This TD is insane. Mobility, stealth, decent armor, INSANE dpm, passable spotting distance. I love this thing so much. If you are high-tier, you can bully most T7s by playing it like an assault tank, and even at T10 you have the dpm and pen to rip open almost anything that sits in front of you. A truly magnificent (and over-tuned) tank.

Gun handling ruins it since you play against higher tiers often where you have to snipe.
Bought it immediately when first for sale years and years ago, still my favorite tank in the game.
one problem though, the gun handling is absolutely abysmal. bad aim time, big bloom... rng aside, if you can keep this gun running, it is so so powerful.

He might use hardening in the second slot which might have a sense in this tank while having a vent in the first slot for better gun handling, visibility and camo index.

@@METALIKBRAT I 3 marked it over 100 games and I got set on fire once. Maybe just unlucky / letting your lower plate be seen too often.
@@METALIKBRAT it has pretty good accuracy once fully aimed, especially considering the alpha, DPM and penetration
honestly the only bad things about this tank are 1. aim time 2. dispersion values 3. HP (debatable since it's standard for tier 8 TDs)
Yea, definitely a underrated tank. It has everything besides good aim time really. When top tier it can bully with its armor and dpm / alpha, when bottom its camo and mobility lets it work. One of the few tanks I managed to maintain a 70% winrate in basically a tier 9 at tier 8.

Bought this tanks some time ago and it's really, really, really good. Can't recommend it enought, it's super versatile.

This thing is awesome, but very derpy. I play it with bond vents, improved aiming and coated else it's not very good at sniping from the back because on the Hong Kong server there are far fewer tourists and gameplay is much more passive. On the Hong Kong server, if you go in front the way Skill shows in this video, you'll be among the first back in the garage.
Having said that, together with the WT auf Pz. IV this WZ-120 premium TD this is 1 of my 2 go-to TDs to complete missions.
It's not really meant to be sniping from the back, right.
Many playstyle in NA/EU just doesn't work in Asia cause the player plays very very passively and aggressive playstyle only works if u have good team coordination.
Sounds like a near 100% winrate farm if you platoon with 2 other good players. Play heavies like is-7's and push through any medium flank without asking their name.
Players in WoT eu started pretty passively but have started to care more and more about map control.
@@veoa416 Since about 18 months I have an account on the EU server as well. After about 5k games, my WR is 4% higher and WTR rating 2k better on EU than ASIA server. Tells you something, I guess?!

the I'm not playing this game anymore but remember it was first tank I got 2 marks on. As you said - if you need to snipe it snipes, if you need to push - you can push. Just universal vehicle.
I love this tank as well - allways one of my top choices in Frontline mode. Especially in defending position you can make the attacking team to go and cry in the corner.
Also important to mention: The turning speed of this vehicle is insane. You can easily pass heavy tanks and turn fast enough to track them from the side.

I love this TD as well. I feel that everything about the gun is pretty decent except the aim time. It needs something to keep it from being totally OP. Really reminds me of the SU 122 44 but even stronger at its tier. Thanks Skill!
I bought this tank based on the fact that you (Skill) rated it with 5 start in the Index page.
It's been a blast playing this tank, although you need to get a bit used to the fact it has no turret (if you're not used playing with turret-less tanks yet).
I prefer this tank over the Skorpion, for the simply reason that this one is a bit more forgiving armor wise. You can eat a shot and still be fine.
When I was still playing the game, it was my favorite credit maker.
I had bounty gun laying drive, rammer, and vents. Improved aiming didn't exist yet.
Female crew shouting angry chinese curses. Almost second mark of excellence.
If you angle the front slightly upward and hide your lower plate, even tier 9 heavies have a hard time penning it.
Great tank really have problem with gun handling, but aim time can be frustrating without equipment. Recommend vents they actually make a lot of difference, could also use gun lane drive instead of binoculars as veiw range is good.
Sorry that should be rarely have problems with gun handling.

During those battles I count 5 or 6 rolls higher than 440 alfa. This problem is same like in T-103. T-103 rolls under 440 very often.
I played the rental version and I can say, I had a blast with this! One of my best win rate tank with the most average dpg. With an almost noob crew. Amazing, really.
That first battle is a proof that human stupidity is unlimited
I really like this tank in Frontlines. Anyone else tried it? The dpm is crazy and it has armor and camo and speed and alpha. It picks things apart. Especially when you used the Inspired ability. Nothing can out-traverse it. Pantera, progettos, mediums, lights etc. Top 3 of my favorite tanks.
Traded my tornvagn for this at the start of the year and I haven’t looked back since.

