Yep. Yet another time it seems to me like Skill plays different game than we do. The way gun handling worked in last game is the regular way for me, maybe even bit worse.
My God it's trollish. Some games you can't hit a skyscraper point blank.
In 100 battles I don't think I hit more than 5 shoots 490dmg or higher....most of them....when I hit.....are around 400_450
For me it works fine. Well, it works as intended, 0.24m accuracy
gun is for most of the time complete shit.

Sometimes Scorpion gun slaps me in the face like t-103 gun do, it just refuses to hit the target, other times it hits the most impossible shots
Hi, I bought this tank a few days ago and I must say that it has a combination of features and dynamics like few other tanks in the game. I enjoy it a lot. I've experienced a similar gameplay style before with the Hellcat, but that was a long time ago, before the nerf. The Hellcat also didn't have that OOMPH feel in the form of a big gun and alpha dmg. Great tank, much fun.
Taking my daily dose of skill for 3+ years now. Glad to announce that last year I started a new account and went from 54% winrate to 61%. Maybe 3 more years and I get to 64 😂
On a real note, thanks skill for making DAILY videos like the baboon King you are. You might not be aware but your wisdom is very helpful to us, atleast in my case. Solid banana/10

The skorpion is one of the last "very good premium tanks without being OP af". It is strong, but without some brain a lot of people struggle to do something with it.
and don't forget this tank was the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse that started the OP Premium trend.
The Defender, Patriot, and Liberte followed this afterwards and the unstoppable OP bullshit started from there.

@@wake_up_samurai77 You get one shot off, and then die, time after time, plus there seems to be less and less vegetation on maps now, as for OP tanks, there is no such thing.
Skorpion is good but the gun can be sometimes so derpy it's painful. But the sound of the gun firing is so nice. 😁
This tank stings me harder than I can sting the enemies. Idk man, I have 0.26 accuracy on this tank and I just seem to miss or bounce a lot of shots (even fully aimed shots) in comparison to tanks with 0.33 like the Bourrassque. I guess my Skorp just didn't have enough blessings from RNGesus.
Funny thing is, I also can snipe with the Bobjekt v4 better than Skorp G lmao
The Skopion G is still a good tank, even today. I think the most difficult thing for lesser players with this tank is the camo. Without a Camo trained crew and all the other camo equipment, this tank can be practically spotted in the spawn within 5 seconds of the game. It has neon road flares for camo. Always double bush or you will get spotted at any distance when firing. Just about any other TD has better effective camo. Gun will troll sometimes, but is on par with SU-130PM. Other than that, all's good with it.
I like the Su130 better than skorp even though its slower. The skorp's gun for me is unreliable (misses so often) and the turret is so slow to rotate.
Yes and camo is better on su, turbo on SU helps a lot too
I find the 130's gun way more reliable, the Skorp makes you want to smash your head into a wall because it misses so many shots it shouldn't, whereas the 130 has the hand of Stalin.

No matter what build I use the gun trolls me so often that I prefer the SU over the Skorpion these days. I dont say it is a bad tank and many players I know personally have awesome games in it but maybe I bought a "Monday-Model" and WG put the wrong numbers into my pixel tank? But hey after this video I will try the Skorp again?
Me and my buddy have the same issue with the Skorp and prefer SU130 with turbo
Totally different for me. Skorpion snipes perfect and su trolls me all the time.

Love this tank too. One of my first premiums never regretted the purchase. The SU130PM gun can troll you.
I thought Su 130 is better and it is in most ways, not much slower than Skorpion aswell. The big difference is that the Skorpion has a reliable gun and the Su doesn't.

I have Skorpion and i have SU130pm, and i don't consider Skorpion's gun better than SU130pm's gun.
I prefer KA-RI, especially if u get match in low tiers o boy o boy, it has armor in low tiers and its completely brutal

I used to be good in this tank late cant hit anything with regular ammo. Magic bounces off elcs fully aimed shots flying over
I recommend rotation instead of improved aiming on this as the extra traverse goes a long way in making it even more leo pta like. I actually use rammer + rotation device + exaust and it feels like a leo a tier lower. Amazing tank.
I used rammer, rotation, optics for a long time and it worked fine. now I'm trying exhaust instead of optics and want to drop rammer for something else and see how it performs
@@makkoyun Rammer is too important. That 10 second reload is low enough for you to get 2 shots off in the time of many 390 alpha tanks reloads if you get the drop on them. That is just too big a deal to drop for anything else imo. Exhaust was noticeably useful though and let me get away with alot that I couldn't with the base camo.
Have over 2000 battles in the Skorpion G and majority of games I don't use premium. It is a guaranteed money maker. But lately they nerfed the gun and rng makes sure shots miss now.
Ever since the start of 2023 the Skorp gun feels incredibly trollish, is there actual evidence of the gun being nerfed or was it a stealth nerf do you think? Cause that third game of Skill's on Himmels feels like the average game for me with Skorp, missing easy fully aimed shots constantly.

