) about 2 weeks ago, my battery lasts less than 2 hours and I use it for normal web browsing and light softwares such as Rekordbox (music mixing). I made sure that Performance Mode is on Windows and GPU is on Standard Mode both plugged in and out, tried to put it on Silent & Eco mode and it boosted my battery for 10-15 extra minutes. I can't even watch a movie without the battery draining...
I'm returning and refunding the laptop tomorrow as it's extremely annoying to have to plug it in every 2 hours or so
ok i did everything i know and my batter lasted 4 hours and 15 minutes as such but 2 hours is what you get without any optimizations
@@FortniteClips-rj7cnwhat optimisation did you do to increase battery life?
I bought a rtx 3050 i7 12650h 165hz 1440p ddr5 16gb and li will be returning it. I have owned a 2021 and 2022 dash f15. Both are trash, the new one feels so thin and when you bend it a little, the trackpad won’t work. So much screen flex, the keyboard don’t got rgb. The laptop doesn’t have that many features like in msi and llegion (camera shutter, crosshairs in the middle of your screen, fan max boost, and much more) the speakers are mid, they have low bass, and the trackpad is horrible. The palm rejection is really bad, the trackpad clicks easily, too easily that when I have my palm a little bit on it, my cursor will start moving. The laptop could have been made out of better material.. also the temps, can’t forget the temps. It talks about how good the fans are on the stickers of the laptop, but this laptop suck. Cpu reaches 95 degrees (my other laptop with a faster i7 12700h barely reaching 85) and the gpu (rtx 3070) 105w) never reaching 70+ while on this asus with a 60w gpu reaches like 85 (it never reaches its 75w peak limit, mostly stays at 60 sometimes goes to 75w) also the ports selection is bad too.
How was the battery life ? I'm struggling with mine, barely lasts 2 hours in web browsing, using light softwares and even watching a movie lol
