Scorpion is one of the only tanks in WoT where i prefer to be *not* top tier. being sneaky and picking away on high tier opponents with the great gun fits it very well.
Hey skill!!! I LOVE your phrase "research the bicycle"!! In America we say "reinvent the wheel", and I would assume that other places have very similar phrases)) It is always so great and interesting to hear other people's cultural phrases and anecdotes!! I speak English, Spanish and German, and surprisingly they have some similar phrases, and yet some very different ones of course!! It always is fun to see how a people communicate, and how their language really "works". It gives great insight into how people think, as the language(s) that you speak for the pathways of how you think and problem solve.

What I found quite amusing is the fact that in German the saying uses the word 'Rad', which is both the offical word for wheel and also the short form for bicycle.

This Scorpion is a laser gun on a cart.
It's an impressive trainer for new crews. But a very important fact not to be missed:
Armour = 1 mm thick on all sides of the hull and it has no turret. I suppose that WG armour model does not let tanks to have zero mm armour.
And although the *gun traverse is very slow*, it's not a problem if you play Scorpion "by the book". That is, being still in a place with good fields of fire, concealed with your camoflage net on and your binoculars providing early spotting of the arriving tanks. If it's not the (last) red line, if you are spotted, you can run away to the next sniping nest very fast, because having no armour means much less weigh than other tanks. So, the Scorpion acceleration is great. Top speed is not.
I got it for free in 2008 or 9 in one of those (short) marathons when you could win one of three or four mid-tier premium tanks for free, just playing a lot to increase the mass of cannon fodder for the customers of WG, the guys paying real money.
When i was age 18 back in 1984 i had the same hairdoo, but longer and standing higher because of beer as a finisher. All done for the nicest girl in the world.

I got this a free tank through the old tank rewards program and never played it till I grind the E3 line and used it for crew training. What a surprise, really fun little TD. Also I think this is a great example of a fairly balanced premium, nothing op, but a couple of very strong characteristics, gun and camo. This is balanced by the paper armor and modest alpha. Plus you almost never have to use gold amo!
I like my Scorpion, I got it for free with a TD damage grind a few months ago. You have to be sneaky. Spotted = garage. Not commenting on Skill's new haircut.
Thanks for first Scorpion video I love this tank it'so flexible with great cammo, good speed and very reliable 90mm gun pretty much STA-1 gun at tier VII

i played the shit out of the Scorpion back when it first came out. It was hella fun.
I almost never play it now though, I don't think it's in "meta" at the moment.

I think this tank doesn't need to be the best tank there ever is because it's just a troll machine. You play it every now and then to have some fun while playing with bushes and the camo and not to have the best scores.

Scorpion is really good, always thought so too. The Steyr wtr is a dumpster fire in comparison. Viewrange is the only let down.