@@giannidisumma2948 cant relate. Personally think people "overestimate" the gun and focus too much on it. Being able to reposition quickly and get good angles is what makes it really solid aswell as just taking your time. Rather take an extra second to aim then rushing your shot.
@@N_u_r_d I think the gun is good but when I compare it to guns with similar stats (aim time & dispersion) it sometimes tends to have trollish shots. I always take time to fully aim with skorp cause of the reload time and bad camo but the gun sometimes just says no. Maybe it's a psychological effect cause it feels more punishing due to the 10s reload.

I'm Scorp team too, Su moments are way too much to like 130pm, one of the worst "reliable" guns in the game
I love my Skorp, but I never get the kind of consistent gun handling that Skill has here. I get trolled non-stop, and there are days when it hits no more than half the time. When RNG is on your side, it is the best. When you piss off the RNG gods, you might as well go have a nap, because you ain't hitting ANYTHING.
This tank is what gsor 1010 wished to be but failed in every way possible
Eh? It has the better turret traverse and accuracy on the move. Not every tank needs 490 alpha. Not every tank needs a clone. Besides the Skorp G has one. It's called the Skorp

@@mraeterna my bad I was talking about the TD with auto reloader. (Gsor 1008). Yet still I don't think it better than skorp. Sure you have mobility and great gun but you're med and skorp is TD. Basically if you want to buy 1010 you will be better with burasque. And as I said I don't think any of them is bad.
I can say my Skorpion is definetely broken down...gun handling is HORRIBLE. It can't hit barn from inside unless is fully aimed and then troll factor is still very strong. I think JP II has much better gun even whitout tower.

Little known bonus with this tank: you can ram-kill with it. I recently ram-killed an IS-M. After my shot failed to pen his lower plate. World of Tanks in a nut shell.

And here I thought the big BUT of this tank would be the bad AP shell velo that let's you miss so many shots.
question, why do you turn around and face the rear of the tank to the area you're aiming? New to the game and trying to pick up things like this.
That way you can move of any enemies faster than trying to pivot your tank or move backwards.
Also when you're playing a tank that has no armour it doesn't matter which way you're facing you're not gonna bounce any shots so yeah better to be prepared to run.
@@Curries6 yeah figured it was the Skorp's glass cannon nature. So basically if you can angle and bounce from the front face that way, otherwise do this.
This and Progetto 46 is probably the only tier 8 premium tanks that are still relevant many years after their release.. SU-130PM is coming in second but it is much younger than Skorpion.

Don't forget Progetto's DPM buff when they gave it a rammer for free, freeing up an equipment slot

I managed to get the 9 rings (3 marks) in this tank like a year ago and yes, this tank its just amazing, and the craziest thing is that i got the marks only playing it for fun, i wasnt even thinking about the marks lol, be aware that this tank has no armor and low camo rating, but the gun its next level of good.
Enemy team has a 4-1 lead in game one and manages to lose 4-15 😂.

I would like to love this tank, but gun is so annoying. On the paper, accuracy is perfect, but in reality tank is missing half of the shoots. Everything else except camo is very good.
Maybe bad crew? Or you are just unlucky. Since I hit vast majority of my shots

I think it's a bit of bad luck, when fully aimed this tank is good for sniping. Kinda like Grille, accurate when you aim completely, don't be greedy just wait 0.5 more seconds and then shoot

Those more useful premiums like the skorp, su130, bz, etc. seems like a bit of cheatcode against lower tier especially in the right hands
On asian server tier 6 never face tier 8 and tier 5 never face tier 7, mostly tier 7 face tier 8s, and tier 8s mostly face tier 9 and 10. so it is harder to play on this server
This tank is best for the credit farm. (Without gold).

POS TD now. No cammo, no armor, no speed, no nothing. Very situational, useless in the current meta where frontal armor and premium ammo spam are the only two things that matters. Ppl will say " you will have to adapt to the curent meta...good luck with that..good luck adapting a razorblade to cut steel "

here is my advice for everyone who considers buying this thing
im a f2p player, i dont play premium tanks often, but my friend bought me a skorp and it is THE MOST satisfying tank you will EVER have
shooting gold with this thing makes ALL tanks butter, and you make more profit than shooting regular rounds
because when using gold, you will ALWAYS hit, so theres no lost in credit when you shoot gold
the gun is pretty accurate imo, probably more accurate than some tech tree tanks nowadays