I have 65% conceal and never twitch or move after shooting. Hardly ever spotted.
….or, go all in when top tier and use that dpm and amazing traverse to shred the enemy. (Wiggle at 30 degrees and it’s very bouncy)
Bought it when very first for sale, and after many years it’s still my favorite tank. It is just fun!

I see some people comparing this to SU-122-44 when it actually has a major difference with WZ: SU is blind as f.
SU has pitiful 340m VR while WZ has 380. Combine that with top tier camo and WZ could do all roles at once: brawler (high alpha+decent armor), flanker (quick+insane traverse speed), sniper (meh accuracy but compensated by DPM), and also great emergency scout (for whenever your light is dead and you need to maintain vision control in prokorovka or similar maps)

I love this TD. It is so fun to play and so strong. Aim is not the best, but good camo, good fire rating, good speed, good alfa
I'm new to WoT, but I have 11k battles in WoT blitz, what Should I take? KanPaz 105 or Wz 120 1 G FT?
Like KanPaz 105 has almost or the best stealth on the tier... 41%, which could be increased up to 50% by installing equipment, from the other side, kpz 105 does not has armor at all... like you could just use it from bushes...

I have this tank, for the first several months I had decent shot rng and good matches....then....the shell rng went to absolute crap! Like constantly pulling to the max limits, missing shots with 80% probability of a hit 3 times in a row sort of stuff...lost interest after all that. May give it another chance.
Best Tier 8 TD imho, still my xp record holder, I even play it sometimes as Scout, has crazy camo values even on the move

I would agree, my friend, and I had the same opinion for some time. But it is compensated by very high DPM and more importantly, with the effectiveness of the tank on all maps and distances. Besides, it is one of a few tier 8 tanks that maintains its' usefulness with tier 10, still has a punch.
It is a slightly worse version of the SU-122-54 from back in the days, but still good.

I will give you some advice about Chinese TD since I've done the whole line and even had this tank. This tank wasn't mainly for me but it is LEAGUES better than the tech tree line tier 8 td. If you have a choice to use the tier 8 premium vs the tech tree? Use the premium one. Skip the tech tree and get the tier 9. Once ur past 8 the tier 9 can be super good if you play ut similar to the tier 8 premium plus u have 750 alpha and can get it to a 12 second reload 🙂
I really agree. The tech tree version is far worse, with the worst aspect being the engine. I have a turbo on mine but it's still pretty slow. The armor seems less reliable too.
When I have a bad session I take this tank and turn my luck around. It is perfect. Great armour, great gun (at medium range), stealthy, quick. If you don't do well in this tank then I can tell you that the tank isn't the problem 😊
Just got this tank on console for free with the war heros event they ran on consoles. Don't regret it one bit!
Probably the most RNG dependent experience. Either epic or cannot hit the side of a Maus point blank. Real Marmite tank.
Cut the back half of the 113 off. Remove the turret and place the gun in the front of the hull. Shave some hp off for balance. Kapoesh! We now got a tier 8 TD.
I enjoy this tank. Its traverse fools many tanks that try to circle me.

Because this tank is not a one trick pony, but its good at alot of things, that makes it so powerfull (although i wholeheartedly hate this aimtime)

Of all my T8 TDs, this one was the hardest to Ace....but it was always super-consistent.
I really wanted to like this thing but the gun was just too derpy for me to like it. I do like how it has great mobility and the frontal armor can be really strong if you get hull down but the gun is just such a troll. I tried dropping the optics for an improved aiming unit but it didn't really make much of a difference, the gun was still sending shots into every corner of the reticle. There were a few matches where the gun did behave and I had massive amounts of damage but it didn't happen often enough for me to like this thing overall.

this TD is fun and good but it trolled me way to hard during the rental period. Wont buy because 1. important shots and shots that just shouldn't miss went "lol no" and 2. I am not a TD player anyway so me wasting money on a tank I will rarely play doesnt make sense

This tank is very good, and it actually IS very precise for a Chinese tank. Anyway its much better than alternative on tier VII SU-122-44 which is absolute garbage rated epic by skill :D
