What cards from the new set do I need to try?
Dino DNA! I want to see some dreadmaws stomping around!!! (and maybe other curiosity see if Permission Denied is playable)
The artifact that needs 1000 counters
I’d love to see some kind of hackney prime time style deck in pioneer with the new Spelunking card
etali's favor can discover into itself..... a storm dream t1?
This is the Mississippi River deck that MTG Goldfish featured a while ago and it's one of my favorites. I'm so glad you tried it as it looks like a ton of fun.
Tbh as a non-American I don't get why the deck is named after a river, what's the reference here
@@lancergt1000 The mississippi river is well known for being slow, yet essentially unstoppable. Like the deck.
@@lancergt1000because Legacy. Silly names are a part of the format that we need to keep alive.
To be more precise not only being a slow moving unstoppable river, but it is prone to flooding which is essentially what it does to the stack.each demonstrate splits and grows overwhelming the opponent.
The deck was started by a guy at mox boarding house.
Props to the opponent for not scooping in the last game and letting the attack go through
Exactly, gracious player there. I hate being about to do something wild and the opponent scooping.
Love watching Cre-Aeve-tive technique go off and represent some HUGE attacks for lethal
I love this deck. The epitome of "so I started blasting"
Awe yean Mississippi River, let's goooooooo! I really need to get around to building this deck. It's a legacy deck that o can actually afford.
S/O to that last opponent for not scooping!
love this deck! it’s so fair and so broken at the same time
cant wait till Mississippi river gets hit the motherload to have MOREEEEEE big hits
It do be a dumb deck, I love it! Reminds me of old school turbo gyruda.
Love Mississippi River, however the deck is protected from force and such because of the triggers. It takes 2 counter spells to answer the combo, sometimes even 3.
One of the coolest slightly jank combo decks.
It's time for the river!
DUDE, IT WAS YOU.
I in fact didn't understood what was happening, didn't read the cards, didn't do it very well xD
A pleasure to learn more Magic against you. Thanks for the game!
@@davidpalacios6705which opponent were you?
@@nicholasfarrell5981 the 2nd one, deivmeh23
love your videos!!!
Now I’m curious if any discover cards will make this list. I do admit that I’m skeptical if for no other reason than discover is a triggered ability rather than an on cast one. But it is just so similar to cascade that I just have some reservations as to counting them all out
Trumpeting Carnosaur will be a big upgrade as it can uncounterably remove hatebears.
Hell yeah Mississippi river time
I'm so glad aeve has gotten some play, I've been playing them since they've come out.
That taxes player didn't realize Containment Priest doesn't stop cascade triggers. The creatures are still cast.
it was for the Creative Technique creatures, with the cascade it wouldn't work tho. That's why I waited after my trigger resolved.
What program are you playing on and can it run commander?
That is MTGO, and yes.
Lol last time I played against that I hit a Teferi time Raveler off my first flip
Crazy card does crazy things. Haha, so weird that it is just a "cast a thing for free" card but so it twice, so busted
Cudos to opponent who patiently waited for all counters and copies to be placed and attacked.
Day 2 of asking Harry to step on modern with a foot pic themed deck
My pet card is seeing play 🎉
Oh cool automatic otk’s legacys still got legs its not all bs we swear 🤣 glad this is entertaining for you sucks to be the player on the other end watching jt happen to them though sounds like a recipe for a game people will want to come back to and play more of.
It's a glass cannon. This deck sees as much play as Charbelcher. Tell me you've never touched Legacy without telling me you haven't
This comment doesn’t even make sense. It doesn’t “suck for the other person”, because everyone in legacy is attempting degenerate/unfair play patterns. It’s a broken format, and the people who enjoy it, revel in the degeneracy 😊
Creative technique is a bad deck, I’ve never even played agonist anyone using it on mtgo
